I just updated latest OS on my iPhone 3GS and now WiFi struggles to work correctly unless I disable Bluetooth. Even when I am near the WiFi access point. Never had issue before. Never had problems with signal strength or locking on to know WiFi access points before. Only just have issue after the last OS update.

For the last several weeks neither the WiFi nor the Bluetooth will turn on. When selecting to turn on WiFi is starts to turn on then stops and displays Error. About 75% of the time after attempting to turn on the WiFi the phone will reboot. I have factory reset the phone and the WiFi and Bluetooth will work once after the reset but once the phone sleeps neither WiFi nor Bluetooth will operate. This is even after a power down. I have checked my settings and can't find anything that would cause this.

I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.

When I try to enable wifi for example, he is trying but can not [URL]. The bluetooth, the same. I've tried:
- Enter and exit the aircraft;
- Caches to clear the Open Recovery;
- Change a few lines of / etc / wifi / tiwlan.ini;
- Fix errors with the FXR WiFi fix and rescue (http://goo.gl/glw2c);
- Remove the battery and wait about 1 hour;
- Rm -rf/data/misc/wifi and reboot for clearing wifi settings.

The "System Updates" option under Settings->About Phone is disabled after I updates to ICS 4.0.4. I am from India and my current System Version is : 673.94.324.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03.

I set my password to on as usual and when I went back into to sign in, it's telling me my password is wrong and now my phone is disabled. I can't reach customer care and can't get into my phone.

basically when I open an app the top of the screen is disabled and doesn't work. So for example when I go into Safari and if I were to go on the search bar it won't do anything its the same with the app store and every app that has a search bar at the top of the page. I also cannot open my instagram direct messages at the top of the screen. The screen will respond in the home menu but not in apps. The iphone was second hand so it could be dodgy but I wouldn't have thought it would be because of that.(iphone is running ios 7.1.1)

I recently updated my IPhone 4 to 5.1 and now Bluetooth is not functioning properly in my two vehicles. I have updated my iPhone 3GS 16GB to run on iOS 5 as prompted by the phone. The following evening my phone was docked in my alarm clock on charge and by the morning all it was displaying was a silvery apple symbol in the centre of a black screen. After playing with it for a bit I saw a grey textured background with "iPhone" written in the middle and a sweep bar saying configure. I swept this bar and it asked me to connect to iTunes, if I dont within 5 mins it reverts to the silvery apple symbol. I have attempted to connect it to iTunes to which the same continues despite iTunes displaying my iPhone as being connected. After 48 hours it was working as usual once more and location services activated. The next week it began all over again, only now when I attempt to connect my iPhone to iTunes I am told it cannot connect becasue of an error code 0xE8000001, it then informs me that an unknown error, code -42408 has occurred. I would hate to have lost all my contacts and photos, I do Sync but I dont think I have backed everything up, I realise now from reading other boards that I should have double backed up etc. But at the time it didn't seem from the advice given on the phone it was such a mamoth thing for the phone to do.

During installation there is no option to choose what type of connection you want. I see there are options to choose between USB and Bluetooth or both, however they are grayed out. Device is found and paired. I have this same problem on 2 computers running different OS, my laptop has Vista ( a Toshiba) & my desktop has XP (HP). I don't get it as I have tried every configuration I can think of. It can SEE the BB but no option to enable bluetooth, only none or USB. I'm assuming it may be the BB os 5.0?
