I know virtually nothing about exporting files.link me to some comprehensive intructions? Also, to what other databases can the files be imported (e.g. Cardio Trainer, Endomondo, Nike+)?

where do i find the .csv data files to upload to SportTracks? What I am really trying to do is convert files to .gpx (or .tcx)so I can add rides to Strava.
If this can be achieved directly to Strava...The Motoactv watch will become a hit in Australia, giving the Garmin Edge solid competition.
I have oceania maps loaded, though the display is blank on the device... it tracks and shows position during workouts, just the background is blank.
In my training plan for the marathon, I usually have one long run per week, between 24 and 32 Km.
Although all my other (short) runs export correctly to csv file in the portal, for importing into SportTracks or Runkeeper (via a link provided buy an user), when my run is > 25 Km the imported file does not convert well - although the route is okay, there is no useable data regarding speed/pace..
Has anyone investigated/reverse engineered what protocol the watch uses to communicate home, e.g. is a HTTP connection used, is it encrypted/protected with certificates, etc. If it was straight plaintext, we could at least have a backup solution if Motorola stops supporting the device and drops the portal... Must say I'm getting nervous about lack of Motorola feedback

The Sync feature via itunes is great this suddenly started happening with some files.
I am trying to sync itunes with the Motoactv using the USB cord. As of right now I can see all of the prepopulated itunes playlists in MotoCast (ie 90s music, recently added) but none of the playlists I have created myself nor does it display the full population of music I currently have in itunes (306 in MotoCast versus 910 in itunes). When I go to sync it says the sync was successful but that 0 files were transferred. Is there a setting that needs to be changed or a different want to get this to sync. I am currently running Window XP, MotoCast Version 1.7.0151.0, and ITunes Version 10.5.3.3.

I thought i did as it was syncing but a message popped up saying the photos were not the right format or something like that... Phone is plugged in using USB?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy MOTOACTV has been acting funky lately. It's done a couple of weird things (including appearing to "brick" last night before dying), but the most frustrating is that audio files that used to be playable on it are now listed by the device as unplayable.I specifically converted protected audio files in iTunes to unprotected MPEG files (using TuneClone) and made sure to use just these files when creating the playlists for my MOTOACTV. For several weeks (I've had the product for a little over 2 months), all was well. The songs played just fine, the playlists worked as expected, etc... Lately, though, not so much.
The songs in question are still listed in my "Songs" list as well as under their respective playlists, but rather than being black text, they are a medium gray. When tapping on these songs (and it appears to be about 30% of the songs), I get the following message:Unplayable FileThis file appears to be an unsupported type and cannot be played.I was wondering whether the file(s) might have been corrupted somehow, so I completely unsynced all of my playlists, (theorhetically) deleting all music from the device. MotoCast USB reported all files being removed from the device. Then, I resynced all files, but the problem remains.Then, I thought that perhaps the ORIGINAL files were corrupted, so I tested the files on the device through Finder, and found that they played just fine in iTunes.
Another issue that is perplexing me is the fact that I have FAR more songs listed in my "Songs" list than should be present on the device. Currently, I've synced just 2 playlists, with a total of 46 songs, though there is a good bit of crossover, so I should have something like 30 songs on my device. I have many, many more than this liste
So, most flash enabled sites work great on my Xoom. However, ESPN, one that I frequent often, does NOT unless I do the following:
1. Type about:debug in url bar
2. Go to options and hit the Dump v8 counters
3. Then hit Dump navigation cache
Then I refresh the ESPN page I was on for video and it works.You have to do this every time you visit the site...
I finally got my Xoom this week, and am absolutely loving it! I was looking to install Elixir on it so that I could build custom widgets, but it isn't supported on the Xoom. I was wondering if anyone know a working alternative to Elixir. If you don't know what it is you can read more about it here. I have it on my DroidX and love it. There are countless tasks you can build into the widgets.

