I am looking to watch movies on my lg eve. I have registered divx, but phone will not display movies in avi or mpg. is there a converter i can get? I had one for my bb which shrunk movies in avi or mpeg down to be viewable on bb screen.

I'm getting ready to go on an airplane trip and planning on taking a couple of movies to watch on my iPhone 3Gs. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions:
1. Is the HD movies worth renting or is it just better to rent/buy the non-HD?
2. Will the iPhone last the entire movie without being connected to a charger?
Will it be able to watch HD movie like the ones you can purchase on Itunes now.

Its not playing .mkv files it seems... no problem with mp4's. I guess they need to be converted thats all...or maybe theres a player that will play mkv files ?
How do I get movies from the phone to play on a TV? Do I need a special type apple cable or can I use an audio jack out w/ 2 audios and video cable to input on TV?

1) Video Size, should it be same as screen resolution or something like 320x240?
2) Frame rate, should it be 30 or is 15 good enough?
3) Should i set the aspect ratio to 16:9 or leave it intact?
4) Change the bitrate or leave it as it is?
I could leave them in avi but each of them ranges from 600 mb to 4 gb.I am looking for good to excellent video quality and average to small size.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.
The phone seems dead except for the SOS display in RED. What can I do?

I started seeing these fine white lines... Like the ones in old monitors. They are not thar noticeable. But still... I had the lg g3 and the display was amazing! I don't feel that hd quality in this phone with those horizontal lines.

I do receive them in my messages box, but when I click on the icon of my Gmail account it keeps saying 'no messages'. However, the red star signalling a new message does appear on the Gmail icon. I've gotten as far as to discover that if I select the folder for my inbox (under gmail icon), my emails do appear, but if I open the icon normally, it says 'all messages' as the folder, but doesn't display any emails. I have changed the phone number from the one supplied to my previous number to avoid having to notify all my cotacts of a new number. When I go into the calls screen (the one brought up when you press the green phone button) On the "My Number" line it is still showing the supplied number not the one I have changed to. I went into the Virgin Media Store today but I was informed that it cannot be altered.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung Galaxy S6 display keeps turning on and off. And I mean it lights up, then goes black....lights up...then goes black....all day, all night. My battery is draining at least 4-5 times a day. I've tried rebooting. I've tried starting in Safe Mode. Nothing works. And this problem started out of the blue. While the phone is being used....making a phone call, texting or using an app the screen doesn't do this. But if its just sitting there its turning on and off and draining my battery.

Many of the numbers that I call since switching jobs have extensions. Can they be added to the phone number listing as shown when making a call? Currently, I have been adding the 'notes' field to the contact lists when someone or a particular department needs to be accessed. I find it confusing sometimes and would like it displayed even though it may not dial it. Can it be displayed?

Touch screen works, I receive calls, charging works, able to switch-off / switch-on, etc. Service Center person says liquid log near the display connector. Not sure where this water has come from into the phone and using very delicately as I am yet to complete EMI :-(

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm Sony user since 4 years ago as I started with Sony Xperia miny pro, Xperia S, Xperia Z1, then Xperia Z2.
Now I own the black model of the xperia Z2 since 2 days I decided to try the waterproof ability and take a photo under the water. I took the phone with me under the water it's not more than 30 meter and not more than 6 min .a few hours later, I found out that some of the water got in because I can see some condensation on the camera lenses both front and back.
Another few hours later I found out that the screen starts to flicker then the screen dies. All other functionality such as the sound still works because I can hear the tone if someone call me or receive a sms but the display and touch is dead.
Of recent, sometimes when I'm using L1520, the display begins to vibrate (shake). Like everything starts shaking but not like the phone itself is vibrating or anything.

Recently I locked my phone and tried unlocking it but the screen never turned on though I can see the screen lighting up a bluish colour but the display doesn't appear. I have to switch off the phone for around half an hour and restart for it to work.
