I received the email below last night at 11:15 CDT. I was actually hoping I would have a choice between receiving a refund or getting another one for free. However, it appears they are automatically processing refunds on prior purchases.
The email:
Dear Apple Customer,
Apple recently announced that iPhone 4 customers who purchased an iPhone 4 Bumper are eligible for a full refund.
As of today, we have automatically processed your refund.
so i just got a email that Apple has refunded me for the Bumper I purchased a couple weeks back. although i used my paypal debit card and when i look on my paypal account i dont see anything refunded?
to the people who got refunded did it show instantly? i know it sometimes will be pending at first but still show. im wondering if the refunded funds have appeared for anybody else.
Got an automatic refund for iphone bumper I purchased from Apple retail store via credit on my credit card on 7/22. Paid 29.99 + 2.33 tax+ 32.32. They only credited me 31.54. Anyone getting credited less than what they paid?? I guess I' just end up getting the so called free bumper for 78cents, heck they probably still made a profit.
I got two separate e-mails overnight from Apple saying they had already automatically refunded me for my bumpers (I thought they would only refund one, but who knows. I have two bumpers and got two e-mails about refunds). I suppose this is "cool" of them to do, but I actually did NOT want a refund. I wanted a free bumper/case.
The thing is, I purchased my iPhone and bumpers with AT&T Rebate cards (pre-paid Visa cards), both of which expire at the end of this month. What in the world am I supposed to do if the refund doesn't get credited back to my card before the cards expire?
I was under the impression that the 30 day money back guarantee was from the moment Jobs announced it during the antenna conference. If they will not refund it, at least exchange it to see if the other one works better since there are some who claim theirs work perfect. In your experience with Apple costumer service, would they understand what I'm saying and offer me another one?
I already deactivated the storage I just want a full refund for the storage that I purchased and did not use. When I try and call apple they want me to pay for an answer.
Trust me, you won't. If you paid for a bumper you will get a refund. If you also ordered a bumper or case with the case app, that will either be cancelled or you will be charged for it.
Do you really think that Apple can't cross-reference these things to determine what you're actually entitled to? And SHAME on those who are bragging about how they are getting more than one, as if Apple wants them to have it.
I returned my very new Nokia E72 to Nokia in November 2010 with a promise of refund as it would not function as advertised (checks only 2 email accounts out of my 8 and that is a breach of their fitness for purpose clause of the warranty) at any given time. Its almost March and still they have not sent me a refund check they had promised within 8-10 weeks. My frequent followup calls to Nokia Executive resolution / Retention department have always gone un-answered.
I recently purchased this game: [URL] which is similar to the cards game named Spades I have a Bold 9900, and it was available for me on appworld so I assumed that it should be compatible with my handset.However, the screen size is not set for the 9900 /9930 the game appears in the top left corner and the rest of the screen is all white. I emailed the company but no reply, I Even called them Internationally to Jordan and the employee said he would pass on my message but nothing happened.I just noticed all the users who purchased this game are complaining in their reviews. How do I get Appworld to give me a refund for this game and more importantly to delete it from my apps list in Appworld I don't want to ever see it again as "Uninstalled" .
i sent emails and done live chats. They said someone will be emailing me shortly. But they are dodging my emails and keep going around in a circle in there chats.
I will be getting the iPhone sometime as I need to save up a couple more weeks. So then I get no free bumper? I don't understand why apple is not giving free?
I haven't been able to find much in the way of impressions or pictures. Wondering if it docks with the bumper on, and if not, then how easy is it to take on/off. Is it bothersome to have it on?
Some people are salivating at the thought of getting a free bumper from Apple. Others think that the bumper is and ugly and wouldn't want it even if free. Some say the real problem has nothing to do with the antenna- it is the proximity sensor. What do you REALLY want from Apple?
So if I get a bumper, what color should I get?I really like the blue color, but is that too girly? I just think that color looks the best with the black iPhone.
For all you iphone users, how long did it take for your free bumper case to arrive? My phone is butt naked and im freaking out whenever people oggle it. The iphone bumper app said it would take 1-3 weeks for the case that I want to ship out.
