Nov 18, 2011Im getting emails and texts but I do not hear a notification sound when they come in. I have to remember to look at the device to notice an email or text has arrived. I have cycled power, selected different notification ringtones and adjusted volume. still no sound.

Feb 6, 2015I was wondering if any of you had this issue. I have a LUmia 1520.3 and everything works perfectly, except that if I am listening to music and I get a txt message. If that happens after the message is read and I return to the music the phone starts to play thru the speakers and the headphones.at the same time. There is a significant reduction in the volume thru the headphones but it still plays. I have tried different headphones and the problem persist over the podcast app as well.

Galaxy S5 :: No Sound For Incoming Call Or Text?
Mar 27, 2015I have an S5 which ALL OF A SUDDEN has stopped making a sound when ringing also when texts came through! I have search my self "round the bend", looking for a reason/solution!, to no avail!
I've tried resetting the sound settings, changing the ringtone etc! (when selecting a different ringtone, the phone DOES NOT make any sound then either, whereas, before it would play the tunes as I went through the "ring tone" menu).
The other sounds, ie key pad, internet etc all play sound!

Apr 2, 2012I have iphone4. All sounds are on and have worked fine until today. Now no sound with incoming calls, text, etc., although my alarm did sound this morning. I have tried turning them all off, turning phone off, then turning everything back on hoping it would reset itself. No luck.

Sep 15, 2011Phone doesnt ring or set of tone when texts come in anymore. I push the volume button and everything stays quiet, the volume bar now says incoming call volume for some reason too. Its not in silent mode either.

Aug 9, 2015So for weeks I've been dealing with a low storage space issue on my N5. I've been hovering at about 500MB of free space. I delete some photos, some cached data, etc., and get some more breathing room for awhile. (An aside: there's a specific app that is using way too much data storage and the amount keeps going up and up; I'm trying to resolve that issue without deleting the app.)
Occasionally I've received the system alerts about no new voicemail downloads, possibly no new message downloads, etc. I'll clear some space and those alerts go away and everything continues to seem to work fine.
This morning I got the low storage space alert(s), deleted some stuff, eventually got a handful of new email notifications, but for the past 6+ hours I've received no new txt messages (I use Messenger app for sms). I currently have 553MB of free space, I'm getting email notifications, and txt messages I send out are successfully received.
How do I resolve this? My N5 is unrooted. I've tried leaving it off for awhile, and have obviously rebooted it. Could this just be some network issue? (I'm on tmobile.)
(btw, I somewhat recently backed up and deleted a bunch of sms/mms messages, so there's only about 8000 currently on my phone, taking up about 165MB of space.)

Sep 12, 2014My IPhone 5c stopped alerting me to text messages. I have gone into settings, went to sounds, scrolled down to messages & selected an alert tone. IPhone will only vibrate on texts, volume is turned up. It stopped ringing for phone calls too and will only vibrate.  It is super armored with an Otterbox and has not been dropped or broken.Â
I turned off vibrate. I have even went to Settings General and Reset the Phone totally.Â
Volume is turned up. Text and Ringtone for Calls was set in settings. It plays them fine when I choose them.Â
I have no more updates available for the phone   Update is current OS 7.1.2
