Mar 20, 2010Brilliant phone, everything I need, a bit of a learning curve but as a business alternative to the Blackberry and Iphone I cant think of much else I'd need, and at £10-£10 a month cheaper it's got to be a worthy contender up against the other two if you can do without the fancy bells and whistles which I dont need
However I need to import a load of contacts from an excel file and Outlook, and I'm struggling to find out how to do this, can anyone put me in the right direction?
Also I'd like to use it with an external keyboard for those times when I'm in a hotel and some more lengthy emails to send, the onboard keyboard is very good, but fiddly for extensive use.
Also is there a headset with single earpiece and mouthpiece? My kids use a similar device on their x-box, it'd be useful where I have to make a succession of phone calls, the supplied headset is basic and I dont like the two little earpieces for extended work
Also can anyone recommend a basic CRM for the E72, I think the range of apps is very limited and if this is going to challenge the BB I think some more business orientated apps, not necessarily complicated, but Nokia recommended would be really useful. I've seen some CRM's suitable for the E series but no idea how good/bad they are, there seems to be very little user-reviews on them.

Oct 1, 2011My son was playing with my blackberry 8900 phone and when I got it back it would not ring when someone called me and the external speaker would not work when I tryed to listen to them on it. Tryed full reset by removing the battery but, no good , still had same problem.

Feb 7, 2013I dock my Razr HD (JB 4.1.2) to my genuine Motorola car dock, my music will automatically route to the car speakers, which is what I want but for incoming and outgoing calls the audio goes to the phones external speaker by default. I can touch the speaker button that then routes the audio to the car speakers but how do I make call audio route to the car speakers by default and not the phones external speaker?

Apr 30, 2011I just sent myself a ringtone, but couldn't find the option to save it as a ringtone, only to play it or save it as a sound. I looked at some other audio files in my inbox and saw that some of them did have "Save as Ringtone" and "Set as Caller ID." Is this because of the file type? The only file that seems to work is an mp3. The file I sent was an mp3, but my phone is telling me it's an aac. Are there any other file types I can send it as? I attached the ringtone.

Tried the following:
1) I tried to plug in and transfer directly but ironically, i cannot find that clip looking at the explorer folders.
2) I also noted i can't transfer large files even if i used that auto play to transfer pics.3) I tried itunes but looking at the sync function, it keeps asking me to sync pics from my computer (but i don't wanna sync pics from my computer. I wanna sync pics from my iphone TO my computer)...

Then, if I wait it out (about 30 min) it will tell me that several of the files are not a supported format (JPG TAKEN ON THE FREAKING PHONE ITSELF).

Apr 29, 2015So i ran into a issue last night that could be a big problem for me down the road. I recorded a 15 sec video clip on my son saying something cute. I tried to text it to my sister (who has an iPhone) but it wouldnt attach. It said file is too large. a 15 sec video is too large??? It wasnt even on the highest setting (4K). It was on the default HD. I went into the details of the video and it was 29mb. Luckily I still have my iPhone 6 so I grabbed that, recorded my son again (of course it wasnt as good as the first time) and sent it to my sister via iMessage with no issue at all.
This may seem like a minor thing to some but the fact I cant text a 15 sec video clip to my family is ridiculous. I couldnt even email it. I love my S6 for the most part but for little things like this I can see why people prefer iOS. So my question, Is there a way to compress a video to send it via text? I did this all the time with my iPhone not only to other iPhone users but users on other platforms as well.
