Its a flaw at the end of the day and if apple admit to it will people find it that hard to give up there phone and apcept a free bumper? do we get free screws with the next purchase?
Does anyone have a nokia phone from years back with expess on covers? think the its the 3210 i had I lost the back and if you caught the little metal strip antenna with your hand it killed the signal and droped the call!

I will be getting the iPhone sometime as I need to save up a couple more weeks. So then I get no free bumper? I don't understand why apple is not giving free?

a few weeks ago i saw somebody who got a free bumber by complaining to apple. Supposedly it solves the problem. I went to the apple store and what they tell me is ridiculous. buy a bumper im NOT going to buy a piece of plastic that cost 60 cents to make in china. FU&K that. or Return the iphone. Thats out of the damn question i love the damn phone i spend hours waiting in line. So if anyone can help me find that free bumper people have been getting for the issue that would be great. View 19 Replies View RelatedJust an FYI for anyone still wondering on these ship times. My original order, placed the day they announced it, said it would not ship until the end of August. I just got an e-mail from Apple stating my order shipped, and will be delivered by August 3rd. Cool news, but I probably won't even use the thing as I don't appear to have any reception issues, and really like the look of the naked phone. The only real reason I'm thinking of using it, is to help protect the back a bit when setting it down on certain surfaces.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI phoned apple care, told them I had the antenna issue. He said he has to transfer me to his supervisor if it's about that. When the supervisor answered he asked me in detail how it happens. He got me to do it while I was on the phone with him. He said the reason for this is that he has to forward all the details to the engineering department.
He then said that even though it's a hardware issue, the engineering department are working on a software fix for next week.He said in the mean time he will send me a free bumper. However, he then said I might get the software fix before I receive the bumper, Monday prehaps?Apple are on top of this, even though jobs thinks its not an issue- it's clearly become one.
I will be going to Birmingham UK in September (currently I live in Germany) and I will be buying an iPhone 4 at the apple store there, I was just wondering how I could get my free bumper/case from Apple. Has anyone done this and how did you get your bumper.

View 24 Replies View RelatedTrust me, you won't. If you paid for a bumper you will get a refund. If you also ordered a bumper or case with the case app, that will either be cancelled or you will be charged for it.
Do you really think that Apple can't cross-reference these things to determine what you're actually entitled to? And SHAME on those who are bragging about how they are getting more than one, as if Apple wants them to have it.

Do you guys think I'll have luck within the next couple of days if I check with the stores each morning? here is the solution:
just simply boil your bumper case in water for 3mins now put back your snug beautiful case on iphone 4 and enjoy.
EDIT: just a tip. if the case floats, thats the sign remove it.
