IPhone :: 4S Infrared Sensor Staying On Constantly After 5.1 Update

I thought this issue would have been fixed with the update but I guess not. I can stop the infared sensor from staying on constantly if I turn Siri's raise to speak feature on and back off, then restart the phone. But the problem must return with one or two more reboots of the phone, because I haven't turned it back on and now the sensor is stuck on again. Anyone know how to fix this issue? I hate having to put the phone in front of my webcam all the time to make sure the sensor isn't staying on.

I had an M8 and switched over to the M9 due to my camera sensor constantly buzzing not able to focus. The Wi-Fi range on my M9 isn't as strong as the M8. I was able to get on the internet and used internet-based apps with my previous phone while in bed but I can't with the new one.

I have an old Panasonic X400 which I can send pictures to my Notebook , but when I try with my Nokia E71 , I get No connection , has anyone else had this problem ? and how can I fix ? The Bluetooth has the same problems , although sometimes it can find my computer ,but not allow me to send pictures to it ?

I want to buy an ant+ Cadence sensor which is really inexpensive and I'd like to know if I could pair it and use it as a SPEED sensor for my bike. Since a cadence sensor just counts how often the magnet passes by it then I guess they are the same as speed sensor.What would be the steps to complete this? or are the profiles baked in the firmware of the sensors and there's no way for the Motoactv to profile it as a different type of sensor?

after ICS update I have a problem with pressur sensor. This problem happens both with my bike computer application and with standard Sony pressure sensor demo. If I switch on the phone and I activate the application immediatly (before the phone go sleep) all works fine. If I wait and after a while (after display dimmed) I activate the application the pressure sensor does not send events. It happen systematically. When the pressur sensor doesn't send events it is not seen from service menù (no millibar displayed). My phone model number is ST17i, Android is 4.04, kernel is 2.6.32.9-perf, build 4.1.B.0.431.

i received the update notification to Tango through Zune. After perform the update, I noticed that when making or receiving calls, the screen immediately turned off and is not turned on again until the other person hung up.I did the tests in the diagnostic menu, and the proximity sensor always shows "detected".The problem is the same as in this post [URL]....I did a rollback to the previous version and the problem was solved, but went update to Tango again, the problem reappears. I've just bought a 5230 and I'm really annoyed that I don't have the functionality my E51 had where if it was really dark the screen would dim down. This is an important thing to me since I tend to read at night and I dislike having to go all the way to settings and so on.
Do you know any piece of software that could change screen brightness based on the light sensor readings?I'm just amazed the phone software doesn't do that on its own but hey s60v5 is worse than s60v3...

I have a strange problem and not sure how to solve it so i come to you wondeful people to save me.basically the nokia software on my pc says thers an update from my v12 to v20 but it wont complete it it then asks me if i have it connected right and my connection is usb to phone no extra cable no multi hubs.but whe i check on my phone for updates it says there arnt any, so im really confused as what to do can i update or cant i?

It just started yesterday. The phone would shut off randomly and then the only way for it to come back up is to plug it in. Sometime it complete shut off where I would have to turn it back on or plugging it would just go straight to the home screen. Now the phone wont go past the apple sign at all. I got to the home screen two times today and one time it it had no connection and lost service and then it came back and then it had no service again. So I turned it off to try and get signal again.
Eventually it came back on and the phone worked for about 2 minutes and then just complete shut off while still plugged in. I am now trying to restore it and it keeps shutting of mid restore and then I have to keep putting it back into DFU mode or however you spell it. The phone has the most up to date firmware but do I need to start the download over if the phone cycled randomly while it the download was still downloading from itunes or do I just put it back into that mode and let it continue downloading?

I made a call this morning and then I put it in my back pocket. Ten minutes later when I was going to use it the screen would not come on. I thought it was turned off but it would not turn on when i held down the sleep button and when I called my phone it didn't go strait to voice mail so I know it is still on. I know it isn't dead becuase I fully charged it last night. When I plugged it in to the charger it didn't vibrated like usual. Also when I plugged it into my computer it wouldnt show up on iTunes. I'm at a complete loss of what to do.

I have the Storm 2 9550 with Verizon.Since the latest update (v5.0.0.607), my phone freezes constantly to the point where the phone is really unusable. I spend a lot of time looking at the mini clock spinning in the middle of the screen, while I try desperately to kill my phone.I did not have this problem at all before the update.

I just recently added a password to my home wifi network. Now it seems that about every 5 min or so I need to reenter the password. Why am I not staying connected? WEP security type connection. I've also reset my network connectiions as I do not see a forget this netwrk connection button.

i have trouble with me camera light staying on, i was going to take it to the genius but i have changed the screen. does this make it void in any way as i have tampered with the iphone. the phone has been working fine since i changed the screen and the light just suddenly came on and wont go off.

Have noticed that my Photon can't seem to hold a WIFI connection. I can be sitting right next to my router, and it will drop the connection and start scanning again. Have noticed the same thing with other wifi connections at work. Also the WIFI connection sometimes goes dormant/gray and won't wake up on its own. The only solution is to turn the wifi connection off/on, or to cycle the power on the router. Not sure if its a setting that kills the connection after a period of inactivity, have looked in the settings but can't seem to find anything. I have had this problem pre and post update, but am frustrated as I've just passed my 30 days to return the phone easily if something is wrong with the phone.

Next couple of months I'll be staying in a house with no Internet access, yep it does exist. But I'll be in a built up area so should be 3G, anyway so plan to teether that. I've been looking at the options and a tenner a month seems alright. But you only get 3GB for that. But just a bit of internet surfing, IM, etc would that probably be ok? I know its easy to underestimate what you use. But not sure I'll have that much time to use it at any rate as at work I'll obviously use their internet, it's only when I'm at the flat! Also anyone used the o2 service, any good? Easy to set up?

Often I use Facebook in Safari as the Facebook app is fairly limited in what you can do, however, after I've left Safari, go back to it and click on a link, more often than not Facebook will revert to the mobile site instead of staying on the full website view. Have had a look on the forum and couldn't see anything.
