IPhone :: 3GS Won't Ring For Messages Or Texts?
Apr 30, 2012My phone will not ring for messages or texts. It also will not play music outloud. I know it's not the speakers because it does make noise when I type in my password and sometimes when I am in the settings for the ringtone. It will not make the message sounds in settings. With headphones it makes noise. I don't know what to do and I've tried all the settings. Has this happened to anyone else? The silence key on the side is off. I've tried restarting it, but it does not work. Sometimes it will make noise when I am typing, but only a few times. I haven't dropped it and I have an otterbox, so I don't know what would cause it to do this...?

IPhone :: 4S Sending Texts As Two Messages?
May 7, 2012I have an iPhone 4S and am having problems with the text messaging. Whenever I text someone who does not have an iPhone the message will send in two separate messages.. even if the length of the message is under the 160 character limit. The message will send everything except the last word, then send the last word in another separate message. For example, if i sent something like, "hello how was your day today? mine was great thank you for asking".. it would send, "hello how was your day today? mine was great thank you for" in one message then send another message with just the word "asking". I've gone to the Apple Store & they were NO help & said it was a network problem. I then went to the Sprint store & they said it was not a network problem either. I reset the phone numerous times, then eventually Sprint ordered me a new one which is STILL having the same problem.

IPhone :: Why Do Some IMessage Texts Change To Regular Text Messages
May 15, 2012Sometimes when I text another person who has an iPhone the text message switches from iMessage to a regular text message -- from a "blue" message to a "green" one (if you know what I mean). I do not have an unlimited texting plan, so this means it counts against my 200 text limit. Does anyone know why this happens and if there is a setting I need to adjust?

Jul 19, 2010I already have 2 email accounts set up on my E72 (I use the business mode). I successfully added a 3rd email account and am able to send/receive email on this account. Unfortunately, I do not get notified of new mail for the 3rd account.
From reading other posts, it seems messaging only notifies of incoming email for the first 2 accounts? Is this correct? Is there no way I can receive notification for my 3rd account as well? Is there no way I can add it to the home screen so I can see all 3 email accounts instead of 2 (I would like to remove, for example, the search option on the home screen and replace it with my 3rd email account)

Sep 11, 2014Having problems with replying and/or sending group texts with the people you send to getting blank messages? I have Verizon for HTC One and people with iPhones from same and different carriers will get my responses in a group message but anyone I know who owns any phone that is Android or Windows only gets blanks from me.
Is there anything that can do about it on my end or is this an Android, carrier and/or HTC problem?

Aug 5, 2015I "think" this is the trigger. When I'm on a call my phone will drop the connection to the car handsfree link and revert to the phone (you can still see the bluetooth icon lit) whenever I receive a notification for anything. If it's a text, email, or whatever the call will suddenly cut out go to the phone and then 10 seconds later or so reconnect to the car stereo.

But its only for one person...I can open other messages other than this one.To open the message, I have to go to New SMS--- To: (their name)---OK. as if Im sending a completely new message to them.And when it does open their message from this point, the area is blank. theres just the arrow pointing by what they said, cant see anything else.Any ideas? Mar 9, 2010Basically on E72, I had messages in inbox, my folders and sent section. Once I restarted phone and then phone froze. I felt the problem was due to Vlingo application, because I pressed home button to see which applications were open that were casuing the freezing. So I restarted the phone and all messages were deleted. However my messages were saved as a backup on another memory card. So I only lost a couple of texts. But the same, exactly same problem happened yesterday. Now all texts on both memory cards have been deleted. I have now disabled vlingo to open on start up.
1. The only backup I have now is a pc suite backup of texts, as an .nbu file which I can restore using pc suite or ovi suite. However after I restore, the messaging application does not open and I have to restart phone. Also the texts inside "my folder" do not appear, only in my inbox and sent. Is there any way, of getting all the texts to appear including my folder texts?
2. Obviously the above solution doesnt give me all my texts back, so is there any chance of restoring the texts, from the memory cards even though it doesnt work when I insert it inside the E72. Im hoping by restoring old data inside the memory card by opening it on the laptop or something?
3. I heard, that texts do not get deleted at all, but just blocked, so anyone know if I can unblock them?
4. Or can my network provider send me texts, that I have recieved and sent over last couple of months.
