I've had an LG G3 (D855) for a while now. I've updated to Android 5.0 and suddenly I can no longer transfer files between the Phone and both my computers (Win7 PC + MacBook Pro). The options for USB file transfers are just outright missing. Its not listed under storage and tapping on the "charging" notification does nothing.

When i'm on a phone call it automatically brings up the dial pad instead of going to the standard options like speaker phone and mute and all that. i often switch to speaker phone when on a phone call and i have to click twice when i could just click speaker phone.its just annoying i was wondering if there is a way to switch it to default to the speaker phone screen?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI did a factory reset on my phone because I'd been having battery issues and just wanted to restart.
I backed it up using the HTC account and used dropbox to store all of the information.
I can still see the information in my dropbox account (when I access it through the a desktop browser).
I have downloaded the dropbox app again and it's listed under "Settings > Accounts & Sync"
However now I've completed the backup and am looking to restore the information, I go to:
Settings > Backup & Reset > Restore from HTC Backup > ... But then there are no cloud backups to restore.
I believe in that last menu should be the option to restore my dropbox account.
Is there anyway to install a limited recovery or just turn it off when not needed it and turn it on back when needed ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use voice dialing on the Storm 2. I like the hot keys on the World Phone, so I need a new option.It recognizes numbers just fine. But it will not recognize any matches for any names that I say.I found a tip about "Adapt Voice", but my Storm2 has no such option in Voice Dialing. Only "Adapt Digits" which I did. Is there some piece missing? Possibly OS? How do I check my OS version?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought a Sprint 8330 from a guy on Craigslist, and it worked fine until my girlfriend freaking wiped my phone trying to guess my password. So I got on crackberry and followed the instructions from Lecture 12 of the BB 101 and got it up and running again. Or so I thought.. Now, I have no browser icon whatsoever, and all of my MMS options are gone. I believe the phone had OS4.3 before because now all of my home screen stuff looks different along with my inbox. I just wanna have my MMS and Internet back. Should I go back to 4.3? Or is this something really easy that I just don't know because I'm a first time BB user? Help pls?
Also! I had the phone flashed over to work with Cricket Mobile. I doubt that has anything to do with it though considering my MMS and internet still worked then.

Verizon (my current) has phones with big displays and keyboards but they have a greedy requirement of "data plan" for those phones.The best they will offer is a "Cosmos". Nice keyboard but tiny display. I asked a VZ rep here on CB and the guy got all bent and childish calling me names and such.Hey, I'm the one paying so why can't I get something I am happy with?
This is very frustrating! My phone has recently started ringing when I'm receiving incoming call but the screen remains idle and doesn't display who's calling. It also doesn't display the answer/ignore options and will continue to ring until I switch the phone off! I have also been receiving 'Unknown' calls from known numbers too.
I have looked through your forums and have read the Settings/Personalisation/Manage Notifications fix. I am in the UK however and my settings don't appear to have these options at all. I am a carer for my 2 year old daughter and depend on my phone for doctor/hospital appointments, physio, emergencies etc. I have a few months left on the contract and if I am very tempted to settle contract early as the phone is no use to me while it is doing this.
Clicking on Options from home screen, does not show the menu item "advanced options". It used to be there nut now is gone. It "was" the last menu item in the option but now the last one is "Third Party Apps".

My Torch will not let me into option. When I click on options it just hangs unless I press the hang-up button. Each time I reboot it I get an uncaught exception error - No Application. Its running the latest approved version of the OS from Orange. It also did this with he previous OS bundle so I do not suspect its a patch issue.

I have just recently had the new blackberry bold 9990 and this morning the options just disappeared off the menu. On the smaller menu its there but when I press it it does nothing. I have searched all folders and can not find it anywhere. I have also rebooted it several times and it is not anywhere. I know options cannot be deleted but I don't know what else to try to find it!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have searched the forum in regards to the pop up saying my SIM Card is full delete messages etc., and I do know that I have gone back to Options (after reading it here) and said NO to saving messages on it. I have also removed my battery while phone was on, but am still receiving message. Now when I go to Options, nowhere in there (and all files are as "show all") is there anything in regards to SMS text messages. I do have a folder named SMS but it is empty?All went squirrely after I did an update on OS 6, not an upgrade, just an update that was offered. Icons have moved around that I'm not able to move, even when following directions again, from this site.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI wonder whether this is a coincidence: I just activated access to my gmail box on my BB Torch, in addition to the enterprise email that's be working on the device all along. While I can send/receive from either box, I just discovered that when I hit the Menu key in either box and scroll down to Options, and try to click on it, I get nothing. I seem to remember that I used to define several email preferences using this function.

All the QI charging options whether they are actual back cover replacements or just the receiver stickers by themselves they all say not compatible for AT&T model. (NOT a new mail account)Instructions say go to mailboxes list. Then tap Edit, then New Mailbox. There is no Edit option to tap. If I go to All Inboxes, I have an Edit option but only to delete, move or mark. Nowhere can I find New Mailbox option.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have installed OVI Maps on my Nokia E71. At first everything was OK. Then it turns out that I can't go to opitons->Internet. This means I can't choose the internet provider so the phone can't go to the internet and find data for my trips. When I go to Opitons and choose Internet, the program closes and brings me back to the main menu. I can't delete the program. I have re-installed it several times and the issue still remains. Whah should I do?
