Jul 1, 2010I'm thinking of selling my 3GS in order to upgrade to iPhone 4. The only hitch is, I don't want to get stuck without a phone in-between. know if there is a decent supply of devices for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores? I tried calling my local one tonight, but got left on hold. They were probably swamped due to iphone mania.

I don't use stocks so removing them like I can with 3rd party apps would be ideal. to restore them just plug the phone in to iTunes and from the app tab drag the system icon over to the phone.

Jun 15, 2010So, I am based in UK and managed to "Reserve and collect" a 32gb iPhone 4g. However, on my confirmation e-mail, at the bottom, it says:
Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your reservation is valid for pick-up only at the Apple Retail Store that you selected. If you do not collect your selected item on the specified date, your reservation will be cancelled and the item will be returned to stock.
My dilema is it's going to take me 2+ hours and lots of expense to get to the store on the 24th, the last thing I want to do is turn up at lunch time (about when i'd finally arrive) to find out they've sold mine / sold out.

Jun 29, 2012I was using App Store of country A for a very long time and now changed to country B (same ID). The change via itunes on my Mac was easy and I directly saw the items of the new store. Nevertheless the store on the iPhone does not change accordingly. I have tried everything, changing stores, restart, changing languages etc. but the change does not happen.

Jun 14, 2010I gave my info to a local Radio Shack rep to call me when she had more info on preorders and while it is in the news everywhere that Radio Shack, Best Buy and ATT are going to be taking orders, this person claims no one is.
She claims she just got out of a meeting with her regional manager who just finished speaking with their corporate team and Apple. No stores are allow to take "PRE ORDERS!" What they are doing is giving out a unique number to each customer generated supposedly by Apple which puts you in a line to get one at that location and determines how many are sent to each location.
Can anyone verify this info? It sounds like BS to me but bottom line she isnt taking preorders!

Apr 21, 2012I can not connect to itune Store since I changed my iphone 3s to 4s. I have no problem downloading apps but I just could not update apps. Once I click updates apps, the error promts me "Can not Connect to iTune Store".
