Wifi and bluetooth won't turn on after I disable airplane mode after I woke up...
I already tried rebooting, safe mode and factory reset but it still doesn't fix it...
All of a sudden my phone started heating up and battery would drain 100% in like 4 hours ! :/ and then after i restarted, i just can't turn my wifi and bluetooth on. If i try to turn bluetooth on, the phone wuld just keep on restarting untill the system closes down the process "com.process.bluetooth". I repaired the phone using Sony Bridge, the phone doesn't restart now, but it still heats up and I can't use Wifi and Bluetooth.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I updated to the latest software available on my Z3 from Sony a few days ago (23.4.a.1.264) then on Friday the WiFi and Bluetooth completely stopped working, I couldn't connect to my pebble and my data started to get eaten up.
Since then, I plugged it into the computer, backed up the data then ran a system repair through Sony PC companion to no avail, and booting into safe mode does nothing either.
The WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities on my LG G3 phone randomly stopped working yesterday and both connections won't turn on. I have tried to enable both connections, but the phone either lags out or does not recognize the command. This isn't the problem of the LG G3 not recognizing networks or finding Bluetooth devices, but both connections won't even enable.
I've tried factory resetting and that did not remove the issue at all.
my 4gs works fine, except.... the wi fi in general settings is not able to turn on. the icon stays light gray and does not respond to touch the bluetooth shows 'off' and then sits & 'spins' when i tap it. ive re synced, re set, etc

My Nexus 5 refuses to turn on Bluetooth only. The slider moves to the right and then back again. I have factory reset the phone 3 times, flashing different versions from 5.1.1, 5.0 and 4.4.x to see if it fixes the problem, but I have had no luck. I know some other people have had problems too, but there doesn't seem to be a clear solution. I don't know if it is a hardware issue, since wifi works fine and the wifi and Bluetooth antennas are one unit located on the back cover( according to my understanding). I tried replacing the back cover from a different nexus 5, but still couldn't get Bluetooth to work.
My wireless connections(wifi, bluetooth, wifi hot spot) are not working , when i try to turn any of them on nothing happens and its not turned on

I don't get any problems. I did the second command but it also didn't solve the issue that I can't copy files. I tried resetting to factory settings twice, didn't do anything. I tried putting it in the refrigerator but didn't do anything.

My phone says it is up to date. I am sure there are a quadrillion updates or fixes users of X10 want. I have to say though, this is actually my first and only problem with X10.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Ray to version 4.0.2.A.0.62. Since the upgrade the Bluetooth doesn't turn on at all, just says "Bluetooth turning on" then reverts to an off state. Prior to the update it worked perfectly. Upgrade was done using PCC, no errors, but even so have tried several repairs since and still doesn't solve the problem. Have tried factory resets, rollback to the original version, Sony Update Service instead of PCC?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just picked this very nice phone up yesterday from Point Roberts in Washington State, where I have an address box I use to get packages that can't be shipped to Vancouver, BC, Canada where I live. I got it from Amazon.com.When I got home and tried to connect ot my wi-fi net work it would say turning on wi-fi, and then it would turn off wi-fi! I called SE customer support and spent an hour on the phone with customer support and did the software upgrade to android 4, which they said would solve the problem. It didn't. When I click on wi-fi it still says turning on wi-fi, and gets no further. The scan and add network buttons don't function. The bluetooth does the same thing, won't turn on. They told me to try to connect to another network, but I told them it doesn't even turn on wi-fi so how can I connect to a network?I've tried the repair function and updated the software several times, but nothing changes, it always says wi-fi and bluetooth are turning on and get no further.
I found others on here who solved the problem with software, so I'm sure mine can be solved, just wanna know how. I've even tried using it with and without a sim card in it, but always the same result. WI-FI WON'T EVEN TURN ON!SE said it is defective and needs to be either returned to the store I got it at, which is in NY, or send it in for service. I just got it, it was brand new unopened and doesn't work. Before I bought it I did an online chat with them to make sure any unit bought in the USA would still have warranty service in Canada and was told yes, any SK17A had USA and Canada warranty regardless of if it's bought in Canada or the USA. Now of course after I bought it, the supervisor at SE customer support says he thinks it won't be covered under warranty in Canada because it was bought in the US!I also didn't realize that the headset connector is OMTP and not CTIA, which my Klispch S4A android earset is and won't work. I asked Sony if they make an adaptor between OMTP and CTIA and they said they don't, later on with some googling I found out they do!
I might have to buy the Livesound earset, since it gets me compatibility and adds remote functions. Problem is I don't know if the sound will be as good as my Klipsch, which are terrific. I like the phone, obviuosly just want it to work. If it does, I will probably buy the Livesound earset.Brand new phone is apparently defective. Was not told this wi-fi issue is a common problem and is posted all over the internet.When I called back today, they said they had no record of me in the system and I didn't actually call them yesterday! Sony is now doubting Canada warranty for USA phone they previously said was covered before I bought it.I might have to pay to send phone back to store, even though it is defective out of the box.OMTP headset plug is poorly indicated on Website. I would probably not have bought it knowing it is not CTIA compatible without adapter.Being not told the truth about headset adapter availablity.

It's not just my Z3, but my dads does the same thing and a lot of the time our phones seem to interfere with eachother in the same way. Not sure if it's a problem with the router? Or if it's a device problem. But either way, it shouldn't happen.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm getting this problem where I can connect to WiFi the first time with no problem but once I disconnect and the phone sleeps, it can't connect to the network again and says "Unable to Start WiFi", I can't even get to Wireless settings because it can't start the WiFi.It's the same story with Bluetooth. It'll work once. If I turn the phone off and then on again, it will work once more but only ONCE before doing the same thing again.
