I liked it better when I only had Apple apps on the first page, then the second page could be third party apps. Why can't we at least choose what native apps we want on our screen? May 11, 2012When I got the 4S stock with iOS 5.0 (gripes about the Apple-imposed limitations aside,) the phone was fine. Come 5.0.1, I think it was fine as well. When I updated to 5.1, however, it seemed to make touch less responsive and increased the latency. It was much more noticable when trying to utilize pinch to zoom. Often times in the browser or photo viewing, I'd pinch and nothing would happen and I'd have to try a second time or my input would be really delayed. I'm wondering if 1) anyone else noticed this, 2) if it's fixed in the recent release of 5.1.1 and 3) if anything else gets screwed up in the update. Because of this, I'm hesitant to update.

Aug 23, 2014I bought an iPhone 5s 16gb, and downloaded an app. Then my phone start bringing up issues so i decided to delete the app. After clicking on delete, my iPhone got stocked and show a white screen with the apple logo. So i waited and decided to reboot the hard way. All it does now is just reboot and goes to blue screen then reboot. All over and over again. Am frustrated, cause i bought this phone 4 days ago.

Jun 29, 2012I have an iphone 3gs and still have warranty on it. I don't talk on it much at all. I use the internet and text and listen to music. the most i use the internet is about 30-35minutes a day, sometimes less. I have everything turned off like Bluetooth and fetch data and even 3g. I can go probably 6 hours and do nothing to loose all of my battery. I literally watched my phone go from 90 to 79 in 30 min. just listening to music.

May 29, 2012I never had the battery drain problem with my iPhone 4S but recently over the past month at least my battery seems to have degraded abnormally quickly, not the battery drain some had, but as in its simply not holding as much charge anymore & I got it on Oct 26, 2011.. if anything I would guess its abound 82% of its total capacity ALREADY & going by Apple's battery tips on their site it should be at 80% total capacity after 400 charge/discharge cycles, im lucky to have gone past 140 of those at best (was trying to count then lost the count). I have always followed proper battery care tips, the once a month full charge/discharge, dont let it get hot, leave out of sun etc. I still have the regular warrenty till Oct 26, 2012, would Apple replace my battery for no charge? If so I would want to do this soon before the warrenty is up.. This is concerning after just over 6 months my battery has less capacity than my 3GS did after 1 year of use.. & im a light/moderate user.

Mar 20, 2012Three days ago, my iphone4s would last about 12 to 15 hours on a charge. Overnight, it dropped to three hours. This was Sunday March 18th. Did something happen that would cause this? I've restarted the phone several times. I havent changed any settings or changed my usage habits. I took the IOS 5.1 update over a week ago so that's not it.

Jan 28, 2010Earlier today, my iPhone ran out of charge and died, I plugged her in and got the battery symbol with the lightning bolt.but it never progressed from absolute bottom red.It only boots to that symbol (the only variation is whether it's plugged in or not, if not it gives me the 'plug in' symbol). I have tried hard resets, I have tried restoring the firmware, redownloading the firmware, changing usb ports, rebooting computers etc. When attempting a restore, it gets to the apple logo (preparing iphone for restore) but then fails. ONCE it got to the progress bar and failed.Any ideas? I am not and never have been jailbroken on this device. I don't want to take it back as it has data that I want on it.
Edit: I've tried leaving it on charge for hours on end.
Edit 2: Just got code 13. Trying another cable now. let's hope for the best (but i've tried this before)
Edit 3: Got error 1601. I am removing mobile device support and itunes. redownloading now.
