the wi fi doesnt work.i disable stamina mode and turn it off and on several time and make keep wifi on during sleep "always" and still have the problem the wi fi and bluetooth too
For the last several weeks neither the WiFi nor the Bluetooth will turn on. When selecting to turn on WiFi is starts to turn on then stops and displays Error. About 75% of the time after attempting to turn on the WiFi the phone will reboot. I have factory reset the phone and the WiFi and Bluetooth will work once after the reset but once the phone sleeps neither WiFi nor Bluetooth will operate. This is even after a power down. I have checked my settings and can't find anything that would cause this.
I just updated latest OS on my iPhone 3GS and now WiFi struggles to work correctly unless I disable Bluetooth. Even when I am near the WiFi access point. Never had issue before. Never had problems with signal strength or locking on to know WiFi access points before. Only just have issue after the last OS update.
I have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.
- What happened: Wifi and bluetooth does not turn on and off as expected, in addition, the system as a whole is extremely slow and consuming a lot of battery.
- What you think the correct behavior Should Be: on and off wifi and bluetooth normally.
When I try to enable wifi for example, he is trying but can not [URL]. The bluetooth, the same. When I enter and leave the airplane mode, without attempting to enable the wifi, the device works normally, without delays or excessive consumption of battery, just try to activate the wifi to stay as shown in the video.
I've tried:
- Enter and exit the aircraft; - Caches to clear the Open Recovery; - Change a few lines of / etc / wifi / tiwlan.ini; - Fix errors with the FXR WiFi fix and rescue (http://goo.gl/glw2c); - Remove the battery and wait about 1 hour; - Rm -rf/data/misc/wifi and reboot for clearing wifi settings.
None of it worked. Attached bugreport and Screenshots
I am able to pair with other mobile devices, and my mobile bluetooth device in my car is paired with my X8 but I am not able to use my car device to make calls. I can only make the call directly from my X8 which in turn registers with the car device and connects the call. More importantly, whilst I do get a connection, there is no speaker volume through the car. For teh record, all other mobile phones work through the car device.
I am facng problem with its bluetooth. It doesn't accept any file through bluetooth and says that the transfer is stopped by the user. I tried to transfer few ringtones from my other handsets to it (Nokia 6300 and Sony P990i) bt it rejected from both of them. Bluetooth in all sets was on. X10 was set on discoverable mode. I paired it with both the sets and it got paired but mentioned that "Paired but not connected". What may be the reason?
When you are using bluetooth headset, the proximity sensor doesn't work? Is it a bug in Android v2.1 or am I missing something? I'm using MW-600 with X10i Android 2.1 if that matters.
All of a sudden my phone started heating up and battery would drain 100% in like 4 hours ! :/ and then after i restarted, i just can't turn my wifi and bluetooth on. If i try to turn bluetooth on, the phone wuld just keep on restarting untill the system closes down the process "com.process.bluetooth". I repaired the phone using Sony Bridge, the phone doesn't restart now, but it still heats up and I can't use Wifi and Bluetooth.
just wondering how the warranty works. as title says i live in ireland but bought my z2 from amazon.de and it needs to be sent back to the factory because i cannot turn my wifi or bluetooth on after a complete update and factory reset. rang the support and she said she would email me instructions but its an hour ago and still not received anything. does it matter if the phone was bought in germany? what sort of receipt do i need or do i even need one?
So this has been annoying me for months, My wifi always drops as soon as I connect to a bluetooth device. It's not just my Z3, but my dads does the same thing and a lot of the time our phones seem to interfere with eachother in the same way. Not sure if it's a problem with the router? Or if it's a device problem. But either way, it shouldn't happen.
I have the same problem with my xperia z3, there is some solution, I tried with the yellow button but nothing has worked, I live in Argentina and no support for xperia z3, I can send it to the US for repair, the phone is in warranty .
The bluetooth and wifi is not working together, when streaming videos through wifi and audio is connected to the bluetooth outspeaker , wifi connection drops for 30seconds and re-connecting...
