View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased the C2-00 (RM-704). I have thoroughly tested the phone and am happy with its features except for an issue with low volume while using bluetooth with a hands free car kit. I know it is a basic phone but the ability to use a bluetooth hands free car kit was one of my mandatory requirements The issue seems to only be the output volume through the cars' speakers. I do not have this issue with any other phone, including Nokia C2-01 and Nokia E71, and other non-Nokia devices. When making calls the other party seems to hear me fine, indicating that the microphone volume is OK, but it is very hard for me to hear the other party even at maximum volume. Due to the road noise I have even had to pull over and stop the car so that I can have a conversation, which totally defeats the purpose of having a bluetooth hands free car kit.
View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since a new software download about 3 months ago I cannot connect my Jabra handsfree to my sensation. I can make the Jabra search for it but I have lost the option in my Sensation settings to "discover" a new handsfree device. It just sits there and times out. I go into my settings and get bluetooth on and it connects to the in car handsfree in my partners car but it can't find the jabra in my car.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an E71 and was using an old earphone for handsfree in car. Although the headphone is not high quality, it worked perfectly and I was well pleased. I attempted to use it recently but was surprised to find that my phone couldn't "see" the earpiece anymore. I have done the obvious things in bluetooth settings and even tried pairing another earpiece but still no joy.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded by Torch (AT&T) to release 6.0.0.2342. Since the upgrade I have been unable to reconnect my Bluetooth handsfree kit (Plantronics Explorer 240 headset). When I reboot the phone I can connect the bluetooth device but when I turn the bluetooth device off, the Torch will not reconnect to the device when I trun it back on unless I reboot the Torch. Also when the bluetooth device has been turned off the Torch still shows it as being connected flashing blue LED and on connection screen. When I try turn bluetooth off or disable it in the Blackberry it does not change state without a reboot (but always shows as OFF and will not return to ON or Enabled). I have tried both soft reboots (alt-shift-delete) and battery pulls. When bluetooth is locked up voice dialing app no longer works as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.
This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi. Its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!

This used to work fine. She can make a call by dialing a number on the cars touch screen, but the call only comes through on the phone.
If I connect my 3GS to the car then it works perfectly - sound comes through the speakers and the microphone in the car is active.
What did she do to turn this off and how can we turn it back on again?
We have tried:
- Unpairing and re-pairing the phone
- Telling the iPhone to forget this device
- Turing off Siri

I have just got an Incredible S and think its great. However I am having bluetooth connection issues with my handsfree kit. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. The connection only seems to last 2 to 3 minutes. I have tried it with two different kits one a Motorola T505 and the second a BlueAnt S4. Both had the same problem. I then tried a car with a factory fitted bluetooth system and it did the same.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Q2 blue ant bluetoooth to be used with my XPRT. When I attempt to call a contact using the bluetooth device, I get an audio message that states "activating your phone in built voice command on the connected phone." "This feature is not supported on your connected phone" then my phone will display "complete action using voice commands" So in essence I have to tap the voice dialer app to make a call. So, is there another bluetooth device that is truly handsfree voice dialing that can be used with this phone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just updated and configured my brand new Bold 9900 OS 7.0 Bundle 2406 for my Bluetooth devices and two of them that previously worked have issues. They pair perfectly but both devices are unable to connect a ringing call, disconnect a call in progress or initiate a phone call. If I answer or place a call from the phone, the Bluetooth device engages but the voice is only one direction. I have tried turning Encryption on & off under the device properties and no difference. I have verified the one Motorola device is listed as Compatible with my bold so what's up here?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe bluetooth handsfree connects and pairs with my samsung s6 however it won't import the contacts, it keeps saying no contacts found but they are all on the device. The car dealer says it's an issue with the samsung security so I went to where I got the phone from and they can't see an issue and say it's an issue with the handsfree!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been unable to get my AT&T S5 to iniate a handsfree call from a bluetooth device if the S5 screen is locked. This is really unsafe in the car if I must pick up the phone, enter PIN or password before I can make a call. Kind of goes against the meaning of "hands free". I expected to find a screen lock bypass for "trusted" devices or something similar, but so far I have not. My bluetooth receives calls fine when locked, I just can't initiate a call.
View 20 Replies View RelatedI received a new bluetooth for Christmas to go with my Defy with Motoblur (a canadian phone) and the Voice Dialler sucks plus the bluetooth instructions are just as bad.It say to refer to your phone's usual manual. So, I would like to know how I can make a call from my bluetooth handsfree using the phone.Based on an older phone I could add a voice tag to each contact and then use that on the bluetooth. This phone doesn't seem to have that option.(It all seems to work fine if I am dialling directly from the phone once the ringing starts. But this is all pointeless as far as I am concerned. How can you be handsfree when your hands are required?)
The phone is running on the Android version 1.5 since Motorola didn't come out with an update on my phone and getting a new one isn't an option.Maybe there is an app in the market place that might work. (I can't even use Google Play because the phone version was not updated)
I have had my Droid for over 2 years and it has worked very well with my Acura HandsFree Link. Suddenly, it told me it was paired and could not connect. My husband's I-Phone (AT&T was worked with this car as long as my Droid has. But the HandsFree has no trouble connecting to his IPhone. My Droid also cannot find my husband's Plantronics hands-free earphone. The OS appears to be the latest version as I checked and no updates are available.
View 7 Replies View Relatedhandsfree bluetooth completely not working after the Gingerbread update? I have an 08 Titan with the built in bluetooth and everything worked perfectly on Froyo. Since the OTA update, I can pair and connect but can't actually hand the call off to bluetooth. I try selecting bluetooth on the in call screen and it seems like it tries but I get no audio at all and it just kicks back to normal phone call mode. Speaker works.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI am using Nokia 5800 express music. I am facing problem while using bluetooth handsfree device. It is properly getting connected and getting paired with the device but while making the call the other end cannot hear my voice but I can hear them clearly. Initially I thought my bluetooth hands free is having problem so I bought another. But the problem was still the same. I can hear from the bluetooth device but the party cannot hear. Then I tried the same bluetooth handsfree with another Nokia 5800 express music and found it working fine. Is there anyone can help me to solve this issue. The difference between my mobile and other is the software version. I am having the latest version but the other is the first version. Is there any hardware issue or software issue with this?

I have an Xperia z3 and I can't get it to pair through Bluetooth to a Mitsubishi Outlander. It pairs fine with other cars line Renault and Nissan but it keeps saying registration failed with the Outlander.
I have paired an iPhone to it but it keeps saying registration failed for my z3.
I just purchased a new Z5 Compact and have found that when making a call using the speaker phone / handsfree option the person on the other end of the call hears the echo of their speaking. Its like what is coming out of my speaker is being picked up by my microphone and sent back to the other party with a slight delay.I have seen other posts in a similar vein.I like to use the handsfree speakerphone option for calls a lot and this is a big problem for me.
