IPhone :: Delete A Second Apple ID Created Accidently?
Apr 5, 2012
When I got my iPhone, my niece was trying to be helpful and downloaded some free apps. She signed onto her Apple ID account on MY phone and downloaded some apps. I have my own Apple ID with the iPhone.
Now, when I try to download apps, it is coming up with her Apple ID and requesting a password. How do I get rid of her Apple ID on my phone so that mine is the only one there?
I had an old account but had lost access to the email. In frustration I created a new account to use with iTunes on windows. Now history repeats itself and I've a new iPhone 4 that I want to load with data from both old and new accounts. Do I need to just go to the Genius bar next time I'm in town or is there some way to log into each account, back up the data and merge to the new account?
I just purchased a new iPhone 5S... I am brand new to Apple logic. I figured out how to create a photo-folder on the iPhone (created one as a test), but now I can't figure out how to delete the folder.
This morning my 2-yr old was touching my iphone and when I took it away, it says LOCKED SIM and wants me to enter a pin !!! I tried twice and failed. I have only one last attempt left it says..I don't know what happens then and don't want to find out --; Is it possible for her to have set the pin for the SIM card?? Because then I have NO idea what numbers she could have pressed.
But I had my phone locked all the time so she couldn't have gotten through my phone passcode. So I don't know how she could have set the SIM pin...
So now, nobody can get through to me because my phone is not getting any calls. I am able to access evertyhing else - mail, internet, contacts...
I am not able to sync with it as when I try to sink with my outlook 7 caqlendar, The new entriexs on the IPhoine disaper and do not sink over to my computer.
How do I delete the apple id and password I use on my iPhone and just use the one on my MacBook for both devices. When I bought my iPhone I tried to set up my apple id on the phone using the same username and password as on my MacBook but it didn't like my password on the iPhone. The password was acceptable on the MacBook but the iPhone required a more complicated password. So, I set up a separate Apple id on my iPhone and now I have two apple ids and I'd like to delete one and just use one for both devices.
How can I delete an earlier Apple-ID which is used to configurate an iphone? The earlier used id is not in use anymore and the mailaddress is neither in use.
I have just tried to backup and update my iphone to iOS 5.1. The backup seems to have worked but when it came to restoring the iphone, I think the hard disk ran out of space and so it failed. I saw this and so I freed up around 3Gb of disk space and I tried it again. It again failed. Again I noticed that there was no space left on the hard disk. I assumed that to continue the restore it probably won't need that much more space (as it had already done most of the work) so I freed up a few more Gb.
Again it failed. When it fails, itunes leaves the partially restored elements on my hard disk meaning that my 'Apple Computer' folder is now 28Gb!! I cannot afford to delete anything else from the hard disk. I am using a PC by the way. I have noticed that in the folder 'Apple ComputerMobileSyncBackup' has 5 folders in it which is the same amount that I tried to restore the iphone (before the last restore attempt there were 4 folders). These folders amount to 20Gb. From this I am assuming that the actual backup that I made is infact in 'Apple ComputeriTunesMobile Backups'. Can I delete the folders in 'MobileSyncBackup'? This would free up 20Gb of disk space giving me enough to properly restore (in theory!).
I have searched my whole phone for my MemoPad and it is honest to the G no where to be found.... Anyone know where I can go to download it again???? Btw it says I have this app but its MIA. (Missing in action)
I wanted to edit an event on the phone. The event not editable, dont know why. However then i saw the option of deleting the event. On clicking that, it said Delete all Events. When I confirmed the deletion, it not only deleted that event but all the events on my phone. Now when i sync with my gmail account, I get the message " Delete Limit Exceeded. What would like to do now?" I select the option "Undo Deletion" but nothing happens. Is there a way the calendar entries can be retrieved?
One time when I was flashing my droid I over clocked it,My droid is currently flashed to cricket,After i overclocked it, it does not hold as much battery and is getting very HOT!so how can I set to standard droid thing, as it was before, without messing up flashing settings.
I just put them on my phone and they fit pretty well, so I thought I'd share. I made them high-resolution for the iPhone 4. The wood one seems to work well for the home screen while the abstract works for the lock screen.
I have a xpress 5800 and last week I accidently set a photo in my gallery to flash up every time a number rings that I have not assigned a photo to or a number I do not know rings. Despite 3 emails to nokia and 3 acknowledgements of these emails and a promise to get in touch they have not bothered. Can anyone help me to undo what I've done? I cannot find any help in the booklet about it.
I have a Bold 9780. Yesterday I accidently deleted 1 contact that had very important info in Notes section. Last back up was in Jan 2012 and have lots of info/contacts, etc on Blackberry so I would prefer to backup current to date; I just backed up a few minutes ago (so now have 2 backups saved on my desktop); however still need that contact with that info. Can I retrieve only that contact info anywhere, even if I just see it and write it out?
