The actual apps do not appear in the notifications + actions, as an option. I cannot turn on the notifications at all ! Nov 27, 2013I bought my 1020 and was working just fine, but after 20 days, the camera stopped working. This is what I did after it:
1) I tried a hard reset and it worked for a couple of hours
2) I tried a soft reset and it worked for 1 day
3) I noticed that when I changed the date to the past and turned it off, the camera strated working for some hours.
4) I don't have a warranty, because I bought in USA and here, in Brazil, they don't accept the warranty. Even so, I took it to the assistence. They updated the software and, after 1 day, it stopped working. AGAIN!!! They said to me that if it crashes again, probably it would be a hardware problem, but they don't know how to fix it, since 1020 is new in Brazil.

Feb 20, 2014At time i have to double tap 4-5 times before my Lumia 1020 reacts and wakes up. And it can be really slow. My previous Lumia 820 had no issues with this what so ever, it work up instantly and i never had to do multiple double taps.
It's actually completely useless like this (since it ain't double tap but sometimes tap'extravaganza).

Lumia 1020 :: Phone Screen Is Not Working
Jan 14, 2015My phone's screen turns black a number of times now. Navigation keys are working and lights up. I can still hear the alarms and notification sounds. It sometimes takes more than 24 hours to resume to its normal function itself. Soft reset (vol down + power button) is a hit and miss and most of the time I'm getting the screen below.
I tried to connect the phone to a PC but it did not recognized because the phone is locked. I don't know if there's another way to unlock it.
Lumia 1020 :: Phone Flash Not Working
Feb 25, 2014My flash suddenly stopped working on Sunday evening.
I was tweaking the manual camera settings, and then a few minutes later it would not flash. The assistance light turns on, but then nothing - the pic takes without flash. I don't know if it's a coincidence that the flash stopped working just after trying to discover the manual settings, or if somehow that has affected the flash.
I tried resetting all of the manual camera options first (to auto). I then tried "using default settings" in settings, then tried "camera reset" in photos+settings, then restarting my phone, then a soft reset, I even tried uninstalling and re-installing the Nokia Camera app. Nothing has worked.

I tried a soft reset, hard reset, took it to the AT&T store cause the windows phone rep said its hardware but when I got to the AT&T store they showed me on their 1020's in store and also their demo ones they use that the music app did the same thing.
Lumia 1020 :: WiFi Just Randomly Stops Working
Apr 9, 2014I have a 1520(used to have a 1020) and my brother has a 1020. Of course i have to deal with her complaints when something goes wrong since i pushed her to a Lumia 1020 ....
What happens is, for whatever reason WIFI just randomly stops working. It'll show she is connected(both in the Icon at the top where you swipe and under settings/wifi) yet it doesn't actually load anything.
She'll be searching on Bing, Facebook, etc etc and she'll get the loading dots at the top of her screen that'll run endlessly. I have to then go into her settings and turn off wifi and then back on and it'll start working but then eventually it does it again shortly where there is no data or whatever.

Apr 15, 2015Last night I charged my L1020 with the camera grip together as usual, but this morning I found my 1020 not booting(tried soft rest and it didn't respond, seems that the battery is 0%). Something odd is that when I plugged the wall charger in the camera grip, it didn't respond. When I pressed the battery button for 2 seconds, it flashed twice with 4 led on(the led flashes darker then usual, which is really odd).

May 23, 2014I've notice two bugs with this new update on my unlocked 1020 with tmobile:
1. I can no longer hear any notifications, or alarms.
When I navigate to settings>ringtones+notifications>and try to set my ringtone, I can't even get a preview of the sound. When i press the preview/play button, i get backed out into the settings menu again.
2. When I am typing a text and someone else texts me, I get backed out into the main menu/ metro pane menu.
Noticed these problems with OS version 8.10.12382.878
I tried a soft reset and a hard reset (factory), but it didn't work....
Lumia 1020 :: BT And WIFI Randomly Stop Working After CYAN And 8.1 Update
Sep 11, 2014Her phone was perfect before doing the updates. Now, she claims the BT just turns off and won't turn back on (in the car, connected to the car audio system). I looked at her phone the other day and sure enough, BT and WIFI were both OFF, and when I tried to turn them on, it said something like "Sorry, can't to that right now. Try again later.". Turned off phone and turned back on, and it's fine...for a while, then does the same thing.

Whenever I try to turn on Internet Sharing, it tries for a few seconds, and then gives error "Connection not shared. There's no cellular data connection to share right now. Check your cellular settings and signal, and try again."
Yes, I've installed Nokia Access Point and activated the APN.

Lumia 1320 :: Why Aren't App Notifications Showing In Action Center
Mar 8, 2015What is happening: Notifications like photo comments, tags, favorites, likes, game notifications are not showing up under the action center. This is happening for a certain number of applications (Facebook, Twitter, Path, 6tag, etc). Mostly, none native applications. Only native applications and a few third party applications are showing up in the Action Center as well in the Settings under 'Notifications+Actions.'
What I have tried to do to resolve the issue: I have uninstalled the applications, reboot the phone, reinstalled the applications, checked the settings of the applications itself (eg. checked facebook settings for notifications - they were on). And lastly, restarted/refreshed/formatted the phone. Also, I tried to remove those icons from the lockscreen for their corresponding applications (I've read that somewhere in MS Answers), they said application notifications will only show if they are allowed to run in the background (check) and if they are not included in the Quick Status for the Lockscreen (check).
What I got on my hands: I have a lumia 1320 running the latest firmware available from MS/Nokia, Lumia Denim. I have a 16gb micro SD card in the phone.
BB Bold :: BBM, Internet & Email Aren't Working?
Jan 23, 2012I got the new Bold 9900 a couple of weeks ago, and everything was working fine, but then a couple of days ago, everything just seemed to stop working. On BBM, whenever I try to send a message, the little red clock just appears, and I'm not seeing anybody's recent updates. My emails aren't coming through & none of the internet based apps are working. I've tried the hard reboot and reinstalling all the apps but nothing has worked.I've also done the Host Routing Table registration stuff but have not recieved any message. When I click on the service staus option, under the Blackberry Enterprise Service option, it says 'not connected'.