After couple of months running on the latest 5.1.1 system, neither WiFi nor Bluetooth turning on to connect to any network. Both only display "turning on" but after seconds they automatically turning off.
my wifi and bluetooth not working when i get up from my sleep i've tried everything like downgrade to GB, then flash to ICS again, but wifi and bluetooth was not working
I'm curious about one thing, have problems with Wifi and Bluetooth? For example, my Wifi and Bluetooth are not turning on at all and this happened after update, but i think, maybe my antenna is dead or maybe, there's a problem with chipset. How do I know if it's an update or it's my phone....
I'm getting this problem where I can connect to WiFi the first time with no problem but once I disconnect and the phone sleeps, it can't connect to the network again and says "Unable to Start WiFi", I can't even get to Wireless settings because it can't start the WiFi.It's the same story with Bluetooth. It'll work once. If I turn the phone off and then on again, it will work once more but only ONCE before doing the same thing again.
Since i got my Z2 phone i've been having troubles with WiFi signal, but it doesn't matter to me... Last week I got a bluetooth gadget for my device and I am having issues with the bluetooth signal too, if something is obstructing between the router or bluetooth gadget and my cell phone, it present a huge loss of signal.I tested with my old phone (Xperia ION) and works great, so there's a trouble with the bluetooth / wifi receptor of my device... ¿How could I fix it? My warranty has expired, maybe an update? I'm running with 5.0.2 android version
Both WIFI and Bluetooth cannot now be activated on my Xperia Z3. At either the WIFI screen or at the Bluetooth screen, the window is empty except the slider, and when the slider is moved from OFF to ON, it hangs there about five seconds then slips back to OFF. After rebooting and after a hard reset, wifi works and bluetooth works. But overnight the problem returned. WiFi and Bluetooth can no longer be activated.
I am having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.
This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi. Its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!
So I updated to the latest software available on my Z3 from Sony a few days ago (23.4.a.1.264) then on Friday the WiFi and Bluetooth completely stopped working, I couldn't connect to my pebble and my data started to get eaten up.
Since then, I plugged it into the computer, backed up the data then ran a system repair through Sony PC companion to no avail, and booting into safe mode does nothing either.
I kept loosing my home Wifi connection, to some annoyance, having to restart the Wifi everytime to solve the issue. Until I figured out turning off the Bluetooth solves the issue. Anyone experience this? I've got an Xperia Pro.My phone is connected by Bluetooth to all my appartment's handsets thanks to a Siemens Gigaset. It eliminates the need for a landline and of having to carry my phone or to run to it since I have three handsets across the house now to answer the phone, or to make calls. Quite neet.Naturally, having the phone in my hands while using the Wifi sort of diminishes the problem.
I have an Xperia PLAY R800at with 2.3.3. Whenever I'm using my bluetooth device and reconnect to my wifi network, I lose bluetooth packets for 5-6 seconds. This does not happen when I compare against the Nexus S sitting right next to the Xperia PLAY.
This is a really bad problem, and is probably going to result in me not using my PLAY at all.
Prior to the gingerbread update I had my personal email adds set up (Tiscali.co.uk) Now after the update it doesn't work. It takes the incoming settings but not the outgoing settings. Also previously I could use my WIFI and now it just has a yellow warning triangle on top of the witrelssssignall saying "Limited Connectivity".
I got this phone yesterday, and everything's been working great except for wifi.I have wifi at home, and the phone is able to connect to it (obtain an ip address, show signal strength, etc.), but internet is not available.i cannot browse or use the market application because it's not really connected to the internet.I only have this problem at home, however. Wifi on my x10 works great everywhere else.My brother's phone and both of our laptops are able to access wifi at home, so I'm thinking it's a settings problem on my phone?
4.1.A.0.562. An attempt to pair the phone and PC Companion ends up with message "Your current phone software can not connect to PC Companion using Wi-Fi".IMHO it is time to provide downgrade option in the PC Companion, too many problems with ICS.
