so i just got a email that Apple has refunded me for the Bumper I purchased a couple weeks back. although i used my paypal debit card and when i look on my paypal account i dont see anything refunded?
to the people who got refunded did it show instantly? i know it sometimes will be pending at first but still show. im wondering if the refunded funds have appeared for anybody else.
I saw Engadget posting that someone was able to do this in Europe, but I'm curious if they are doing that at all apple stores? Anyone tried yet?
View 24 Replies View RelatedI received the email below last night at 11:15 CDT. I was actually hoping I would have a choice between receiving a refund or getting another one for free. However, it appears they are automatically processing refunds on prior purchases.

Apple recently announced that iPhone 4 customers who purchased an iPhone 4 Bumper are eligible for a full refund.
As of today, we have automatically processed your refund.

I guess I' just end up getting the so called free bumper for 78cents, heck they probably still made a profit.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI returned my very new Nokia E72 to Nokia in November 2010 with a promise of refund as it would not function as advertised (checks only 2 email accounts out of my 8 and that is a breach of their fitness for purpose clause of the warranty) at any given time. Its almost March and still they have not sent me a refund check they had promised within 8-10 weeks. My frequent followup calls to Nokia Executive resolution / Retention department have always gone un-answered.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?

I have been suffering from the "deathgrip" antenna problems with the iPhone 4 since day one. I thought the bumper accessory would fix my issue, I can confirm that it does nothing for me. I am pretty frustrated right now, since I thought spending the extra $30 would hopefully fix it. No dice. I have no other ideas on how to fix this thing. Check out my video I made.URL...

But when I checked my order status my white bumper (ordered two days after the iPhone on a seperate order) had shipped and has tracking info but the iPhone isn't even prepared for shipping. Also they haven't charged me for the bumper.

I'm going to call and log a trouble call with them because while I'm glad that I can help the issue now, I don't feel it's right that I had to buy this.
I'm hoping they'll do something by either sending one out at no charge or reimbursing me with my receipt, etc. Either way, I can now make a call again in my house with no issues.
This is getting ridiculous. Now Apple basically got rid of all the bumper colors except for black. Black is the only color available for the "free case" program and no bumpers are for sale outside of that program. So I can't buy a different color even if I wanted to pay them $30 for it. They're effectively discontinued for now. I know they'll come back eventually (with the white iPhone) but for now it's "You can have any iPhone you want, as long as it's a black iPhone with a black bumper".
View 11 Replies View RelatedI phoned apple care, told them I had the antenna issue. He said he has to transfer me to his supervisor if it's about that. When the supervisor answered he asked me in detail how it happens. He got me to do it while I was on the phone with him. He said the reason for this is that he has to forward all the details to the engineering department.
He then said that even though it's a hardware issue, the engineering department are working on a software fix for next week.He said in the mean time he will send me a free bumper. However, he then said I might get the software fix before I receive the bumper, Monday prehaps?Apple are on top of this, even though jobs thinks its not an issue- it's clearly become one.
Anyone notice Apple's Bumper App showcases the white iPhone in it's photo gallery for the app on iTunes and IN the app itself.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAnyway, I have a one hr video clip which i need to transfer from iphone5 to my regular non apple computer.
Tried the following:
1) I tried to plug in and transfer directly but ironically, i cannot find that clip looking at the explorer folders.
2) I also noted i can't transfer large files even if i used that auto play to transfer pics.3) I tried itunes but looking at the sync function, it keeps asking me to sync pics from my computer (but i don't wanna sync pics from my computer. I wanna sync pics from my iphone TO my computer)...
why my apple id show has been disabled?
