Nov 25, 2015I just picked up two new nokia icons off ebay.. it was listed as new at least.. came in a box etc..
If i plug it in to charge.. it charges at about 1% per hour if that.. turn the screen on and it drops several percent,. use it unplugged and it rapidly discharges maybe 15% or more in a very short period of time.
Im guessing i got a bad batch?
Its very odd that both phones exhibit the same behavior.. and just for kicks i left 8.1 on one and put 10 on the other.

Sep 7, 2012I have a Bold 9000 and it is draining the battery very quickly doesnt even last a few hours with a couple of calls and when its flat will only charge if I take out the battery and put in on a universal charger it wont charge with the blackberry mains charger, car charger or usb connection.I have bought two new batteries and all the same thing, turned off all applications I can see.The phone was bought new from an ebay seller in December and I cant get any response now from them and they are no longer on ebay.I have seen something about updating the system.

Replace the battery with an origional motorola battery." Also the battery symbol at top right of display is black, not green, and has a? mark in it. So is my wifes.I tried swapping the batteries and while my battery works perfectly in her phone, her battery in my phone gives the same errors.I then tried a master reset....Twice! May 10, 2010I have a jailbroken & unlocked (used RedSn0w) 3G running 3.0 that I want to upgrade to either 3.1 or 3.1.2 so I can run a couple of applications which require 3.1 or higher.
I've searched around and haven't found what I consider straight forward information. So my question is do I use the Pwnage tool to modify a 3.1.2 firmware and then restore from that, then use RedSn0w to unlock again?
If I use the Pwnage tool to create a custom IPSW, do I tell it to activate or not?
If TheLatinist has any tutorials/stickies on this, please let me know.

I currently have the iPhone 3G and of course lots of apps, videos, music, contacts and so on.
I pre-ordered the iPhone 4 for delivery, So, when the new phone arrives, do I sync my old iPhone 3G and then plug in the new iPhone 4 and restore from the iPhone 3G backup?
I am asking because I don’t want to screw-up the new phone when I get it.

I upgraded to a 4S from a 3GS, and I'm trying to unlock the 3GS after receiving the unlock eligibility confirmation email from AT&T, get "unable to activate" message upon restore. Also, have seen some threads about recieving a "unlock code via email" from AT&T - but I did not get such an email. My old 3GS does not have a SIM - its been a iTouch since the upgrade

Jul 5, 2012Like an idiot my iphone 4 got fully sumereged. I put it in rice over night, then took it apart, took out the battery and sim card, and let it dry out in the oven at a low temperature. I put everything back together and it works great, BUT, the battery will not charge. It has been plugged into the wall for an hour and still shows it's almost empty, and has been turning on and off. The warranty is over so I'm not worred about that, but what can I do now? Can I buy a new battery? Will it get better with time? I'm up for a new phone but the 5 is supposed to come out in October and I MUST HAVE IT. What can I do in the meantime??

Jul 12, 2010i usually charge mine from around 10-20% all the way to 100% and it has been fantastic......but right now i am charging mine and it's nearly 1am in uk and it's only on 71% and i dont think i can stay awake much longer......
I definitely dont wanna leave it plugged in overnight so i was wondering will i harm the battery if i take it out soon without waiting till it's fully charged? I obviously dont wanna make it less effective cos so far it's been awesome.
