View 5 Replies View RelatedRight from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently done a factory reset & software reinstallation (which seems to have improved the erratic autorotate behaviour). However, my gmail emails no longer appear on the home screen (although they are syncing as I can access them in the Email app.).I've searched through various settings but can't get them to appear.
I know this has probably been asked before but for the life of me I have never seen a satisfactory answer. The company has recently presented us with Nokia E71 phones. How do you display your own number on your phone. Not how do you find it but display it on the screen so that it is always there.I have seen ideas like create a new profile and call it your number...or place it in contacts either as first number or own number. It would be nice to have it permanently displayed on the home screen or a one touch key that popped it onto the screen when required.God knows the number of time I've been asked my mobile (and there is a couple of them) and can't remember it.
So you need to fish the phone out unlock and trawl around looking for it.Ideal solution would be pop phone out press one key and number is present.Even if there is a piece of software which will allow this or creation of a screensaver with the number on it would be preferable to fishing around looking for the number.I mean with all the technology available to us in mobile phones today you think there would be a simple option to display own number.
Does anybody know if it is possible to display the time / clock and date on my phone's screen when the phone is on but in "standby mode" (black screen)? I can't find a setting anywhere on the menu to activate this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedToday I turned on my Storm 2 and saw what I assume is a BB Message icon under the date on home screen; it's solid blue, and on left shows "1". Opening message folders shows nothing. Scanning all folders, having turned off hide, still nothing i.e. no red asterisk. Image of screen can be seen here. [URL]
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy time/date suddenly looks huge to me. Kind of jarring I think. I'm not sure if it's changed somehow, or if I've just never noticed before. Does this look like the standard size? Is there any way it may have changed??

Please note a couple of minor bugs.1) Date displayn the options of the MotoACTV device you can set the date display format to the ISO unambiguous yyyy/mm/dd format, which is what I prefer. On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:

View 3 Replies View RelatedLately I've been noticing that the displayed time on my home screen widget is inaccurate. A simple tap on the widget seems to rectify things but it's weird. I'm using Transparent Weather Clock but I also noticed the same thing using the 3D Flip Clock widget.
Interestingly, my wife is using the Note 2 and she's having the same problem.
As this is happening with multiple widgets on multiple phones I feel safe in assuming that it's not related to the devices themselves or the widgets per se.
A new problem has developed with my phone. It's hard to describe but it looks as if there is fluid under the screen (I don't have a screen protector btw). You can push the bubble of fluid (if that's what it is) around with your finger and see it move under the screen. Most unsettling. I'm at a complete loss to know what to do. MY PHONE AT NO TIME HAS GOT WET OR EVEN SPLASHED - I'VE KEPT IT COMPLETELY DRY. I HAVEN'T EVEN HANDLED IT WITH WET HANDS.
The problem is only visible on the home screen and it's not affecting the functionality of the phone in any way. However, it's a bad problem because now I've lost all security on my phone - it doesn't ask for a fingerprint swipe any more so anyone can immediately gain access to my phone merely by touching the bubble.
Interestingly, the problem disappears completely if I run the Samsung Galaxy S6 4G in Safe Mode.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI am using a Blackberry, and very simply can show on the homescreen each separate email account, with a red star when at least one email arrives in the mailbox. It also shows at the top how many emails are new, overall. I'm not so concerned about "at a glance" seeing how many, but it's a god-send seeing (without pressing anything) where the emails have gone: work private hotmail. I know on the iPhone you go into Mail, and there you see your list of accounts, or 'All Emails', but that means I have to click Mail to do that. Is there a way (if like me you are email-busy) to see from the homescreen, a square icon for each account, and it show some form of identification that it has new mail it in?
