I keep losing WiFi on the iphone4 32 gb after updated from ios 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 since last week. Completely, as in no signal, WiFi settings is greyed out, and WiFi is N/A under General > About.
Restarting the phone gets it back, but it doesn't stay around indefinitely like it used to. done restored by latest version iTunes, also same problems.
I updated my IOS from 5.1.0 to 5.1.1. The wifi was working great before it and never had that program but since 2 days, i have tried all the ways mentioned online but still cant find a fix.
After I updated my loved iphone 4 to the iOS 5.1.1, I cant longer find any internet at the wifi? I know there is a internet connection here, im at that network on my computer, so yeah... it always worked before, until i updated.
i have reset all the settings, and now im trying to reset the whole iphone.
I have iphone 4S and recently updated the iOS software to 8.1.1. after that wifi is not working on my device, even if i switched on the wifi, wifi icon is not displayed on the home screen and its not scanning any wifi devices? Â
wifi was working perfectly with previous versions of software. Is there any other way to fix this issue?
I just updated latest OS on my iPhone 3GS and now WiFi struggles to work correctly unless I disable Bluetooth. Even when I am near the WiFi access point. Never had issue before. Never had problems with signal strength or locking on to know WiFi access points before. Only just have issue after the last OS update.
I recently updated MT TMobile bold 9700 to OS .442 and now I don't have data except when I'm connected to WiFi. When I am on 3G or Edge I can make calls and SMS, but no web browser or BBM's. I've re-sent my service books and I've made sure all my settings were right.
Went through the Over Air update process yesterday, now WIFI drops all the time and the battery performance is so poor the phone will not last a day!Can I put back the old SW or get this fixed some how? (edit a config fiel or something.......?)
Since updating my E71 to v500, and then to v510 just recently, I have been suffering from terrible battery life when the phone is connected to a WiFi access point. I'm sure it's not a hardware problem, as I noticed it as soon as I first updated to v500. If I leave the E71 connected to WiFi, my battery will be flat in just a couple of hours and the phone is noticeably hot to the touch. I initially thought it may be the battery being a problem, so I bought a new one but still exactly the same.
On another point, the Podcasting application is now terribly slow. I wish I would have never updated from V300, which was fine. I've tried reinstalling the F/W a few times, and not restoring from a backup, but still the same problem. I also read in another thread that someone deleted the Lotus Notes application, and it fixed this problem, but alas, has not done so for me.
I read a few articles dating to 2010 saying that iPhone 3G could update to iOS 4.0, but when I try to update my 3G through iTunes or manually, it won't. So, I was wondering if it still could update the software.
I UPDATED MINE not knowing that itll be a big problem this phone my friend gave me is now useless, i feel bad about this it is my first iphone, and i thought uppgrading it will be better, now its totally useless, it is locked and cant even go to the apps, i never did a jailbreak cause i dont want it it was workin fine before, i hope apple support this kind os problem cause they are the one gave the updates so they shud support it, im not the only one who updated my phone and having problems, ive been up for hours just researchin on what to do, there are many users out there like me with the same issue. please do something apple e cant just sit and wait
I hit the "Reset All Settings" button on my Jailbroken 3.0 3GS and basically it would never reboot again (the Apple sign would repeatedly keep coming on but never actually reboot). So I put it into DFU mode and had to update it to 3.1.3. Good thing my last sync was September 8th, I'm definitely doing more syncs from now on. Anyways, will I be able to jailbreak again with 3.1.3 on a 3GS? I know the dev team is always coming out with new ones but I just wanted to make sure that this doesn't mean I'll ever be able to jailbreak again (basically I'm stuck without a jailbreak and really want one back, so I'm asking when's possibly the soonest it'll come out)?
I have updated iOS 5.1 and iphone 4s does not seems to be working, I tried my HomeSeer/HS Touch app and I see the Home screen for a sec, blinks to black, then to the Home Screen again, then back to black and so on
Trying to update my partners iPhone 3 with the latest software but iTunes is telling me that the latest software is 4.2.1 - even after I select Check for Updates.
Can I update an iPhone 3 to the latest software (5.1)?
I updated my iphone 4 from version 4 to version 5. Now I am not able to activate it. It says the sim card is not compatible. I would like to restore it to the pre-update status. How do I do that?
I have an iphone 3gs that's been working perfectly since I brought it. I recently updated to the latest software update and since then the phone keeps switching itself off after a couple of minutes, I cannot restore it as it don't stay on long enough is there any thing that can be done
I updated my g3 to iOS 5.1.1 today and am now unable to regular SMS texts, but can still send imessages. I tried reseting the network settings, reseting the phone, and have made sure that the SMS option is on in the settings... and still I can't send regular SMS.
i was just wondering is it possible to update the oldest iphone which is the iphone 3g to the latest ios? or is it only available on the iphone 4 and 4s. like google android, the os update is only for certain phones. im not sure about apple. so can i update an iphone 3g to the latest ios?
I have updated iphone from ios 4.3 to 5.0.1. After updating ios, the phone doesn't recognize sim and keep saying sim invalid. However there is no problem with sim and phone never been hacked (jailbroken).
