I live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
Recently, I began to have this problem where the phone is showing full signal but the phone is actually not receiving any signal. So calls will not come in at all.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhat do these Icons represent or mean, and the meaning when they change Colors from White to Blue (Status Icons). There was a GB 2.3.4 User Manual Posted on Moto's site, Unfortunately no information was included about these Items. What does it mean when all three are blue, Including the H+ icon having arrows beneath it at the same time? Is it also Possible to have the Intro Video Posted or embedded to this thread as well please.
View 15 Replies View RelatedAnyone else experience this? I did th sotware upgrade and a few hours later this happened. I tried manually connecting to the network and it wont. T-mobile asked me to send the phone back but there is a major scratch on the screen so they told me my return warranty was void now.So far I have a $400 paper weight. Anyone fix this issue?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had this twice now where I couldn't get a GPS signal. This never happened on my Droid 1, but has happened twice in less than 30 days (two different phones - since I replaced the first one when this happened). This has been in 2 completely different locations.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if anyone knows what algorithm is used for the signal bars on the Photon 4G. I have found that there seems to be no correlation between the signal strength (in dBm / asu) in Settings -> About phone -> Status and the signal bars that are shown. Often the signal bars will shoot from 1 to 5 or 6 even with really low signal ( ~97 to > 100 dBm) that doesn't fluctuate.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI read a few articles dating to 2010 saying that iPhone 3G could update to iOS 4.0, but when I try to update my 3G through iTunes or manually, it won't. So, I was wondering if it still could update the software.

I have TomTom UK running on my iPhone 4 which itself is running iOS 5.1.1.I have been having problems with the TomTom App keeping its signal locked in all weather conditons and even thinking I am on tottally different roads even when it was has a signal to start with.I then get the Poor GPS signal and can pretty much drive to work in 45 mins somedays without any signal lock and navigation.I know my route but use its HD traffic service to miss delays etc.I've deleted the software from the iPhone and redownloaded it and this hasn't solved the problem at all.

I updated my iphone4 to iOS 7.1.2 and after that, my phone started to lost the signal... from 4 bars to 3, 2 and nothing... I alredy tried to turn it on and off, i also tried to remove the sim card. and lastly, i tried to restore it to factory setting but it says that "there was an error".

I hit the "Reset All Settings" button on my Jailbroken 3.0 3GS and basically it would never reboot again (the Apple sign would repeatedly keep coming on but never actually reboot). So I put it into DFU mode and had to update it to 3.1.3. Good thing my last sync was September 8th, I'm definitely doing more syncs from now on. Anyways, will I be able to jailbreak again with 3.1.3 on a 3GS? I know the dev team is always coming out with new ones but I just wanted to make sure that this doesn't mean I'll ever be able to jailbreak again (basically I'm stuck without a jailbreak and really want one back, so I'm asking when's possibly the soonest it'll come out)?
