I wasn't sure how to phrase the title so... I will be visiting the US soon and I was wondering whether I can enter apple stores and just buy the iphone without contract and anything, even tough I am not American?
Is there any other places that non American citizens can buy from the iphone4? BestBuy maybe?
Is it still possible to buy an Iphone 4 in a Apple store (or other stores?) without signing a contract? If then, where, and how much does it cost? (16GB's whats interesting).Btw, is it still low stock on the Iphones everywhere? If so, is it possible somewhere to see what stores got em in stock etc?

I'm on a family plan, but not as the primary account holder. Does the person who is the primary account holder have to be there in order to purchase a phone? I think the biggest thing was that I was very polite and told them how much I have enjoyed the products over the years and that I was just a little annoyed with having to purchase a case to fix the issue.
Overall I'm really impressed and the people I talked to were great. I'll post my e-mail from Apple when I receive it as proof.EDIT: He also told me that another person would be calling either Monday or Tuesday to follow up on the issue.So yeah for those who didn't believe me here is proof.

I would rater not call obsessively, it would be both bothersome for me and I would be a nuisance to the stores.
