In addition to my Corporate email account, I have other personal email accounts activated and set up on my bb. On Saturday, these personal email accounts/icons all of a sudden disappear from my Home screen. I've tried reboot the bb by taking out the battery and re-inserting it.I've gone into Set up a few times to delete and re-activate them individually.I did received message back that these accounts have been successfully set up with my bb device, but their envelope icons still HAVE NOT been able to show up on the Home Screen. I've tried Hide & unhide, Show all and not Show all. Nothing works.In the Messages folders, I can see that I am receiving all emails from all my accounts However, when I go into Sound and Alert to change ring tones/sounds for Selected Profiles, under Messages - Notifiers. only Email [Desktop] shows up.How can I get back my other email accounts/icons to show up on my Home screen? My bb is Bold 9780.

At first there was 1 line, the it started increasing slowly, and now there are 8 lines on the screen.
my Blackberry screen randomly has two thin lines on its screen. It's not actually the outer screen, just the inside with the graphics. I recently noticed those lines and I just find it annoying to see.

It started with a horizontal white line at the bottom of the screen and this has now developed to the whole screen having the same problem so now it looks like it has a kind of whitish mask over the whole of the screen. I have removed the battery and then put it back but this did not work. Tried to switch on and off and no change.

However a few days ago I unlocked my phone to make a call and the screen was just completely not working! Its a white screen with pink lines going vertically. I dont have insurance. So who is it that I contact to get it fixed..? I was told in the Orange phone shop that Blackerry Ltd have a 2 year warranty on there phones. Im just stuck to as who can fix my phone!

View 14 Replies View Relatedand it won't go away. the phone still works, as I am able to receive and send calls. I can press buttons and see changes on the screen, but all i get are vertical lines. Sometimes when I hit the phone a few times and press the lock button, it would go back to normal, but then it will return. Is the LCD display broken? I've opened the BB to see if it was loose, it is not. I've taken battery out and re-inserted to no avail.

I must admit that I tapped the phone in frustration and the screen was back to normal. For a while obviously there is a connection problem somewhere.

The company has recently presented us with Nokia E71 phones.How do you display your own number on your phone.Not how do you find it but display it on the screen so that it is always there.I have seen ideas like create a new profile and call it your number...or place it in contacts either as first number or own number.It would be nice to have it permanently displayed on the home screen or a one touch key that popped it onto the screen when required.God knows the number of time I've been asked my mobile (and there is a couple of them) and can't remember it.
So you need to fish the phone out unlock and trawl around looking for it.Ideal solution would be pop phone out press one key and number is present.Even if there is a piece of software which will allow this or creation of a screensaver with the number on it would be preferable to fishing around looking for the number.I mean with all the technology available to us in mobile phones today you think there would be a simple option to display own number.
I've seen alot of themes that have it that way where it's got the calendar/tasks and the mailbox on the home screen, just wondering if there was a way to set that without a particular theme. anyone willing to navigate me through it? I tried screen/keyboard settings but no luck.
