Talked to an At&t assistent about unlocking my iphone 4 (3-04-2012).I was told that it would take about 7-10 days to get an answer on my mail from apple but... still waiting...Already done a restore hopping that it was done...Got a Case ID, how can i know the status of the request?

Has anyone talked to a rep at least and told that they are looking into it? Would be smart to just come out with a generic statement. "we are aware of the connection problems some users are having when hold the exterior of the phone and are working on a solution" would be nice to hear.

Could it be a virus? Should I format it ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI find the camera takes darker pictures, especially in low light, compared to Note 5 (underexposed perhaps? Not a photography buff at all . Also, the snapping pictures in general seems to be slower vs. Note 5.
I currently have both 6p and Note 5 and truly find the Note 5 to have an all-around better camera. 6p but bad by any means, but tough comparing to Note 5.
I've been seeing more lockups or apps (all apps) freezing for a minute or two.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a new Motoactv owner. Today is the first time I tried to sync my workouts and view them online. It takes a very long time to complete the sync (5-10 minutes). The first time it supposedly synced, my workouts were not uploaded to the site. When I log onto the website, that is also incredibly slow. Every link I click takes extraordinarilly long. When I try to view my work out, I get an error ("Internal Error has occurred..."), and it tells me to log out and log back in. But that doesn't result in anything different.

On most occasions, I press the unlock button on the top of my iphone4, the code screen will appear. I will enter my code. But there is a bug. The phone will jump back go the "slide to unlock" screen and I will have to unlock with my pin again! What do I do? It's not an urgent matter. But it is rather irritating having to repeat the process again an again.

I wanted toraise a request to unlock an iPhone with AT&T bought at a no commitment price (full price) though locked to AT&T and never used AT&T services (read; not a customer). When I contacted AT&T to unlock this phone, I was told to contact Apple since AT&T was not taking up such requests from non customers. Also the AT&T policy states that they will unlock phones bought for no commitment price. Is Apple in a position to identify no commitment price devices and unlock them?

A year ago I bought a iPhone 4 from Apple direct as I had a Sony Orange monthly contrct phone that broke and Orange would not replace the phone for me. So I made my normal SIM into a micro SIM and have used my Orange SIM in my iPhone for a year. My contract with orange is now at the end of its term and I have bought a Iphone SIM only Tesco 12 month contract deal.
The SIM arrived but when I put it in it states that there is "No Service" - now this has confused me as I thought if I bought the phone direct from Apple it would be unlocked - I can not call Orange and get an unlock code as the phone they have registered for me to use is a Sony phone?
I have tried doing a factory restore with my phone and logging onto itunes but Tesco (o2) is not listed as a provider?
How do I unlock it?
I need to get it unlocked at a shop but don't they just hack into it or I need to Jailbreak it but again I thought if I do this I will have problems with updates etc with the phone?
My contract with Orange is up so I phoned to get a PUC code and bought a sim only Tesco Mobile Contract. Put in the Tesco sim, mmm doesn't work but thought I had an already unlocked phone. Phoned Orange, yes they will charge me £20 approx to unlock it, will send the request to Apple and shoudl take up tp 20 days. Heard nothing from them so called them back 22 days later - the reply I got was they contacted Apple who have refused to unlock the phone as it is an unregistered device - ie not a paired device? They told me Apple have declined to unlock it as it is considered to be a non paired device. Orange have told me to speak to Apple and as I had given Orange permission to send the request on my behalf. Orange said when I bought it brand new it should of come with a sim - I said no it shouldn't cause I bought a brand new unlocked (or so I thought) phone. So now what do I do - do I phone Apple and pay the £25 incident charge and they will unlock it or if I pay it and they don't unlock it I loose £25 or do I go back to Orange and chase them again. The reason I bought it not direct from Orange as I broke my old phone while still in a years contract with orange and they would not let me upgrade and pay the difference for an iPhone, they told me they would repair my phone (which I told them would not be cost effective as I dropped it in the sea while canoeing!) hence why I bought a new phone - it is registered and have had no problems with it.

How do I stop apps from reloading every time I unlock my iPhone? I have an iPhone 4 and at least 95% of the time I unlock it, some apps act as though they are reinstalling. It only lasts for about 3 seconds if that but it makes me feel like something is wrong with it.
