Nokia Nseries :: N9 Wallpapers Are Gone?

A few days ago, I noticed that all my wallpapers are gone but the one I selected. Neither the Settings -> Wallpapers nor the Gallery section contains them but i was able to Download them. Is it somehow possible to get them back in the Settings -> Wallpaper section? I aleady tried the simpliest way, I connected my device to my computer and copied them to the phone, but taht does not lead to the desired solution. My next step was to get access via ssh and find the folder where the wallpapers actually are stored in. Both times, no success. I even reset the N9 to factory due to other minor inconsistencies, this morning. Again, no success. Now I'm at a loss what to do next, does anyone have the same problem or does someone have a solution for this for example the wallpaer folder on the phone or maybe an easier way to get them back.

A problem getting wall papers to appear for selection. Pictures I take are available as wallpapers, as are some that I upload to my phone, but not all, even when they are in the same folder. Photo viewer doesn't show them either but if I use file manager to select them they display ok.What do I have to do to get these pictures I have put on my phone available as wallpapers and viewable in as photos? Do they have to be a certain size or format or in a particular directory or something else?

I deleted default wallpapers on C: prebuiltmediaimagesackgrounds, and I want to restore it there (I made backup) but when I copy/restore there they are no more visible in Picture gallery

I can still change my wallpapers BUT I can only use pictures taken and the default ones. I made sure that the custom ones I made are the same as the default ones. I just got Belle on my N8 and I can't figure it out at all. I know it has to do with "hidden folders" on my E: drive (Not F in this case) I don't know where they could be or should be at this point). It also take a while for any previews to display.
I got 2 missing links that show up when I try to select a wallpaper (from the homescreen). At first I had none then 1 now 2. If I search for pictures from the gallery they don't show up at all (because they're hidden). If I could somehow soruce where they are I could remove them on my own.
I wish (how it was on Anna) that files in the wallpaper folder were the only one that could be found when changing wallpapers from the homescreen. Changing them from the galley doesn't work properly like it does from the homescreen (WTfail). How did I get into this mess? FaceContacts (Hidding that folder) and Trucaller (Hidding that folders cache) photos. I hide them so that they don't appear when selecting in Nokia Sleep Screen and changing wallpapers. I've deleted FaceContacts and removed those folders for now. I left TruCaller because I never saw those images appear so it wasn't the issue.
When I turn off & on my phone I can select a wallpaper again :/ At least the phone isn't slow

I'm a little late to the Wallpaper thread, having just discovered the many amazing photographs and artwork done by fellow MacForums members.
Is it a simple matter of putting the photo onto the camera via syncing and then selecting it as the wallpaper, or does the new wallpaper pic have to be placed into a specific album or location in camera roll in order to be selectable via settings for wallpaper?

I just put them on my phone and they fit pretty well, so I thought I'd share. I made them high-resolution for the iPhone 4. The wood one seems to work well for the home screen while the abstract works for the lock screen.

Been looking for some new 1080p wallpapers in portrait orientation! Seems like all the apps I use are only in landscape and to get a wallpaper you have to crop them, which kills the resolution... And doing a Google search for 1080x1920 wallpapers does not get the job done.

I am facing a trouble with the home screen wallpaper. I have few pictures on the BB bold 9900 and when I open those pictures they are getting opened in the right format(size).
But when I select them for my wallpapers they are getting distorted as BB is accepting them with larger(Zoom) size.I checked the default images(Autumn,detail,Droplet etc) on the phone as well and found that it is getting distorted as I have zoomed it but in actual I have not. The same way wallpapers images are getting saved with Zoomed size.I have done the reset wallpapers on the home screen preference option and also tried to reset settings as well but still no success. Is there any way to get the wallpapers in the normal size rather than zoomed size.

So, for the first time since I got it, I tried setting some new wallpapers, see if maybe there's something that'd look nice. But then presented itself a problem: when I set a wallpaper, the upper and lower edges of the screen remained a blurry sort of thing, the same colour as the default background of the theme (in my case, it was the Golden Business). My question is whether this can be disabled? I searched, and I couldn't find.Also, writin' this on my Nokia E72 right now (yeah, advertising Nokia's product on their own site).

Every picture taken from my Bold 9900 is displayed twice in "Camera Pictures" folder. Same problem with the Wallpapers also. And when I delete any of these two pictures, both gets deleted. That means it's not creating a copy itself. Can't even sroll to the right to check the next picture using trackpad. But scrolling is possible with touch screen after a hard push.

I was wondering how to make the wallpaper for my rant work sideways and long ways, like, i have two wallpapers i made, one that is 176x220 and one 220x176 for the rant, and i want to apply both so they fill the screen when its closed and opened, how do i do this if its even possible, like the ones that came with the phone can do it.

So I've been googling, looking all over the place at zedge.net and the like and I just can't find animated wallpapers for the LG env Touch. It seems like all roads lead to instructions, not actual wallpapers.I'm all set with the procedure, been using bitpim for a while now so I've got that down pat. I just came from an Archos 5 Internet Tablet, which means that I'm pretty savvy with android, but several things are different (e.g. orientation, manufacturer's modifications).So, I have a few queries, the most important is about backgrounds.I am a keen photographer, and I was wondering what is the best way to crop a background on photoshop, so that it slides right into the homescreen with no trouble.I am guessing for the background, it would be 800px high, or perhaps less, depending on whether it is overlapped by the status bar or whether it begins underneath. If I wanted a non-moving background I would guess I'd want 480px across, but what about if I want a moving one?

hey i just got this atrix and i had a sd card from a blackberry. loaded all my picture to the new phone but when i try to set a wallpaper it crops it out and blows it up to the point i can only see a fraction of the picture whaqt do i do to see the whole pic?

I have my phone set with two wallpapers; one when I am on the cell network, the other when i am on a WiFi connetion.When I sent a personal picture taken with my phone, or one that i have saved the picture breaksdown after a couple of days. I can put the same picture back up, or change the picture and it will be fine for a while then the same thing happens. This only happens with the picture that i have set to show when i am on the cell network.I have attached a photo of my phone, after the wallpaper was set for two days
