Xperia Z2 :: Lockscreen / Small Apps And Homescreen Crash
Nov 2, 2015Sometimes, my lockscreen doesn't work, when i press the powerbutton i'm Just directly in my homescreen.
When my lockscreen doesn't work my small apps don't work to.
And Sometimes my homescreen is Just Black and when i try things like Google now(swyping up from home button) while my home screen is Black it only shows the animation and then turns black again.
BB Bold 9700 :: BES & BIS Accounts Not Showing Separately?
Jan 13, 2010We just got new Bold 9700 handsets. We have set them up with our bes server and changed our bis accounts (hotmail + other) and the phone is now receiving email from all accounts correctly. The problem is all the mail is going into one "inbox" on the handset. Previously we had the bes email going to seperate bis inboxes and the bes account going to its own seperate inbox. As below At the moment everything is going into the one envelope inbox.Any idea's?

May 6, 2012I'm running across this issue which might be difficult to explain so bear with me. When I send text messages to people who don't have a smartphone/iphone, if the last word of the text appears on it's own line within my message box then it will send that last word to the recipeint as a separate text message. it does this even if the text is really short and definitely hasn't reached the 140/160 character count max. I'm not sure if this occurs with those that have smartphones. Does anyone know if there is a setting I'm missing/could change to get this to stop? My fiance is getting really annoyed with it.

Oct 13, 2015I don't understand why my smstone is much louder than my ringtone. Just bought this phone 2 days ago, and it's not possible to set smstone and ringtone loudness separately, like it is on my previous phone LG G2. When I set the tone so I can hear my ringtone, the smstone is way to loud. And if I turn it down so the smstone is not loud, I can't hear when my phone rings.

Jan 15, 2010After upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.

Sep 4, 2010I'm a little late to the Wallpaper thread, having just discovered the many amazing photographs and artwork done by fellow MacForums members.
Is it a simple matter of putting the photo onto the camera via syncing and then selecting it as the wallpaper, or does the new wallpaper pic have to be placed into a specific album or location in camera roll in order to be selectable via settings for wallpaper?

Jun 21, 2010I just put them on my phone and they fit pretty well, so I thought I'd share. I made them high-resolution for the iPhone 4. The wood one seems to work well for the home screen while the abstract works for the lock screen.

Feb 7, 2012A few days ago, I noticed that all my wallpapers are gone but the one I selected. Neither the Settings -> Wallpapers nor the Gallery section contains them but i was able to Download them. Is it somehow possible to get them back in the Settings -> Wallpaper section? I aleady tried the simpliest way, I connected my device to my computer and copied them to the phone, but taht does not lead to the desired solution. My next step was to get access via ssh and find the folder where the wallpapers actually are stored in. Both times, no success. I even reset the N9 to factory due to other minor inconsistencies, this morning. Again, no success. Now I'm at a loss what to do next, does anyone have the same problem or does someone have a solution for this for example the wallpaer folder on the phone or maybe an easier way to get them back.

Oct 5, 2011I am facing a trouble with the home screen wallpaper. I have few pictures on the BB bold 9900 and when I open those pictures they are getting opened in the right format(size).
But when I select them for my wallpapers they are getting distorted as BB is accepting them with larger(Zoom) size.I checked the default images(Autumn,detail,Droplet etc) on the phone as well and found that it is getting distorted as I have zoomed it but in actual I have not. The same way wallpapers images are getting saved with Zoomed size.I have done the reset wallpapers on the home screen preference option and also tried to reset settings as well but still no success. Is there any way to get the wallpapers in the normal size rather than zoomed size.

Aug 4, 2010So, for the first time since I got it, I tried setting some new wallpapers, see if maybe there's something that'd look nice. But then presented itself a problem: when I set a wallpaper, the upper and lower edges of the screen remained a blurry sort of thing, the same colour as the default background of the theme (in my case, it was the Golden Business). My question is whether this can be disabled? I searched, and I couldn't find.Also, writin' this on my Nokia E72 right now (yeah, advertising Nokia's product on their own site).

Oct 2, 2012Every picture taken from my Bold 9900 is displayed twice in "Camera Pictures" folder. Same problem with the Wallpapers also. And when I delete any of these two pictures, both gets deleted. That means it's not creating a copy itself. Can't even sroll to the right to check the next picture using trackpad. But scrolling is possible with touch screen after a hard push.

Nov 4, 2011A problem getting wall papers to appear for selection. Pictures I take are available as wallpapers, as are some that I upload to my phone, but not all, even when they are in the same folder. Photo viewer doesn't show them either but if I use file manager to select them they display ok.What do I have to do to get these pictures I have put on my phone available as wallpapers and viewable in as photos? Do they have to be a certain size or format or in a particular directory or something else?
