Jul 14, 2010I have iphone 3GS 16 GB, currently on 3.1.3, jailbroken by spirit and unlocked. It is one month old only. I noticed that the battery drains so fast (3 hours of listening to music through earbuds and 30 minutes of wi-fi and that's all, I have truned wi-fi off, push notifications off, location off, EQ off etc). Since this battery life is not typical for iphone 3GS, I am planning to get it checked by Apple. But an employee there told me they will not touch it as long as it is jailbroken. I downloaded 3.1.3. and tried to make restore through itunes (click restore while holding shift and browse to 3.1.3) but it does accept and it gave me error # 3194. itunes asked me to upgrade to iOS 4.0 but I don't want to do it now becasue I know there is no jailbreak. So, is there anyway to un-jailbreak and restore to 3.1.3 so that it can be checked by Apple?

I tried restoring back to 3.1.2, but iTunes gave me an error saying that the iPhone is not eligible for that requested build. Is it possible for me to upgrade to 3.1.3 then rejailbreak? Sn0wbreeze says it'll jailbreak 3GS at 3.1.3 with the old bootrom and non-MC. I got my 3GS around when it came out. Does upgrading bring me to a new bootrom?

Mar 18, 2010so I used snowbreeze to create a custom jailbroken 3.1.3 firmware for my 3Gs. i put my iphone in recovery mode and did the restore. It restored sucessfully except my iphone is stuck at the apple logo. I've tried doing it in DFU mode and i can't even do the restore because i get a error 1600 message. so right now my iphone is completely unusable.

I expected to see a 3G so I reset the system and still received an "E". So my deduction is that the Hotspot will not work without a 3G signal.

Jul 29, 2010I have a 3GS running OS 4.0 jailbroken with Pawnage tool. Everything seems normal except that iTunes is acting really weird when I try to synch my apps.When I plug my phone into iTunes and click on the "apps page", instead of seeing a screen shot of my iPhone showing all of the apps I have installed, iTunes shows a blank page. The wallpaper of my phone is displayed, but the rest of the phone is completely blank (no apps, not even the default apps or dock apps like the phone, iPod, email, SMS, calendar, etc). When I tried synching my phone, iTunes rearranged all of my paid apps in alphabetical order. I then rearranged them and tried synching again, only to find the iTunes had put them back into alphabetical order again. ITunes wouldn't recognize any of the folders that I created either. Each time I synched the phone, my folders would be deleted.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I read this article on MacWorld where the guy reviewing iOS 4 (and those who left comments) had the same problem with their stock (unjailbroken) iPhone so, I think its a iTunes problem as opposed to a jailbreak problem.
From MacWorld article: "I did experience one issue where, after creating a number of folders in iTunes, and then syncing my iPhone with iTunes, all the folders disappeared and my apps were rearranged (on the phone) in alphabetical orderan incident that required quite a bit of time and effort to recover from."

Ovi Maps does not provide voice navigation. Java is not supported so such brilliant apps such as the Opera browsers can not be installed onto it. PC suite is not yet available it the phone. So at first glance it is a great phone that could match the IPhone, but more work needs to be done to it to make it the all singing and dancing phone that Nokia needs it to be. Oct 19, 2011I've been using a Nokia E71. One fine day the phone switched off & it didn't start. As good Nokia customer I only trusted Nokia care outlets ( Nokia Care - Satya Telecare, 229 Chittaranjan Avenue, Near Girish Park Metro Station, Kolkata - 700006). After rectifying the problem, they told me that the phone had another problem of battery warming. After two days they again informed me that the handset have a network detecting problem. Its been 12 days now they have not been able to rectify the problem, also they are unable to tell me as to when the problem can get rectified. Even more, they dont communicate. When I visit the Nokia care outlet, I am made to wait for more than an hour each time.

I did the AT&T process and I got the email from AT&T saying that I can unlock it by doing the restore. Now when I do that I do not see the unlock screen and using tmobile shows SIM Failure. During the process I gave AT&T my phone number which I use on a blackberry and not the iPhone. Does it matter that when I restore the iPhone, the SIM inside has to be of my phone number that I gave AT&T? Or it should unlock no matter if I use any sim (even tmobile) during the restore?
