Xperia X10 :: Unable To Start Wifi/Bluetooth?

I'm getting this problem where I can connect to WiFi the first time with no problem but once I disconnect and the phone sleeps, it can't connect to the network again and says "Unable to Start WiFi", I can't even get to Wireless settings because it can't start the WiFi.It's the same story with Bluetooth. It'll work once. If I turn the phone off and then on again, it will work once more but only ONCE before doing the same thing again.

I've recently begun to have an issue with my CLIQ XT. When I looked at it and turned on the Wi-Fi, it began to take a long time starting up with the "Turning On..." prompt on it. After a while though, it would then say "Error" or "Unable to Start". I've already Factory Reset the phone and that doesn't work at all. When I click on WiFi Settings and went into the Advance Settings, right below the MAC Address, it said "Unavailable".

Wifi is working in gingerbread 2.3.4 but after updating to official ICS 4.0.4 using pc companion, wifi does not start at all. What i've already done with no avail; Settings reset, factory reset, repair using pc companion, and reinstalling update using Sony Update Service. I've also tried manual flash to ICS but it didn't work. Lastly, I tried to flash back to gingerbread but also failed. Is their a bug issue in ICS wifi settings?

Five days back purchased a Xperia X10 and upgraded the memory to 16GB. It was working fine since yesterday morning, when I updated the phone through SE PC Companion software.
First SEPCC presented a message for update then it told to disconnect the phone from USB, switch it off, remove battery for at least 5 sec., put battery again, connect it USB with pressing back button. After that it starts downloading the update and then tried to install the update. But it failed 2 times.
Right now I am not able to start the mobile even by removing the memory. On the screen it displays SONY ERICSSON text and a '!' mark inside a triangle.

I been trying to update my xperia ray to android 4.0 but it keep saying unable to instal or start phone software, I read the previous comments and post and some people posted link to some page in sony but that also didnt work because that is actually asking me to download again the same pc companion software which i have already install. any way to solve this?

I was facing some screen issues with my Xperia x10 mini pro(screen freeze...i had to remove the battery manually, which lead to a phone restart and then the screen worked).But from yesterday, the phone is just not starting up...no Sony Ericson logo...nothing...totally dead?

For some time now my moto x has been unable to connect to WiFi or Bluetooth. I have been unable to find a solution. I have now come across the second update where I am unable to download it because of a lack of wifi. I downloaded Motorola Device Manager on my PC after being prompted today and it told me there was no update found, but my current software is "NA". I am not sure how to solve this issue. I have talked to AT&T and they want me to pay the $100 to get the phone replaced, but as I am eligible or an upgrade in a month or so I feel that is a waste of money.

I can see that there is a new update for my Xperia Neo but when it gets to the second stage (preparing my phone to update), it says it is 'unable to install or start phone software update components'. Anyone have any idea how I can update my phone or why it won't let me update it now???

When i try to ugrade my phone software i get the error message "Unable to install or start phone software update conponents" . i restarted phone, pc suite, reinstalled, but my phone is not getting upgraded. pc suit says latest upgrades are available. Even if i go for repair phone same option comes.
Hestory : last night i tried to upgrade my phone using Sony Update service. it ran upgrade and everything was new. all previously installed softwares are gone.
Symptoms: it shows android 2.3.4 version on phone but in PC suit while, upgrade using pc suite it says vrsion 4 .a .XXX , and upgrading to 4.b.XXX ... then it proceeds and fails with error "Unable to install or start phone software update conponents" .

I received notification that a system update is available for 4.0.2.A.0.42 and that this update can only be done with PC Companion. I followed every instruction but I had to abort the process when PC Companion prompted me to discontinue due to low battery conditions. I charged my battery. I connected phone and continued process. In step two - prepare - I get the error message: Installation Error: unable to install or start phone software update components. I tried several times but I still get the same error. I restarted my computer and my phone numerous times and still the same error is popping up.

Why don't we have wifi, data, bluetooth, and airplane mode or internet tethring toggles on notifications area? This will avoid jailbreaking our devices. Don't you think it will be verey useful ?

All of a sudden my phone started heating up and battery would drain 100% in like 4 hours ! :/ and then after i restarted, i just can't turn my wifi and bluetooth on. If i try to turn bluetooth on, the phone wuld just keep on restarting untill the system closes down the process "com.process.bluetooth". I repaired the phone using Sony Bridge, the phone doesn't restart now, but it still heats up and I can't use Wifi and Bluetooth.

just wondering how the warranty works. as title says i live in ireland but bought my z2 from amazon.de and it needs to be sent back to the factory because i cannot turn my wifi or bluetooth on after a complete update and factory reset. rang the support and she said she would email me instructions but its an hour ago and still not received anything. does it matter if the phone was bought in germany? what sort of receipt do i need or do i even need one?

So this has been annoying me for months, My wifi always drops as soon as I connect to a bluetooth device. It's not just my Z3, but my dads does the same thing and a lot of the time our phones seem to interfere with eachother in the same way. Not sure if it's a problem with the router? Or if it's a device problem. But either way, it shouldn't happen.
