Often I use Facebook in Safari as the Facebook app is fairly limited in what you can do, however, after I've left Safari, go back to it and click on a link, more often than not Facebook will revert to the mobile site instead of staying on the full website view. Have had a look on the forum and couldn't see anything.

I've been having a problem with my Safari browser on my iPhone 3GS. Whenever I visit a certain site (yes, it's a family friendly site) my Safari browser gets redirected to an advertisement for a not-so-family-friendly site. The phone is not jailbroken, and though it is connected to a wireless network, neither of my other computers are having an issue. I also disconnected the phone from the wifi and got the same results on Safari with the same site using my network provider. I cleared the cookies and history, then restarted to no avail. I even restored the phone to factory settings but no luck.

When I use my iPhone and safari to access the apple store an annoying pop up appears that tries to get me to download the apple store app. clicking the cross doesn't get rid of this and I can't navigate around the site properly. I don't want to download the app, my pop up blocker is switched on. how to surf around the site without this annoying pop up occurring.

A few weeks ago I started to get these annoying virus like pop ups at random times. It's usually when I unlock my phone. It will open to chrome to a Web page that looks like Facebook saying I won a prize. The latest Web page is androidmax.mobi. The Web pages change from time to time but always end with .mobi. I Googled for a fix but can't find anything. It also at other times when I unlock or just random times open the play store to different games. This is extremely annoying. I haven't installed any new apps lately either but to just be safe I've deleted everything I've downloaded in the past couple months and still comes up. I've cleared cache and data on the play store and chrome too. It seems to stop for a few hours but always comes back.

Then, a couple days ago I went to open chrome and a pop up came up saying I had a virus. I backed out of it, downloaded AVANT and it didn't find any issues.
