Oct 14, 2015I used Ultra Power Saving Mode last night for about an hour. When I reverted back from that about half of my icons were missing including my stock Voicemail, YouTube, Yahoo Mail, all my games...etc.
Looked a little further into it this morning on Application Manager and the apps are still present on the phone and installed, but "Turned Off". If I tap on them, some have a button that says "Enable" (which appears to be all the pre-loaded apps that came with the phone) but most of them don't.
I've used Ultra Power Saving Mode as recent as two weeks ago with no problem.

IPhone :: 4 Not Staying On After Restoring?
May 5, 2012It just started yesterday. The phone would shut off randomly and then the only way for it to come back up is to plug it in. Sometime it complete shut off where I would have to turn it back on or plugging it would just go straight to the home screen. Now the phone wont go past the apple sign at all. I got to the home screen two times today and one time it it had no connection and lost service and then it came back and then it had no service again. So I turned it off to try and get signal again.
Eventually it came back on and the phone worked for about 2 minutes and then just complete shut off while still plugged in. I am now trying to restore it and it keeps shutting of mid restore and then I have to keep putting it back into DFU mode or however you spell it. The phone has the most up to date firmware but do I need to start the download over if the phone cycled randomly while it the download was still downloading from itunes or do I just put it back into that mode and let it continue downloading?

May 26, 2012I made a call this morning and then I put it in my back pocket. Ten minutes later when I was going to use it the screen would not come on. I thought it was turned off but it would not turn on when i held down the sleep button and when I called my phone it didn't go strait to voice mail so I know it is still on. I know it isn't dead becuase I fully charged it last night. When I plugged it in to the charger it didn't vibrated like usual. Also when I plugged it into my computer it wouldnt show up on iTunes. I'm at a complete loss of what to do.

It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â
I've had nothing but problems since I updated to the os7.

Apr 2, 2010Next couple of months I'll be staying in a house with no Internet access, yep it does exist. But I'll be in a built up area so should be 3G, anyway so plan to teether that. I've been looking at the options and a tenner a month seems alright. But you only get 3GB for that. But just a bit of internet surfing, IM, etc would that probably be ok? I know its easy to underestimate what you use. But not sure I'll have that much time to use it at any rate as at work I'll obviously use their internet, it's only when I'm at the flat! Also anyone used the o2 service, any good? Easy to set up?

May 7, 2012I thought this issue would have been fixed with the update but I guess not. I can stop the infared sensor from staying on constantly if I turn Siri's raise to speak feature on and back off, then restart the phone. But the problem must return with one or two more reboots of the phone, because I haven't turned it back on and now the sensor is stuck on again. Anyone know how to fix this issue? I hate having to put the phone in front of my webcam all the time to make sure the sensor isn't staying on.
