Xperia Z5 :: Setting Sound SMS And Ringtone Loudness Separately
Oct 13, 2015
I don't understand why my smstone is much louder than my ringtone. Just bought this phone 2 days ago, and it's not possible to set smstone and ringtone loudness separately, like it is on my previous phone LG G2. When I set the tone so I can hear my ringtone, the smstone is way to loud. And if I turn it down so the smstone is not loud, I can't hear when my phone rings.
I have an N79 handset and I'm thinking of upgrading it to N86.The problem is that some people say that the nokia n86 sound is way low (I'm not sure about that) but I didn't reach a comparison between the N79 sound loudness and the N86 sound loudness. Can someone tell me which handset has a better sound quality and loudness? I need a really quick reply.
The sound of c6-00 is so worst that i need to check my cell after avery few mins to knw my calls & sms.. Earlier i was using n73 which had no such problems.. Unfortunately i lost it somehow which lead me to buy c6-00 but now i m having a worst time while using the cell... I wish that nokia administration could find a way to fix the biggest problem of the loudness of of sound on c6-00..
I have had my new Sony Z5 for 3 weeks, and I was wondering if I could set a different ring tone for the Kik app, on my old iPhone I could set different ring tones for different apps...
I have just purchased my X10 no more than a day ago and find that when talking to someone the ear piece volume is not very loud. I have set the volume setting to max and its still very faint and hard to hear.I also find the Ring Tone Volume is not very loud, even after setting it to max.I have confirmed the Firmware is the latest version, just as a process of elimination.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to import a sound on my memory card so that i can use it as the Alert tone for when i receive a text message. Am i stuck with the ones that are preloaded on the phone (they are pants!) or do i have to go on the web and buy one specifically for the X10?
Ray has very low ringing volume, even @ full volume level(7) it can't hear from next room. I miss lot of calls due to low ringing sound....since the speaker is @ bottom, it may also a reason.
my xperia mini pro (built 4.0.2.A.0.62) doesn't play ringtone on incoming call (sometimes it plays only 2 seconds), all sound set correctly (not in silent mode), I tried to call from another phone, there was incoming call but no sound, I can answer it, everything is fine only no ringtone sound. Any solution?
I've created and synced a ringtone I'd like to use for my WhatsApp notifications, but when I open the notification settings within the app, only basic tones are displayed and none of my own ringtones. Is there any way this can be fixed or should I wait for an update of the app?
I have just got a 5230 as my N95 finally gave up and I have managed to transfer everything and set up the 5230 as I want it apart from the ringtones. I just cant set a song as a ringtone on my nokia 5230 it says file is protected but it plays in the music player. All songs I have downloaded have been purchased from Nokia music store and transfered to the 5230 via usb cable as I realised that doing it via bluetooth doesnt transfer the licences aswell so I re did all that. they are the same songs that I had set as ringtones on my N95 with no problems, what am I doing wrong?
Trying to set my own music to ringtones and its not working. Tried converting to wav file and shortened to 30 seconds that didn't work, converting shorter version to mp3 didn't work. How do I make it happen? I have a W518a.
Until a couple of days ago my blackberry message tone used to beep twice when a new message was received, and the ringtone would continue ringing until answered/gone to VM. Now it will only beep/ring once. (My daughter was playing about with phone so not sure if she has managed to change a setting). How do I amend the number of time phone beeps/rings?
On the Galaxy S2 even though the ringtone volume is set to max, initially it starts off quietly and gradually increases in volume. Is there any way of changing this to ring at a constant level instead of starting quietly and gradually getting louder - the number of calls I've missed because of it.
I added a custom ringtone to a contact but the ringtone only works when the contact calls me. But when he texts me the ringtone is the same as the other contacts and I don't know how to make the msgs stick with the custom ringtone of the contact.
I've noticed that in hangouts, I've set an individual custom ringtone for someone, and every single time I reboot my phone, it resets that particular ringtone to the stock ringtone that I have set.
I receive calls to my Google Voice Number in Hangouts (I only have a Data Plan/No Cellular Voice Plan). When an incoming call comes in, it uses the default Hangouts Ringer (which I don't like). However, I can't find anywhere to set the ringtone for Incoming Google Voice Calls ringing in Hangouts.
I have 4 HTC One X phones in my office. All of them are experiencing the same problem. If we happen to be listening to music using earphones and later unplug the earphones, the phone loses all sound capability. That is the phones ringtone disappears, if I make a call, or receive a call, I cannot hear the other person, the sound on the keypad also disappears.
We just got new Bold 9700 handsets. We have set them up with our bes server and changed our bis accounts (hotmail + other) and the phone is now receiving email from all accounts correctly. The problem is all the mail is going into one "inbox" on the handset. Previously we had the bes email going to seperate bis inboxes and the bes account going to its own seperate inbox. As below At the moment everything is going into the one envelope inbox.Any idea's?
I'm running across this issue which might be difficult to explain so bear with me. When I send text messages to people who don't have a smartphone/iphone, if the last word of the text appears on it's own line within my message box then it will send that last word to the recipeint as a separate text message. it does this even if the text is really short and definitely hasn't reached the 140/160 character count max. I'm not sure if this occurs with those that have smartphones. Does anyone know if there is a setting I'm missing/could change to get this to stop? My fiance is getting really annoyed with it.