I was/am using a USB Broadband modem for internet connection (for mobility) and a cell phone from another provider. Saw the RAZR and preordered from Verizon with much enthusiasm, Hey I'm finally getting with the times upgrading and consolidatingWell on 11/10/11 I received a receipt on the door when I got home, a receipt from FED EX saying they were here and unable to deliver without signature. I jumped back in the car and rushed to the FED EX joint to get my new toy. Well it sure is a beaut! I love it!ell long story shorter... I cannot get Hotmail, Yahoo, Facebook nor my eBay accounts web pages to load on the laptop via using the Hotspot feature. (Among many other sites while browsing) I contacted Verizon several times tried CDMA only blah blah blah.
Verizon escalated me to support out in Utah... TAKE NOTE MOTOROLA! and the Cisco tech there "made some changes" and was able to get me up and running, albeit until after we hung up and I was satisfied that it had been worked around. After about 10 minutes of enjoying "What I have paid for" it quit again and the pages just sit, trying to load and sometimes scrambled.Dismayed, I called Verizon and asked for a new unit, which I recieved last night, (and again had to got to the FED EX joint) IT TOO Will not funtion properly. ( I figured it wouldn't) But hey, even Henry Ford puts out a lemon once in a while.
I am very interested in the DroidX, but the virtual keyboard does not have any means to move the cursor- so if you mis-type a character, you have to either perfectly position your finger & delete the wrong letter & re-type, or delete the whole word & re-type. Why is there seemingly no way to move the cursor position on the DroidX keyboard & is there any software that does implement this?Also, will the Droid X be able to upgrade to AndroidOS v3?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to export my Blackberry Curve 8320 contacts file (about 6000 entries) to my wife's Nokia E73 using a bluetooth connection. The two phones recognize each other but when I got to the 8320's <setup bluetooth> application and ask it to <Transfer Address Book>, it goes into a longish process of <creating address book>, the Nokia E73 responds and asks it I want to accept a message from the Blackberry 8320, I give it the OK and then there is a very long (almost 2 hours) exchange between the two during which the Nokia shows a bar graph of accepting data from the Blackberry. When all this finishes, there are no new contacts on the Nokia E73! I'm not able to sync the Blackberry with Google Sync any more either as it freezes.

I have the E90 communicator hooked up to pc with pc suite and ovi.I have almost 2000 contacts and most of them have multiple numbers saved under the same name.These numbers have often the same type (mobile or telephone for example)When exporting these contacts using PC suite i'm loosing some numbers from contacts which have several numbers with the same type.
Further more i've the problem that the exported vCard can only store 6 number (3 private mobile, telephone and fax and 3 business) in its property, while i'm having contacts with over 10 numbers.Is it possible to export a contact having 10 numbers without losing one of them?
I've just bought a Nokia Lumia 800 and I'm trying to transfer my address from my old Nokia 6700 classic to my new phone. When I use the Phone Switch option on my 6700, it says that the service is not supported by the new device. I've tried exporting the contacts on my PC from my 6700 using Nokia Suite, but for some reason the exported .vcf files only include the contact names and not the numbers.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was always using on other phones with Android 2.2 FroYo that 3G mobile hotspot feature, which was included right in the Android system under Wireless Networks settings.Now in Defy there is no option like that under settings in FroYo. Defy includes own app called 3G Mobile Hotspot, which should work like that option for creating mobile WiFi hotspots in other Android phones. But here is the problem.On my older phone with Android 2.2 I could create 3G WiFi hotspot wherever I needed and it worked. But now, with Defy, when I use that application 3G Mobile Hotspot, it writes me error when creating WiFi hotspot "Cannot set up data link, please contact your service provider" I suppose it is something with my carrier (Vodafone_CZ), but when I used 3G WiFi hotspots on older phones (which had that feature included right in Android settings menu) it worked without problems and I a used mobile phone for 3G internet sharing with my laptop.Now I remember, that I have deleted some DUN profile under APN Internet profiles, could it be that problem, that 3G Mobile Hotspot app is not working?how to create WiFi hotspot on my Defy for example with some other app?Or if not, how can I use Internet Tethering in Defy Mobile Networks menu via Bluetooth (my laptot has BT). This has been frustrating me for the past 3 hours. I just opened my MotoActv today. I plugged it into my computer, installed Motocast, and set up my Motocast ID. I can sign into mymotocast.com just fine, but cannot sign into motoactv.com. It gives me the message "Invalid credentials. Please try again."

I looked thru it so many times but not being tech saavy can honestly say i cant do it.. So i started to look online to see how much to unlock and all i found ranged from 35 to 50..i used to unlock other phones for cheaper in the past...Ps i dont have paypal ..
