Often I use Facebook in Safari as the Facebook app is fairly limited in what you can do, however, after I've left Safari, go back to it and click on a link, more often than not Facebook will revert to the mobile site instead of staying on the full website view. Have had a look on the forum and couldn't see anything.

I've been having a problem with my Safari browser on my iPhone 3GS. Whenever I visit a certain site (yes, it's a family friendly site) my Safari browser gets redirected to an advertisement for a not-so-family-friendly site. The phone is not jailbroken, and though it is connected to a wireless network, neither of my other computers are having an issue. I also disconnected the phone from the wifi and got the same results on Safari with the same site using my network provider. I cleared the cookies and history, then restarted to no avail. I even restored the phone to factory settings but no luck.

I am using an atrix 4g and lapdock, and whenever I use the lapdocks firefox browser/facebook shortcut the browser allways reverts to the "m" site rather then the full one. This happens using wifi or the phone connection.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt just started yesterday. The phone would shut off randomly and then the only way for it to come back up is to plug it in. Sometime it complete shut off where I would have to turn it back on or plugging it would just go straight to the home screen. Now the phone wont go past the apple sign at all. I got to the home screen two times today and one time it it had no connection and lost service and then it came back and then it had no service again. So I turned it off to try and get signal again.
Eventually it came back on and the phone worked for about 2 minutes and then just complete shut off while still plugged in. I am now trying to restore it and it keeps shutting of mid restore and then I have to keep putting it back into DFU mode or however you spell it. The phone has the most up to date firmware but do I need to start the download over if the phone cycled randomly while it the download was still downloading from itunes or do I just put it back into that mode and let it continue downloading?

I made a call this morning and then I put it in my back pocket. Ten minutes later when I was going to use it the screen would not come on. I thought it was turned off but it would not turn on when i held down the sleep button and when I called my phone it didn't go strait to voice mail so I know it is still on. I know it isn't dead becuase I fully charged it last night. When I plugged it in to the charger it didn't vibrated like usual. Also when I plugged it into my computer it wouldnt show up on iTunes. I'm at a complete loss of what to do.

I just recently added a password to my home wifi network. Now it seems that about every 5 min or so I need to reenter the password. Why am I not staying connected? WEP security type connection. I've also reset my network connectiions as I do not see a forget this netwrk connection button.

Next couple of months I'll be staying in a house with no Internet access, yep it does exist. But I'll be in a built up area so should be 3G, anyway so plan to teether that. I've been looking at the options and a tenner a month seems alright. But you only get 3GB for that. But just a bit of internet surfing, IM, etc would that probably be ok? I know its easy to underestimate what you use. But not sure I'll have that much time to use it at any rate as at work I'll obviously use their internet, it's only when I'm at the flat! I can stop the infared sensor from staying on constantly if I turn Siri's raise to speak feature on and back off, then restart the phone. But the problem must return with one or two more reboots of the phone, because I haven't turned it back on and now the sensor is stuck on again. Anyone know how to fix this issue? I hate having to put the phone in front of my webcam all the time to make sure the sensor isn't staying on.

Using an iPhone 4s and trying to use the HSBC mobile banking "app". I called HSBC but they couldn't help. I key in the site, but when it pops up it won't allow me to log in. The HSBC rep said she was able to do it on her iPhone. I cleared cookies and history and allow cookies, but nothing is helping.
