My iphone has lost Audio and Audible Click sounds when receiving Calls / Messages etc. Though the ringer volume is at Max, no sound is emanating from the device. What could be the reason ?

I am planning on purchasing a Photon this weekend. I was wondering is the loss audio with phone calls happening to everyone or is it just a select few people having the problem. Also the random reboot is this happening to everyone or just a few phones?

Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
I upgraded to the X 10 Mini last Sunday. initially I recieved audio when recieving a call or text message. However this is no longer the case and it only vibrates. It does work via headphones. I have re-installed Android 2.1 but no difference.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just had trouble today with my torch, all of a sudden my incoming call audio does not work if it's handset mode but if it's in speaker mode I can hear the caller but audio transmit is not possible, the person at the other side cannot hear me when the phone is in speaker mode, i have to put into handset mode but in any case, there is obvious problem on the receiving/outgoing side.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI plug in my headphones, fire up either spotify or GPM (more prevalent and noticible w/ GPM), start a song, lock screen, go about my business. From here, there is no noticible drop in sound quality...until I wake my screen. As soon as the screen wakes the audio quality and volume increases. Better lows, crisper highes, etc. It's not killing my experience, but I can notice it so of course it bothers the geek in me and I've gotta figure out what's going on. Is boomsound not activating?

Does that mean even mp3's that you already have like I do? How do I make these 3 work as Ringtone, Alarm and Alert on iPhone 4? NOTE: I don't actually have the phone yet and do not know how it interacts with iTunes, but I do have iTunes setup and music/movies loaded into it.

My phone will vibrate, but does not audibly ring. The silent switch is not set, If i go into the settings menu, the ringer menu files are missing.
All other sounds work flawlessly, music plays, keyboard clicks away and voicemail, and text alerts come through, it's just the ringer that's problematic.

I'm trying to silence just the ringtone but when ever I do that on the sound menu it silences all other noises such as notifications and system sounds. Is there any way I can just make it to silence the ringtone but leave all the other sounds? Besides just using a silent ringtone?

I just bought my Samsung galaxy s6 edge 5 days ago it's been working fine up until today. When I received a text message it didn't make the sound so I thought my phone was on vibrate or silent but it wasn't so then I went to settings and checked my notification setting and when I clicked the sound it didn't make a sound. So then I checked if I could hear the ringtone and I also couldn't hear. Mind you the volume is all the way up. So I decided to restart my phone and the sound worked gain but after a while the sound went away again and idk what is causing it.

Randomly, my default ring tone, messenger notification, or gmail notification will change, either to no tone, or just a single repeating beep. When I check the settings, the selected sound ends up being a 5 digit number. For example, my messenger tone is now 53918, no sound plays. Annoyingly for messanger, it will change the notification for all my conversations to 53918. So even if I change the default, all active conversations keep the "number sound."

I am willing to use a loose definition of music to include Kylie, 50 Cents as well as K3 but for the love of God I cannot regard the no doubt popular tracks "Skype" or "SkypeIM" as music.Is it possible to restrict the location where Music library is looking for material to the location of locations where I, or whatever Ovi/Nokia application is installed, stores its music?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again. Why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back.

Ever since then whenever I get a text message I have been getting my standard text ringtone as well as my default notification sound.Not sure at all how to go about fixing this. Looked in settings but to no avail. Tried resetting phone but didn't do anything.I found out through some trial and error that the thing causing the text notification ringtone and the default notification to both ring is having vibration turned on for texts. Turned it off and the problem is resolved.

I looked at some other audio files in my inbox and saw that some of them did have "Save as Ringtone" and "Set as Caller ID." Is this because of the file type? The only file that seems to work is an mp3. The file I sent was an mp3, but my phone is telling me it's an aac. Are there any other file types I can send it as? I attached the ringtone.

My 920I Galaxy S6 has stopped receiving calls, either if I am using the phone or it is locked I won't receive any call, I have to restart my phone to get the messages of missed calls and call them back. I tried many different modems, bootloader, roms and firmwares and nothing has worked. Also, I tried both on WIFI and 3G/4G and it doesn't work.
