Yesterday I got shipping notification andthe delivery date on the FedEx tracking site was June 24th by 5pm.oday the date changed to June 23rd by 5pm!Possibly getting it a day early? I know they will probably hold it till the 24th, but why would the date change from 24th to 23rd?

View 15 Replies View RelatediPhone's being shipped by UPS will be delivered on the 24th iPhone's being shipped by Fedex will be delivered on the 23rd (It shouldn't matter if you ordered through AT&T or Apple.com) The only evidence to back this up is Apple's email to its customers claiming a June 23rd delivery, and all of these orders have Fedex as the carrier. This could mean that AT&T customers with Fedex as the carrier will also receive their iPhone's on the 23rd as well. Though for most AT&T customers there is no data for their tracking. EDIT- Some Fedex tracking information is showing a June 23rd delivery, on par with Apple.com orders. Fedex could be exclusively dealing with June 23rd deliveries while UPS is dealing with June 24th (Actual Launch Day) deliveries.

I ordered almost as soon as preordering started, jamming Command+R until the "Coming Soon" icon disappeared from the Apple website.There was no change in the order status from AT&T for a while, until (on the 20th) the status suddenly says "shipped" on the 18th. Weird.

However, other family members will be at the house. is it possible for one of them to sign for it or can i leave a note at the door for fedex man to leave it by the door? Just leave it outside my door at an apartment complex.Someone was home too and they didn't even knock or ring bell.Just leave package at door and leave. Luckily person home found it when they went outside. Not sure how long it was there. Important thing is I have it now Reception issue present and no yellow blobs.BTW.Much better luck with UPS here in Southern California. They leave package at leasing office vs just leave it outside and hope someone doesn't take it.

I got the email yesterday that told me my package will be delivered on the 23rd, but after seeing this, I doubt it will happen now.
I was just checking the status of my order and it said that it was on the fedex vehicle for delivery? Is anyone else having this? I am not at my delivery address because I got the email it was goingto be delivered tomorrow. I am on my iPhone typing this so I will try to post a screenshot when I get home. my time/date suddenly looks huge to me. Kind of jarring I think. I'm not sure if it's changed somehow, or if I've just never noticed before. Does this look like the standard size? Is there any way it may have changed??

I have bought a new nokia 5233 hand set a week back but IM facing a problem now.My phone is getting restarted and then the date and time is being changed automatically don't know why it is happening like HTH but the date is being changed to 2020 ,I have formatted my phone but the problem still persists. Once in a day the phone will switch off and switches on by itself and changes the time and date when it restarts .Anyone please suggest me anything to solve this problem Or should I contact nokia care about this problem

What is the best way to correct the dates? It would take a lot of time to change every single picture since there are around 150 pictures to be changed individually. Is this maybe a mistake of the media cache??
I have decided after reading all the threads that I will pre-order from Apple next Tuesday and now need to decide whether to have home delivery or in store delivery. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Ive heard that to home there may be activation issues and its better to be in store for troubleshooting but in store on launch day may be packed and I may have to wait I've heard that they have 2 different lines for walk ins and pre-orders is this true? If I send to store can I pick up anytime that day? How does apple ship their orders UPS.FedEx.Etc.Just want to get all the facts for both options if possible. This is my first time pre-ordering and just want to be prepared and make the right decision.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am like a bunch of you who's package has been stuck in Alaska for over a day...well to find out where it really is call fedex at 800-463-3339 and enter your tracking number in the automated system and it tell you where it really is. It told me mine is on the way to my zicode and will be delivered on the 23rd! So give this a try! It worked for me!

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo. I was tracking my package today and since I am at work and no one was home to sign for the package, I assumed that I would see a delivery attempt on the tracking page. However to my dismay, the phone was left on my front porch without release authorization. The tracking info says the following.Left at front door. Package delivered to recipient address - release authorized This unacceptable for two reasons. First, this would be easy target for thieves. Especially with the wide publicity of the iPhone launch. If I were a thief I'd be driving around residential areas and just swiping any fedex package that left on the front door. Secondly, today is an extraordinarily hot day and the temps are easily in the upper 90's. My porch is in direct sunlight, effectively making the box act as an oven baking my iPhone. So I ended up leaving work for an hour so that I can pick up the phone so it wouldn't bake in the sun for 5 hours. Angry as hell, I called Fedex to see who authorized the release. They said that Fedex reserves the right to release packages in residential areas without a release agreement on file to expedite deliveries because of possible volume issues. WTF! So am I being over-sensitive? Or do I have the right the be a little peeved? I'm actually pretty angry. Almost to the point where I want to call fedex or apple and say I never got the package. But I won't. I'm a good christian boy and never would do such a thing.

View 12 Replies View RelatedRight from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?

The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off.Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received
