From last year? I hope they bring it back this year, it's a good way of seeing if an Apple store near you has any iPhone stock or not, and states all the models too.

The only hitch is, I don't want to get stuck without a phone in-between. know if there is a decent supply of devices for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores? I tried calling my local one tonight, but got left on hold. They were probably swamped due to iphone mania.

Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your reservation is valid for pick-up only at the Apple Retail Store that you selected. If you do not collect your selected item on the specified date, your reservation will be cancelled and the item will be returned to stock.
My dilema is it's going to take me 2+ hours and lots of expense to get to the store on the 24th, the last thing I want to do is turn up at lunch time (about when i'd finally arrive) to find out they've sold mine / sold out.
I want to delete an Apple ID but can't remember old password. Apple asks if I want email verification. I say yes. No email. Did this 10 times!Â

i have a 4.0.2 straight from the apple store. I've been reading that its still possible to JB by downgrading to 4.0.1, however, you would need to save your SHSH blobs first. The problem is that this phone has never been JB'd before. So are the blobs specific to a firmware? Or are they just specific to your phone? Will it be possible to get the blobs using umbrella tool, then just download 4.0.1 pointing it to the cydia server then install and sign 4.0.1 that way? Or am i screwed for now?

I'm guessing that they will probably sell out the morning of the 24th. Do the Apple stores get to replenish their stock daily ...a couple times a week ... once a week?

The manager (who I was speaking with) said that they would probably get another shipment at the end of NEXT week. Can anyone confirm this with their local Apple store? I have been phone-less for about a week now and can't afford another week.

I went in to the Fair Oaks Apple Store in Fairfax, VA to get on the waiting list since I had heard that was faster than online and they had a bunch in stock. Bought my wife a 32GB iPhone 4. Took all of 10 minutes.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI placed two iPhone 4s (32gb) on reserve at the Apple store last Friday evening. They estimated it would be approximately 2 weeks before they came in. I just received notice that the phones are in and I have until COB tomorrow (Friday) to pick them up. This was a no-committment on my part reservation - the Apple guy said pick them up if I want them, don't if I don't. I will probably just cancel these since I also and placed an order with AT&T on Tuesday. That order is supposed to be 7-10 days but now I'm wondering if the order from AT&T might come earlier than predicted.

I don't use stocks so removing them like I can with 3rd party apps would be ideal. to restore them just plug the phone in to iTunes and from the app tab drag the system icon over to the phone.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a 3GS running OS 4.0 jailbroken with Pawnage tool. Everything seems normal except that iTunes is acting really weird when I try to synch my apps.When I plug my phone into iTunes and click on the "apps page", instead of seeing a screen shot of my iPhone showing all of the apps I have installed, iTunes shows a blank page. The wallpaper of my phone is displayed, but the rest of the phone is completely blank (no apps, not even the default apps or dock apps like the phone, iPod, email, SMS, calendar, etc). When I tried synching my phone, iTunes rearranged all of my paid apps in alphabetical order. I then rearranged them and tried synching again, only to find the iTunes had put them back into alphabetical order again. ITunes wouldn't recognize any of the folders that I created either. Each time I synched the phone, my folders would be deleted.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I read this article on MacWorld where the guy reviewing iOS 4 (and those who left comments) had the same problem with their stock (unjailbroken) iPhone so, I think its a iTunes problem as opposed to a jailbreak problem.
From MacWorld article: "I did experience one issue where, after creating a number of folders in iTunes, and then syncing my iPhone with iTunes, all the folders disappeared and my apps were rearranged (on the phone) in alphabetical order—an incident that required quite a bit of time and effort to recover from."

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo deiced to call and voice my concerns to Verizon. I didn't think they would care but like most people from this Forum .Im a little irritated that after I bought and paid for a 7 month old phone it already can't be upgraded anymore.
So I called Verizon to see what my options were. The guy insisted on telling me that they weren't sure whether or not OS6 was going to be available for the S2, I said it can't unless they make a lite version of it. He said well Verizon always blesses off on their own software. So he basically told me to sit tight and said there is hope for OS6.

It says that V20 is the latest firmware. Does anyone know when V21 frimware will be available for the above model number. Also as an after-thought, If I run the NSU software and connect my phone, is there a chance that V21 will be available.
