How can I change the color of my incoming message textbox??? I'd like to change the color from white to another color coz it's kinda hard to read and review the message with a white background.. One of my contacts has sent me 2 text messages and I get the audible notification of the message and a time stamp, but only a "white bubble" with no message. I have contacted my service provider and they have conducted tests on my phone and I can send and receive messages. why the messages sent from this one contact are not coming through?

How to find TEXT message sounds on an HTC One M7? All I see is the option NOTIFICATION (which I think is for things like emails, calendar appts etc). Ideally, I'd like to change my incoming TEXT MESSAGE sound and even learn to assign unique tones to indiv contacts the same way we can with RING TONES.

I use Swiss Manager to try and terminate Maps but it does not terminate. Only solution is to switch off phone and switch on again. Should I delete and reload Maps?

A couple of weeks ago I changed the default ringtone for my incoming text messages. It would work for some contacts but not others so I changed it on the individual contacts by going into their information. I have now tried changing it again but it does not work on one of my contacts. Text messages from other individuals work fine but the one I'm having problems with will only vibrate not ring. I've changed it in the default, I've changed it in their individual account info -- but nothing.

If you are in the middle of sending a text message and using the voice input and talking to the voice input when a call comes in, the voice input is abandoned, the "answer/ignore" screen shows for a second. But before you can answer, the keyboard comes back up and covers it up, so you can't answer the call. And then the keyboard is stuck on the screen. "back" doesn't make it go away (so you still can't answer the call). Even if you go to the home screen, the keyboard is still on the screen. Stock phone, not rooted, all updates applied, etc.

While texting yesterday I noticed that if I was typing (had the keyboard showing) and an incoming message arrived within my conversation, that the keyboard is forcibly closed. Thinking it was my built in LG messenger app, I downloaded the Go SMS Pro, Handcent SMS, Chomps, and Google Messenger apps. They all behave the same way.
I then tested my wife's iPhone. When she gets incoming messages they just show up, without forcing the keyboard to close.
So, is this the way it is supposed to work? I have never noticed it before. Could this be a LG upgrade-to-Lollipop issue?
Im on an HTC ONE with Sprint and I am getting pretty annoyed with incoming text messages freezing up my phone and taking me out of the app I'm currently in.If I am typing an email in the Yahoo Mail app and I receive an incoming text message, the phone shutters/freezes and takes me out of the Yahoo Mail app and to a home app screen. And of course the email doesn't same to a draft for some reason. Incoming text messages pauses pretty much anything Im doing the phone: Skyping, Google Hangout, Big Fish Casino, sending a different text message, etc.

I see that I can change the bubble color scheme...and that I can add a custom background photo...but can I change the font color to something other than black? If I do put a custom photo image up and it is dark I can't see the font/writing.

His text message gets interrupted halfway through by an old message he sent before (be it a previous message from a few minutes ago or from weeks ago!) It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. It's getting so frustrating cos I have to keep asking him to text me again and a lot of the time I just get another 'cracked' text!

That no longer works. I can however change the font sizes by pinching. What do I have to do to have the volume keys change the font sizes again? Or was that feature removed by one of the updates?
