View 1 RepliesI just recently added a password to my home wifi network. Now it seems that about every 5 min or so I need to reenter the password. Why am I not staying connected? WEP security type connection. I've also reset my network connectiions as I do not see a forget this netwrk connection button.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if anyone else has problems keeping wireless connected to WatchGuard firewalls since the ICS update. I have an XTM 23-W and an XTM 26-W both running the latest WatchGuard firmware, version 11.6.1. I have a DROID 4 that was recently updated to ICS.Ever since then, I cannot get it to stay connected to either XTM firewall on any access point (each device has 3 available APs). It will connect, authenticate, get an IP address, and work fine for 30-45 seconds, then disconnect, reconnect, and go through the whole process over and over again. The phone works fine at Starbucks (open networks), and it works at two different locations with two different Netgear wireless routers both using WPA2-PSK with AES, the same as the WatchGuard units.I have tried using 802.11 ngb, just gb, and b by itself. When using ngb, it does it about every 30-45 seconds, with gb it makes it as much as 90 seconds, and b only does it even more frequently. With an open network, it does it every 30 seconds or so.Changing channels from Auto (it was on 11) to 2 or 9 made no difference.Changing from WPA2-PSK and AES to an open network made no difference.Having only one AP active (they have 3), regardless of which one, made no difference. On my Netgear WNR3500L at home using WPA2-PSK with AES (the same as the WatchGuard units), it works fine.I cannot figure out why this phone will not stay connected.

Is there any way I can plug my phone into my truck's radio and have it play over the speakers even while my Bluetooth headset is connected to it?
My lumia 822 had no problem with this but my HTC one m8 doesn't seem to be able to figure it out.
I have an 8220 pearl flip and until last week my bluetooth worked fine; then it lost connectivity. I've taken the battery out and put it back. I've downloaded the latest software. I've checked bluetooth in manage connections and it stays checked for about three seconds and then disappears. I've tried pairing in settings and it just says bluetooth disabled. I took it to the T-mobile store and they just tried to sell me a new phone. Nothing seems to work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday my wifi started dropping and my phone was unable to find/connect to my home wifi. After some internet searching, I restarted the phone, to no avail. Then I pulled the battery out, no luck there. Finally a read that shutting the bluetooth off can fix the problem. Well, yes that does work. But I actually use my bluetooth regularly with my wifi.So I guess my question is, is there any way to remedy this?It started happening out of the blue yesterday. No recent updates, no new have have been downloaded recently. The only thing I did was turn my mobile data off. It seems like the issue started once I turned the mobile data back on. But turning my mobile data off is not a new thing for me.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8900, Windows XP SP2, Desktop Manager 4.7 and a 3com PCMIA Bluetooth Card. Using the card I have successfully paired my computer with my Blackberry. All the services on the blackberry are enabled and the Bluetooth software shows that the serial port service is available using COM4. When I open Desktop Manager and open Connection Options, the 'use bluetooth' option is grayed out, so I cannot connect my Blackberry. Does anyone know what to do?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.
This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi. Its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 2012 bmw 5 series. I can pair the phones but after about 2 minutes it losses pairing. I noticed that the phone contacts never download beyond 3 contacts(I have over 1,000) so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I called bmw service and they were totally unaware of what to do.
Also media is not supported! When connected texts and music will not show or stream.
When I go into "Bluetooth Settings" I cannot set the device to "discover-able".All of them say "paired but not connected" but none will connected to the device with which it is paired. And one more thing: when I scan for devices, it scans and scans but will not detect/find any device.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy previous Nokia 9500 and E90 both played ringtone and alarm tones from main phone speakers even when connected to a bluetooth headset, but the N900 seems to re-direct all sounds exclusively to the headset. This is a problem since there are times when I remove the headset and then I miss calls and alarms unless I disconnect the bluetooth headset each time. It is not convenient to have to repeatedly connect and disconnect the bluetooth device. Is there any hope that this is not the intended functional design, and that it may be changed in the future? Currently, the N900 is not proving to be useful for me as a telephone.

Same happens when I connect it with a LG G3. But when I connect it to my S6, there is no such feature. Do I have to enable it in the settings? Or is it just a feature only available on IOS and LG.The speaker does come with a battery indicator, but its pretty vague. 3 lights only, and it indicates Full battery, 75% and low battery only. It'll be great to know the exact amount.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy wife can not believe that the phone rings through the Phones speaker even if she is listening to music through her BlueTooth headset(s). This happens with several BlueTooth devices, so it must be either a function of the phone, or a setting she has not found yet.
The problem is that if she is in a public area listening to music on the BlueTooth, and a call comes in, it transfers to the Phones speaker and disturbs everyone. I would think that if the phone was connected to BlueTooth, it would know enough to keep the speaker OFF. Is this normal for his phone? She uses a Motorola S9-HD headset, or a Plantronics Voyager Pro or a BlueAnt Supertooth 3. This happens no matter which device she is using.
I am a newbie to a smartphone and am trying to connect to my old Samsung E2550 (which I will continue to use) to my Widlfire in order to transfer my contacts. I have managed to pair them but on the Wildfire it states paired but not connected.
