I got through a few hours ago on Apple.com and I got a confirmation e-mail, but is there anywhere on Apple's site where you should be able to confirm that they do in fact have the reservation stored?

when the apple site goes down, supposedly for an update or new product, how long does it stay down for? and when exactly? All I know is latee at night, at least here on the east coast.

Anyone have similar experience? I preordered 2 16GB Blacks on @ 5:15am yesterday. I received email confirmation on both Apple IDs I used, however, my store (Oak Brook, IL) does not show my reservation on the main website, but does confirm my reservation on the iPhone App? Is this sufficient backup to secure my phone on the 24th?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
My company surprised me with one so I don't need the one I purchased.

Not sure when and if they will change it but it is still online, so I am not sure when all the new products will be available.

the lady told me, just because I have a reservation for the phone, it doesn't guarantee me from getting the phone. I'd still have to go wait in the line. Even the people that don't have the reservation could be in front of me as long as they get there earlier than me.
AND, according to that "genius", Apple store don't give you discount on iphones even with you are suppose to get it with early upgrade. So, if you want to get an iphone from the store, you are paying full price.
I called-up my local Apple store and asked if they would be getting another shipment of iPhone 4s on Friday if they sell out on Thursday. The manager (who I was speaking with) said that they would probably get another shipment at the end of NEXT week. Can anyone confirm this with their local Apple store? I have been phone-less for about a week now and can't afford another week.

Me and my wife had purchased 2 cases at Best Buy. I saw a Retail Associate, I said mam, do yall have any cases for the iPhone 4? After picking my plan (I am an existing AT&T customer) it said can not pre order online please visit a store. Then let me pick from 3 local stores. I just received notice that the phones are in and I have until COB tomorrow (Friday) to pick them up. This was a no-committment on my part reservation - the Apple guy said pick them up if I want them, don't if I don't. I will probably just cancel these since I also and placed an order with AT&T on Tuesday. That order is supposed to be 7-10 days but now I'm wondering if the order from AT&T might come earlier than predicted.

I need to change my Apple ID in the App Store. I have it changed in SETTINGS>STORE. But when I go into the App store to buy or update anything my old e-mail address shows up for me to sign in with and it won't accept the password! Everyone keeps telling me to go into Settings>Store and that didn't work.
