Can anyone tell me if it is possible to import a sound on my memory card so that i can use it as the Alert tone for when i receive a text message. Am i stuck with the ones that are preloaded on the phone (they are pants!) or do i have to go on the web and buy one specifically for the X10?

Just bought this phone 2 days ago, and it's not possible to set smstone and ringtone loudness separately, like it is on my previous phone LG G2. When I set the tone so I can hear my ringtone, the smstone is way to loud. And if I turn it down so the smstone is not loud, I can't hear when my phone rings.

If we happen to be listening to music using earphones and later unplug the earphones, the phone loses all sound capability. I recently upgraded from the S3 to the S5. It seems that the alarm volume and the ringtone volume are directly linked. As in, if my ringtone is set to mute, my alarm wont sound.
I haven't been able to figure out a way to bypass this. I'd like to have my alarm sound even when the ringtone is set to mute or vibrate.

I have noticed that my ringtones and alarms play at a lower quality than they did before.My first thought was that my speakers were damaged and affecting the sound quality, but when I play music and even my ringtones in the media player the quality is as fine as ever. When I went into the sound profiles (I have mine at "normal"), the old settings were still applied, however, when I checked out my contacts, they had all been set to another tone. I usually have them set at "gung **" but all my contacts had been changed to "sanguine".When checking the ringtone for my calls, I noticed that all my contacts had been changed to "classic ringtone" when the sound profile I had my phone on had a custom ringtone.
I don't mind that the texts ring a different sound but I really can't stand the classic ringtone sound so I wanted to know if anyone can help me with this? My phone seems to be working find except for that part. I tried a battery pull already..no help. I read somewhere that I might have to delete all my contacts and put them in again with custom tones for each person, but that seems like a huge waste of time. Help, please!

This happens with no error message or notification. The phone think it's playing media and allows me to adjust the media volume but there's no sound (speaker or earphones).
