Bluetooth will not turn on, sliding the Bluetooth switch to the on position the switch colour goes light blue for a few seconds then the switch turns off again, the WiFi is OK.

I seem to have a hardware issue on my phone. I am unable to switch off my phone. Every time I switch off, the phone turns back on in less than 2 seconds. How can Apple make such a device which turns defective within two months?
I called up the support number in India, and they helped me restore the phone a couple of times. (With apps, without apps etc), did no good.

I can't get bluetooth to run on my X10. I don't usually use it but today I wanted to. Everything else I have set to off to save battery life. I only use 3G for Internet use which I cannot do without.
My phone says it is up to date. I am sure there are a quadrillion updates or fixes users of X10 want. I have to say though, this is actually my first and only problem with X10.
I have a problem with my SE experia ray. I can`t turn on bluetooth. I taped on the bluetooth enable button in settings menue but there is no effect

Wifi and bluetooth won't turn on after I disable airplane mode after I woke up...
I already tried rebooting, safe mode and factory reset but it still doesn't fix it...
All of a sudden my phone started heating up and battery would drain 100% in like 4 hours ! :/ and then after i restarted, i just can't turn my wifi and bluetooth on. If i try to turn bluetooth on, the phone wuld just keep on restarting untill the system closes down the process "com.process.bluetooth". I repaired the phone using Sony Bridge, the phone doesn't restart now, but it still heats up and I can't use Wifi and Bluetooth.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Ray to version 4.0.2.A.0.62. Since the upgrade the Bluetooth doesn't turn on at all, just says "Bluetooth turning on" then reverts to an off state. Prior to the update it worked perfectly. Upgrade was done using PCC, no errors, but even so have tried several repairs since and still doesn't solve the problem. Have tried factory resets, rollback to the original version, Sony Update Service instead of PCC?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I updated to the latest software available on my Z3 from Sony a few days ago (23.4.a.1.264) then on Friday the WiFi and Bluetooth completely stopped working, I couldn't connect to my pebble and my data started to get eaten up.
Since then, I plugged it into the computer, backed up the data then ran a system repair through Sony PC companion to no avail, and booting into safe mode does nothing either.
I just picked this very nice phone up yesterday from Point Roberts in Washington State, where I have an address box I use to get packages that can't be shipped to Vancouver, BC, Canada where I live. I got it from Amazon.com.When I got home and tried to connect ot my wi-fi net work it would say turning on wi-fi, and then it would turn off wi-fi! I called SE customer support and spent an hour on the phone with customer support and did the software upgrade to android 4, which they said would solve the problem. It didn't. When I click on wi-fi it still says turning on wi-fi, and gets no further. The scan and add network buttons don't function. The bluetooth does the same thing, won't turn on. They told me to try to connect to another network, but I told them it doesn't even turn on wi-fi so how can I connect to a network?I've tried the repair function and updated the software several times, but nothing changes, it always says wi-fi and bluetooth are turning on and get no further.
I found others on here who solved the problem with software, so I'm sure mine can be solved, just wanna know how. I've even tried using it with and without a sim card in it, but always the same result. I just got it, it was brand new unopened and doesn't work. Now of course after I bought it, the supervisor at SE customer support says he thinks it won't be covered under warranty in Canada because it was bought in the US!I also didn't realize that the headset connector is OMTP and not CTIA, which my Klispch S4A android earset is and won't work. I asked Sony if they make an adaptor between OMTP and CTIA and they said they don't, later on with some googling I found out they do!
I might have to buy the Livesound earset, since it gets me compatibility and adds remote functions. Problem is I don't know if the sound will be as good as my Klipsch, which are terrific. I like the phone, obviuosly just want it to work. If it does, I will probably buy the Livesound earset.Brand new phone is apparently defective. Ive been a X10 user for a few months now... I havent had any issues with this phone up until now when I decided to use bluetooth. Everytime I use bluetooth, it works for a small period of time and then hangs itself... It simply disconnects and refuses to pair again... This happens with my stereo headset and also with the Wiimote I use for playing games on the phone... At first I thougnt this might be an issue with the headset (which didnt have the best reception, choppy audio and bad quality, specially for an official SE headset) but I really noticed the issue after I started using my Wii remote to play games on the phone since I know the remote works flawlessly on the Wii itself... The problem is that it stops working, refuses to pair again and when I turn off Bluetooth, it doesnt turn on again, no matter how long I try, forcing me to restart the phone... Only to work again after rebooting and hanging again after some use...

This has to be a problem that's addressed. I don't know if it's a android problem or just the device specific but what I found out is that this occurs on the LG G4 as well. Seems happen when your phone is paired with a Bluetooth LE device while also paired to a Bluetooth Audio device.

I am trying to use BH111 to connect to my music player to form a bluetooth link. So once i play some music on my connected device, say a phone it plays onto the music player. So, i bought a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable and have connected one end to my BH111 and another end to the music player input.
Everything works on fine till i get a call, when i want to speak to the person in private, because with bluetooth connected, the call is being also sent to music player via bluetooth. So, i turn off the bluetooth on my device, once bluetooth is shut off on my device, the BH111 automatically shuts off to save power(i guess). Is there a way to change this behaviour?
The intended behariour (in my case at least) is that i turn off bluetooth on my device, take a call, then turn it on again, maybe rescan to connect to BH111 via bluetooth once again. So, can the power saver feature of BH111 be turned off?
Bluetooth has been working perfectly. However last couple of days it keeps turning off by itself disconnecting my LG Round smartwatch. I'm running Android 5.0

I am having a new problem with WiFi intermittently disconnecting. It seems to be happening after the screen has been turned off for a while--I turn it back on and the wifi is not connected--once I unlock the phone the wifi then automatically connects. It happens on both my home and work network, and not with any other devices. Haven't changed any settings recently. Tried to turn Smart Network Switch off but that didn't work. "Keep wifi on during sleep" is and has been set to "always".
Possibly related is that a similar thing is happening with Bluetooth. I only have Bluetooth on while driving, and I have noticed that the connection has been randomly disconnecting, and then I have to manually toggle Bluetooth back on and reconnect the phone to the car.
I have a Droid Pro and a 2011 GMC Sierra with Bluetooth. After about 4 days of using the bluetooth feature constantly, I was in the middle of a call and heard a very loud echo/feedback sound. I looked down and the green bar on my "bluetooth" button was out. This now happens frequently and the only way to get it to stop (temporarily) is to power down and remove the battery for a brief period of time. When this does happen, I can tap the button again and it will usually go back to bluetooth, but only for a minute or two, then it turns off again. I really need a remedy.
