IPhone :: 3GS Won't Ring For Messages Or Texts?
Apr 30, 2012My phone will not ring for messages or texts. It also will not play music outloud. I know it's not the speakers because it does make noise when I type in my password and sometimes when I am in the settings for the ringtone. It will not make the message sounds in settings. With headphones it makes noise. I don't know what to do and I've tried all the settings. Has this happened to anyone else? The silence key on the side is off. I've tried restarting it, but it does not work. Sometimes it will make noise when I am typing, but only a few times. I haven't dropped it and I have an otterbox, so I don't know what would cause it to do this...?

IPhone :: 4S Sending Texts As Two Messages?
May 7, 2012I have an iPhone 4S and am having problems with the text messaging. Whenever I text someone who does not have an iPhone the message will send in two separate messages.. even if the length of the message is under the 160 character limit. The message will send everything except the last word, then send the last word in another separate message. For example, if i sent something like, "hello how was your day today? mine was great thank you for asking".. it would send, "hello how was your day today? mine was great thank you for" in one message then send another message with just the word "asking". I've gone to the Apple Store & they were NO help & said it was a network problem. I then went to the Sprint store & they said it was not a network problem either. I reset the phone numerous times, then eventually Sprint ordered me a new one which is STILL having the same problem.

Nov 30, 2012I have a collection of some nice SMS on my mobile, so I want to get a printout of these SMS, is there any easy way to do this other than opening each one of them and copy-paste in MS-WORD. There are around thousand SMSs so I will be a time consuming task to copy-paste each SMS.Phone Model : Nokia C5-00
P.S. I don't want one message per page, because that would be expensive and defeat the purpose.

May 15, 2012Sometimes when I text another person who has an iPhone the text message switches from iMessage to a regular text message -- from a "blue" message to a "green" one (if you know what I mean). I do not have an unlimited texting plan, so this means it counts against my 200 text limit. Does anyone know why this happens and if there is a setting I need to adjust?

Apr 15, 2010I’m having a problem with pc suite, it doesn’t notify me on the pc when I receive SMS, I have to click on the icon to make it display the SMS ( the notification popup doesn't display on the taskbar , but when receiving phone calls, it works fine ... )I checked on the setting and everything is configured correctly
Also tried removing and reinstalling pc suite but didn’t work .I remember it working fine some time ago, but haven’t used pc suite for a while and it's not working correctly now. I connected the phone via bluetooth, but tried USB cable too .using windows 7, and the latest version of pc suite.
BB Bold 9700 :: SMSs Appear In BBM Chat Screen
May 8, 2010I've recently upgraded to the Bold 9700 with 5.0 software. My issue (albeit rather small) is that my SMSs appear in my BBM chat screen. I followed advice posted previously and removed the contacts link and yes, the SMSs popped back into my SMS inbox. So you would think problem sorted. But here comes the interesting part : my husband has exactly the same bb, exactly the same software, his BBM contacts are linked to contacts, and his SMSs does not go to his BBM but only his SMS inbox. Confusing or what? Has anyone found a way of solving the issue without removing the contacts link in BBM? Alternatively, if this is the only way, how can I put a display picture in for a BBM contact after I removed the link?

May 22, 2011I want to export my Blackberry Curve 8320 contacts file (about 6000 entries) to my wife's Nokia E73 using a bluetooth connection. The two phones recognize each other but when I got to the 8320's <setup bluetooth> application and ask it to <Transfer Address Book>, it goes into a longish process of <creating address book>, the Nokia E73 responds and asks it I want to accept a message from the Blackberry 8320, I give it the OK and then there is a very long (almost 2 hours) exchange between the two during which the Nokia shows a bar graph of accepting data from the Blackberry. When all this finishes, there are no new contacts on the Nokia E73! I'm not able to sync the Blackberry with Google Sync any more either as it freezes.

Mar 27, 2010I have the E90 communicator hooked up to pc with pc suite and ovi.I have almost 2000 contacts and most of them have multiple numbers saved under the same name.These numbers have often the same type (mobile or telephone for example)When exporting these contacts using PC suite i'm loosing some numbers from contacts which have several numbers with the same type.
Further more i've the problem that the exported vCard can only store 6 number (3 private mobile, telephone and fax and 3 business) in its property, while i'm having contacts with over 10 numbers.Is it possible to export a contact having 10 numbers without losing one of them?

When I use the Phone Switch option on my 6700, it says that the service is not supported by the new device. I've tried exporting the contacts on my PC from my 6700 using Nokia Suite, but for some reason the exported .vcf files only include the contact names and not the numbers.

Although all my other (short) runs export correctly to csv file in the portal, for importing into SportTracks or Runkeeper (via a link provided buy an user), when my run is > 25 Km the imported file does not convert well - although the route is okay, there is no useable data regarding speed/pace..

I have Verizon for HTC One and people with iPhones from same and different carriers will get my responses in a group message but anyone I know who owns any phone that is Android or Windows only gets blanks from me.
