I just put them on my phone and they fit pretty well, so I thought I'd share. I made them high-resolution for the iPhone 4. The wood one seems to work well for the home screen while the abstract works for the lock screen.
I can't seem to locate any of the Albums that I created on my iPhone when loading onto my MBP (i.e. through iPhoto, Image Capture and Preview). I know that all of the indivdual photos are there but I wanted to access (& copy) the specific album to avoid having to re-create it.
I created playlists on my iPhone 5, but iTunes only shows an older playlist with songs no longer on my iPhone, instead of the new playlists with the new songs. The Sync option under the iPhone Music tab in iTunes seems to be a computer-to-iPhone option only.Â
I don't care if it's iTunes or something else, I need an efficient way to backup a copy of my playlists (not necessarily the songs, just the lists of songs) for future reference and ideally with export/import options.Â
1) Is there any way to fix iTunes to show the playlists and allow them to be exported? 2) If no, are accessible copies of the playlists included somewhere in iPhone backups? 3) If no, is there an app that can accomplish the task of backing up these playlists?
When I got my iPhone, my niece was trying to be helpful and downloaded some free apps. She signed onto her Apple ID account on MY phone and downloaded some apps. I have my own Apple ID with the iPhone.
Now, when I try to download apps, it is coming up with her Apple ID and requesting a password. How do I get rid of her Apple ID on my phone so that mine is the only one there?
I created a custom ringtone which shows up in the "Tones" folder in the I-Tunes library as well as the "Tones" folder on the phone when plugged into the computer. However, it does not show up on the phone as a new ring tone. When I tried to sync the "Tones" folder I got the warning about erasing all the songs on the phone, which it did when I synced it but the ringtone still never showed up on the phone.
Ever since I upgraded from 5.0.1, my 4s has had the worst cal quality on At&t. It makes calls fine however once in conversation my voice drops out for 2-3 seconds about 10 times a min according to the folks I am speaking with. And when my voice does come through it sounds muffled. I always have at least 4-5 bars. I have traded in my 4s now four times but every phone I get in return comes pre-loaded with 5.1. Is there a way to drop back down to ios 5.0.1?
I have sync of Contacts, Mails etc. with MS Exchange. When I create a new contact on the iPhone, this contact is not synced with the Exchange contacts.
I have over 30 contacts like this and I would like to move them to Exchange. For all new contacts I create via iPhone I would like them to be in Exchange.
I just purchased a new iPhone 5S... I am brand new to Apple logic. I figured out how to create a photo-folder on the iPhone (created one as a test), but now I can't figure out how to delete the folder.
Have been hearing that 3G won't have many features of iOS 4.0 including wallpapers. But just saw an Apple 'official' picture in other thread in which 3G also appears to have wallpaper enabled...
so i believe this is one of the more well worth apps to pay 10 bucks for. no cables is such a nice touch to adding directly all content from itunes. practically no real need for mobileme in my opinion due to this.anyways i was so pleased with the results that i created my 1st Internet video review of it.hope it is informative enough to convince others its capabilities
I had to restore my 4S so i decided to sync with iPhoto so i wouldnt lose my photos, but know it has a whole lot of folders like 'Last import' and such. its just a nag because theyre basically duplicates, is there a way where i can have to albums 'Photo Library' and 'Camera Roll'?
I'm a little late to the Wallpaper thread, having just discovered the many amazing photographs and artwork done by fellow MacForums members.
Is it a simple matter of putting the photo onto the camera via syncing and then selecting it as the wallpaper, or does the new wallpaper pic have to be placed into a specific album or location in camera roll in order to be selectable via settings for wallpaper?
Does anyone know of any sites that have iPhone compatible hi def wallpapers? I wanna show off that smooth display. btw, my iPhone works great! I'm sick of seeing all these downers.
just want to try this. can i ssh an animated wallpaper? or do i need an app to run it...if ssh, where does the file go (and what does it need to be named)? new to theming the iphone (an old hand at this on the mac!)
Since the iphone 4 have been announced today i thought its time to start sharing some new iPhone 4 wallpaper here These 4 wallpapers are my favorite iPhone 4 wallpapers right now. If you are going to share your wallpapers, make sure that the resolution is 640x960.If you are one of the lucky few that already have the new iphone 4 you can find more wallpapers Here
Just saw this very cool music video that was created using Four iPhones playing 4 videos and synced together. It's a cover of Lady Gaga 'Bad Romance' by the New York Trio Love and Logic. Very creative the way this was done. There is also a video posted on how it was filmed.
I have downloaded a new version of iOS. And now trying to restore all of the information from the backup from itunes and it wants an encrypted password. I have never created a password for back up and I don't know what to do!!! my phone is dead now!
I had a .MAC account which became a MobleMe and then I transitioned to iCloud. I just received a new iPhone 4S and, when setting up the iCloud account on the new iPhone I typed the email address incorrectly. How can I delete the new account, which has the correct Apple ID and wrong email address? I have gone to AppleID@Apple.com and verified the correct email address is connected to my Apple ID. At iCloud.com/#mail I went to preferences and can add or delete an alias email address but can not delete the primary. When I try to change the email it says that email is already taken.
I recently purchased an iphone 4s, and shortly after, my son dowloaded a virus on my computer, and I had to a factory reset (for the 3rd time in 6 months). Now all of my playlists are stuck on my iphone. I have all of the music files backed up, but I really don't want to have to create all of my playlists AGAIN. I read a post online that said that if you create a playlist on the iphone, it will sync back to itunes, so I copied all of my existing playlists on the iphone again, so that they would now be 'new' playlists.
The problem is, when I start the sync to itunes, I get the message that says if I sync with the computer, all files on the iphone will be replaced with files from itunes. Right now, my itunes is empty. If I go through with the sync, am I going to lose everything on the iphone, or will it copy all of the 'new' playlists from the iphone into itunes? I guess it's not the end of the world if I have to recreate the whole library, but it took me about 12 hrs to do it last time, so I really don't want to have to go that route if I don't have to!
I had an old account but had lost access to the email. In frustration I created a new account to use with iTunes on windows. Now history repeats itself and I've a new iPhone 4 that I want to load with data from both old and new accounts. Do I need to just go to the Genius bar next time I'm in town or is there some way to log into each account, back up the data and merge to the new account?
My friend suggested that we make an iPhone wallpaper thread without trees, and I agree, seeing as though I don't like trees. Feel free to post iPhone wallpapers without trees.
I was wondering, is it possible to get a different wallpaper for each page on your homescreen. Without jailbreaking it. It would be a pretty awesome feature.
