View 1 Replies View RelatedHave had a BB Torch 9800 for about 15 months. Realised earlier this week (after a reboot, which may or may not be relevant) that the default wallpapers had all disappeared. Shortly after that, I realised all the default ringtones and sounds had gone too.
Tried to follow steps on another forum to reinstall sound files. One step was to "Browse to C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesResearch In MotionSharedLoader Files(current device latest OS folder)Java" - problem being that when I navigate as far as C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesResearch In MotionShared there is no LOADER FILES folder on my PC. I haven't consciously deleted this, so what the hell is going on?!
If I don't have the COD files on my PC, is there any way to restore the default sounds and wallpapers?
My Samsung s5 keeps reverting back to the original screen wallpaper. Is starting to really tick me off. The ones that will last for a month or two then it goes right back sometimes they last less than that. Also my apps keep disappearing on the home screens. The app pages I create.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am facing a trouble with the home screen wallpaper. I have few pictures on the BB bold 9900 and when I open those pictures they are getting opened in the right format(size).
But when I select them for my wallpapers they are getting distorted as BB is accepting them with larger(Zoom) size.I checked the default images(Autumn, detail,Droplet etc) on the phone as well and found that it is getting distorted as I have zoomed it but in actual I have not. The same way wallpapers images are getting saved with Zoomed size.I have done the reset wallpapers on the home screen preference option and also tried to reset settings as well but still no success. Is there any way to get the wallpapers in the normal size rather than zoomed size.
.bought a unlocked storm 2 on ebay cheap. It was a great deal, it's in excellent condition, works fine, no problems. However, the previous owner somehow managed to delete ALL the ringtones and alerts on the phone, and I do mean all of them, I have nothing on this phone right now except for a couple I put on just to have them. My question is there any way I can get a file with all the original ring tones for this phone?

Every picture taken from my Bold 9900 is displayed twice in "Camera Pictures" folder. Same problem with the Wallpapers also. And when I delete any of these two pictures, both gets deleted. That means it's not creating a copy itself. Can't even sroll to the right to check the next picture using trackpad. But scrolling is possible with touch screen after a hard push.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI get my ringtones from myxer.com and mytinyphone and sites such as that. When I set any of these ringtones i download as my sms alert or phone call ringtone, it just uses the default ringtone. So I checked to see if I saved my ringtone settings. Sure enough I did. So I tried turning my phone off and back on, and my ringtone settings just get reset back to default. When I had my 2 gig microsd in it was doing the same thing, but after a couple days it was using the ringtones I set for it. I just put an 8 gig microsd in and there's no hope.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI have been using zillatube to convert videos to ringtones. I have converted them to MP3 and used their blackberry setting which is MP4. I was helped last night to move the converted files to my BB, when I go to test them as ringtones a message comes up "the ring tone is invalid". That occurred with both formats. What am I doing wrong?

Easy to scroll through etc.But what's bugged me is that the ringtones on the 8520 are not on the 9900.... so if you have gotten use to them, you can no longer have them.Has anyone here got the ability to either send me a link to download the following two ringtones, or have the means to take them from their phone and upload them to here.... if that's permitted?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUpdated the OS on Bold 9700 to 6.0 2534. The upgrade was successful but I now have a much reduced set of ringtone options. In reality the choices available are now all more suited to message alerts rather than call alerts. View 1 Replies View RelatedThey seem to have become lost after an update crash. They appear to be still on the phone as the alerts in use at the time continue to function but are inaccessible to change and if changed for an imported ringtone can not be restored. How to restore them?
Edit: Ringtone folder on device is empty.
I've been trying (unsuccessfully) for the past 5 hours to resolve a custom ringtone issue with my 9700 and it is driving me crazy!I have custom ringtones set for some of my contacts for calls and messages and they were all working perfectly. Then today, I received a text message from one of my contacts and noticed the tone was the from the default profile. I checked the contact setting and the custom ringtone was the same, but whenever messages from the contacts came in, it was using the default profile. Whenever I get calls from the contact, the custom ringtone works, but all of a sudden it just stopped working for messages. Then I realized this situation is the same for ALL contacts that I had a custom ringtone for. I am completely baffled. I've probably done about 100 battery pulls.

Is there a way to do it on Outlook so I can do it easier than on my little BB? I assigned about 100 pictures to contacts on Outlook and since the 2 sync, all the pictures showed up with the right contacts. This saved me soooooo much time...I was wondering if there was a way to do similar with ringtones
