IPhone :: Apple No Longer Shipping Any Other Bumper Color Besides BLACK?

This is getting ridiculous. Now Apple basically got rid of all the bumper colors except for black. Black is the only color available for the "free case" program and no bumpers are for sale outside of that program. So I can't buy a different color even if I wanted to pay them $30 for it. They're effectively discontinued for now. I know they'll come back eventually (with the white iPhone) but for now it's "You can have any iPhone you want, as long as it's a black iPhone with a black bumper".
So if I get a bumper, what color should I get?I really like the blue color, but is that too girly? I just think that color looks the best with the black iPhone.
So my pre-order thankfully went through and I checked the box for the $10 2-3day shipping even though I knew the free shipping option was overnight duh lol.
I was one of the fortune ones who secured new Iphone 4s for my wife and I. Pre-ordered through Apple got the June 24th date.I never got a confirmation email, and my CC has never been charged, but when I go to Apple Store website my order status reflects the two phones ordered each with a unique Apple order number.
For those of you who done the pre-order thing on launch day in the past, when do you expect CC to be charged and shipping status to change? Here is the text from Apple.com store order status page:

is the current ios4 that apple released the shipping version or will there be another gm coming by the end of this week. I'm confused because the last one released was a candidate.
I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
Assuming you choose a bumper and not a third party case, which one will you get? I really like the white bumper on the black iPhone but I am not so sure about the black bumper on the white iphone. I think I will probably choose the white one as my free one and maybe buy the blue or orange. What about you guys?
I did wonder this I mean were would we be now if apple never "fancied getting into the case market" what argument would of steve jobs brought up against the attennagate of friday?
Was the bumper in place for something to fall back on if it went screw up?Bring the iphone out with a problem no one knew about.Fix it with a bumper but make a few quid if customer don't notice!If they do dish them out for free!I seriously do wonder thats what the bumper is for to fix the problem as friday if you toke that away we could of seen nothing more then on offer than a refund!
I have been suffering from the "deathgrip" antenna problems with the iPhone 4 since day one. I thought the bumper accessory would fix my issue, I can confirm that it does nothing for me. I am pretty frustrated right now, since I thought spending the extra $30 would hopefully fix it. No dice. I have no other ideas on how to fix this thing. Check out my video I made.URL...
I just checked my bank account and it showed apple charged for my iPhone which is supposed to ship the 21st. But when I checked my order status my white bumper (ordered two days after the iPhone on a seperate order) had shipped and has tracking info but the iPhone isn't even prepared for shipping. Also they haven't charged me for the bumper.
Will Apple have some sort of registration thing on their website next week where you sign up for one and they send it to you like they did with the power adapters a couple years back? Will I have to go to an Apple Store for it? Or can I just go to the Best Buy I got my phone at and pick one up?
I can't get on Apple and pre ordered through AT&T.Is there a direct link on Apple.com to pre-order a bumper or was it part of the options when you pre-order the phone only?
So here is my original post from yesterday. Today I got e-mail confirmation from Apple.
Quote: Hey guys just got off the phone with a rep who was real nice. I explained to him I already bought a bumper for the signal issue and that anything they could do would be appreciated. I was put on hold and about 10 minutes later a supervisor came back on the phone and said that they would like to offer me a product from the apple store as compensation. He said that I would have to pick out something in the $75 price range, so I decided to pick the in ear headphones.
I think the biggest thing was that I was very polite and told them how much I have enjoyed the products over the years and that I was just a little annoyed with having to purchase a case to fix the issue.
Overall I'm really impressed and the people I talked to were great. I'll post my e-mail from Apple when I receive it as proof.EDIT: He also told me that another person would be calling either Monday or Tuesday to follow up on the issue.So yeah for those who didn't believe me here is proof.
so i just got a email that Apple has refunded me for the Bumper I purchased a couple weeks back. although i used my paypal debit card and when i look on my paypal account i dont see anything refunded?
to the people who got refunded did it show instantly? i know it sometimes will be pending at first but still show. im wondering if the refunded funds have appeared for anybody else.
Is anyone actually going to use their free case or are you going to list it on eBay as soon as you get it and use the money to get a REAL case whenever Contour decides to make their freaking Showcase case for the IP4?
I got back from my local Apple store with a black bumper and not a single problem now with the reception like I was having. I'm going to call and log a trouble call with them because while I'm glad that I can help the issue now, I don't feel it's right that I had to buy this.
I'm hoping they'll do something by either sending one out at no charge or reimbursing me with my receipt, etc. Either way, I can now make a call again in my house with no issues.
I phoned apple care, told them I had the antenna issue. He said he has to transfer me to his supervisor if it's about that. When the supervisor answered he asked me in detail how it happens. He got me to do it while I was on the phone with him. He said the reason for this is that he has to forward all the details to the engineering department.
He then said that even though it's a hardware issue, the engineering department are working on a software fix for next week.He said in the mean time he will send me a free bumper. However, he then said I might get the software fix before I receive the bumper, Monday prehaps?Apple are on top of this, even though jobs thinks its not an issue- it's clearly become one.
My 20 month old son picked up my father's brand new (2 weeks old) iphone 5S, and 5 minutes later we see he has somehow turned the screen completely black and white. No color remains. It is not the grayscale or the invert color options. He had just upgraded to iOS 8.1.1. How this happened? And how to get the color back?
My husbands iphone 5 is acting up. First screen is black and white-tried switching toggle in Accessibility but didn't do anything. Second his contacts keep disappearing and third the battery is dying frequently.
Haveing seen the explosion of threds about the iphone signal problem I cant help notice the amount of people willing to apcept a free bumper! are people out there heads?
Its a flaw at the end of the day and if apple admit to it will people find it that hard to give up there phone and apcept a free bumper? do we get free screws with the next purchase?
Does anyone have a nokia phone from years back with expess on covers? think the its the 3210 i had I lost the back and if you caught the little metal strip antenna with your hand it killed the signal and droped the call!

After I jailbroke my iP4, I've noticed that the boot/respring screen has an apple with a spinner on top with a couple lines of color at the top. Is anyone else getting this? It only does it for a few seconds.
I saw a few weeks back a picture of a white 920 with black accent color. I picked up the white 920 this weekend (I'm in the US) and I can't figure how to get the black accent color.
I performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
