I have been wondering why my Fedex tracking number provided by AT&T isn't working. Is there is problem here? I ordered almost as soon as preordering started, jamming Command+R until the "Coming Soon" icon disappeared from the Apple website. There was no change in the order status from AT&T for a while, until (on the 20th) the status suddenly says "shipped" on the 18th. Weird.
Related to the iPhone launch? http://www.fedex.com/us/update.html It looks like the tracking system for fedex is down. Quit checking your delivery status (I am included ) I think we killed it.
Yesterday I got shipping notification andthe delivery date on the FedEx tracking site was June 24th by 5pm.oday the date changed to June 23rd by 5pm!Possibly getting it a day early? I know they will probably hold it till the 24th, but why would the date change from 24th to 23rd?
I checked my fedex tracking numbers and one of my phones is to be delivered on the 23rd by 10:30! Any one else have a delivery date before the 24th? Now I'm hoping I will get it a day early!
Just recently figured out that if you get an e-mail with a tracking number for a package that if you hold your finger on the tracking number it comes up with a 'track shipment' option. However using this link takes you to the FedEx website.
I was just wondering if I can specify what website that link takes me to?
I recently had my Bold 9900 stolen/lost, although I have now purchased a replacement 9900 I want to try and track down my old one as it is not a cheap device. I still have all of the packaging of my first phone so therefore the IMEI / PIN etc. I have reported this to my provider (China Mobile) and I have a new account setup on my new device.I have sent a bbm request to my old phone hoping to get some contact but my joy, I am asking friends who have my old PIN as a bbm contact to try the new 'owner' as well. Is there any way I can find the mobile number of whoever is using my old phone so I can ring them? (I understand it may have been sold on but has only been 3 days since it was stolen/lost) or tracking the device? (I did not have any tracking software on the device at the time it was stolen).
My tracking number says left Oakland, CA yesterday around 4pm. I live in Petaluma, CA which is about an hour away. Was wondering if anyone north of the bay area has had theirs delivered by FedEx yet?
So I just went entered my iPhone tracking number to the FedEx website and looked at the info, and it's "in transit".But then I saw the estimated delivery time I was like what?"Estimated delivery Jun 24, 2010 by 4:30 PM "4:30pm? I never receive packages from them, is this like them? I always get my deliveries by UPS they're usually here between 9am-12pm. What's your estimated time say?
I have the iphone coming in the mail tomorrow via fedex from att.com and idk if im gonna be home to receive it. However, other family members will be at the house. is it possible for one of them to sign for it or can i leave a note at the door for fedex man to leave it by the door? If none of these are adequate, what are my alternatives if i wont be home?
I am like a bunch of you who's package has been stuck in Alaska for over a day...well to find out where it really is call fedex at 800-463-3339 and enter your tracking number in the automated system and it tell you where it really is. It told me mine is on the way to my zicode and will be delivered on the 23rd! So give this a try! It worked for me!
Got new iPhone today, but Fedex tried to give it away I guess. Just leave it outside my door at an apartment complex.Someone was home too and they didn't even knock or ring bell.Just leave package at door and leave. Luckily person home found it when they went outside. Not sure how long it was there. Important thing is I have it now Reception issue present and no yellow blobs.BTW.Much better luck with UPS here in Southern California. They leave package at leasing office vs just leave it outside and hope someone doesn't take it.
So. I was tracking my package today and since I am at work and no one was home to sign for the package, I assumed that I would see a delivery attempt on the tracking page. However to my dismay, the phone was left on my front porch without release authorization. The tracking info says the following.Left at front door. Package delivered to recipient address - release authorized This unacceptable for two reasons. First, this would be easy target for thieves. Especially with the wide publicity of the iPhone launch. If I were a thief I'd be driving around residential areas and just swiping any fedex package that left on the front door. Secondly, today is an extraordinarily hot day and the temps are easily in the upper 90's. My porch is in direct sunlight, effectively making the box act as an oven baking my iPhone. So I ended up leaving work for an hour so that I can pick up the phone so it wouldn't bake in the sun for 5 hours. Angry as hell, I called Fedex to see who authorized the release. They said that Fedex reserves the right to release packages in residential areas without a release agreement on file to expedite deliveries because of possible volume issues. WTF! So am I being over-sensitive? Or do I have the right the be a little peeved? I'm actually pretty angry. Almost to the point where I want to call fedex or apple and say I never got the package. But I won't. I'm a good christian boy and never would do such a thing.
I have UPS tracking from AT&T and I'm curious how many are getting their phones via UPS rather than Fed Ex? I've only ever gotten them Fed Ex from Apple/AT&T before, so this is new.
But Ive just started using an app to track my bike rides. I just start the app, throw my phone in my bag and forget about it till I get home. I've been turning off 3g as the gps alone is a battery hog, however does the 3g signal aid the gps using triangulation or something?
my phone was stolen on the weekend so we tried to track it on another iphone it located it the first day & then lost signal the next day how would that happen?
I'm just looking for a reliable app, preferably without a monthy charge, that will simply show me the location of my phone on a map. It doesn't have to be uber-accurate -- the closer the better obviously, but if I know its last-known location in a general sense (a mile or less), it's likely I'll remember where it could have been lost that day.I was looking at taptrace, and some others, but all the ones I've seen got mediocre reviews. iHound looks alright, but I don't like the whole monthly fee thing. Also, I'm not going to sign up for mobile me just to track my phone.
Itīs possible now to track your iphone without jailbreaking! Go to http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/latit...2&affId=972145 and install "latitudie". Itīs only 2 bucks!
It works with Google Latitude. First of all you need to activatie Google Latitude. You can do this on http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/latitude/intro.html .When you enable Google Location History you can see where your phone was. You can also see where your phone is at the moment.
I have a very limited data plan (100mb/month) and I need to be able to identify what apps or processes are consuming data in my iPhone. How can I do this?I have already reviews all my accounts and turned Push off, although that didn't significantly reduce data usage. Either way, the accounts are responsible for, AT MOST, 2 or 3mb/day considering new emails/new calendar stuff and whatever. I have a lot of Apps too, but I'm always worried to keep every "automatic sync" stuff OFF. I use an application called DataMan Pro to track usage data and keep my data consumption under control. But it does not tell me WHERE the consumption came from. Yesterday I went to check DataMan for my usage and I was surprised to find 9MB of usage and I did NOTHING yesterday, didn't use any apps like facebook, didn't check my emails, anything. Where did that come from?
I am responsible for approximately 20 iPhones for our business. Each person buys their own apps and syncs the iPhone to their own machine. I am interested in seeing if there is a way (either via Find My iPhone or some other method) to keep track of all of the phones under one account. We are trying to avoid making that the individual's responsibility, and make it so that one user (me) can locate any of the phones if needed. Or am I going to be forced to set it up 20 times with 20 different accounts, and then keep a master list of the usernames and passwords for each, so I can track each one should one go missing?
Does anyone who preordered for instore pickup have a tracking number that works? Mine says that it is not found. I preordered on the 15th at 8am at the store by my house and have received confirmation.
Suppose if my Iphone is stolen and the thief 'uninstalls' the "find my Iphone" software, then in that case what benefit does this particular app provide? Is there a way to not allow "Uninstalling" any particular app?
