Details: I have an HTC One M7 on Sprint. It’s not rooted. After the recent update to Android Lollipop, I cannot turn the WiFi off.
It’s not as black-and-white as it would first appear, the WiFi on/off feature will work for 2, 3, or 4 days after the phone is hard restarted.
During the initial 2, 3, 4 day period of time, (it’s inexact, I’m still experimenting) WiFi on/off works fine. After the 2, 3, 4 day period of time, the off won’t work. What I see in settings, the Wi-Fi On/Off button with the green triangle never goes to off. On the settings screen when you two-finger swipe-down, the square WiFi icon when clicked, the concentric power waves will turn off for a second or two, then come right back on. And the WiFi icon in the status bar constantly shows a connection when trying to turn off.

Camera worked for a while without problems, but recently I moved the camera icon in one of the corners.
After that, the camera button (after the focusing position, when pressed till the end) just turns the main menu on without taking the picture. However, camera works sometimes without problems (one in five attempts). I reinstalled the software using SEUS, but the problems still persists.

Unfortunately the phone is unusable as it keeps either turning itself off, or totally locking up (I'm not sure which). It won't re-awaken using either the on/off switch or the home button. View 2 Replies View Relatedi bought a bold second hand ages ago and it was working fine until one night when i came in to find my phone switched off with 4 shortish/medium flashing red lights in a sequence, hasnt been dropped or waterdamaged and i had no apps on it and the stock os as i only need it for emails and texts. i cant get it to be recognised by the computer and i know the wire isnt faulty as i borrowed my friends 7230 wire (mini usb is the same for both models) and her 7230 and her husbands 9000 is recognised with and without the battery by my pc and hers.ive tried the following:1. battery pull - 1 long red light then the continuous four medium flashes over and over, same when i plug it into a pc (no red light or battery icon at all when plugged in without a battery)2. using desktop manager - nothing happens no device detected3. using the jl_cmder - no device detected4. using apploader by itself - no device detected/ no way to get past the usb/com port screen as the 'next' button is greyed out5. using apploader through command /nojvm - no device detected/no way to get past the usb/com port screen6. quickly switching phones with my friend when her phone is recognised without a battery and a update is prompted, it sort of works by letting me choose the os but then says no device detected

Oddly I've noticed this just today. My Lumia 900 buttons never turn off where as they would turn off after x amount of seconds when screen is active. I find this annoying because:It would definately cause my battery to drainI don't really need to see the buttons lit alwaysI'm sure this is part of the latest software release for Nokia Lumia 900 is SW 2175.2301.8779.12223 because I restored to previous firmware and this issue wasn't present.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my Mini Pro less than two weeks and the back key is unresponsive intermittently. The menu key can also play up, but not as much as the back key. The only thing that gets it working is turning the phone off. I thought it may be the screen protector but have taken it off and it is still there. I have not used the phone as anything but a phone (no internet browsing at all, have not even connected to the internet) so not sure whether firmware will help as it is new and could not have been damaged remotely?
