I have my phone set with two wallpapers; one when I am on the cell network, the other when i am on a WiFi connetion. When I sent a personal picture taken with my phone, or one that i have saved the picture breaksdown after a couple of days. I can put the same picture back up, or change the picture and it will be fine for a while then the same thing happens. This only happens with the picture that i have set to show when i am on the cell network.I have attached a photo of my phone, after the wallpaper was set for two days
hey i just got this atrix and i had a sd card from a blackberry. loaded all my picture to the new phone but when i try to set a wallpaper it crops it out and blows it up to the point i can only see a fraction of the picture whaqt do i do to see the whole pic?
I just got Belle on my N8 and I can't figure it out at all. I know it has to do with "hidden folders" on my E: drive (Not F in this case) I don't know where they could be or should be at this point). It also take a while for any previews to display.
I got 2 missing links that show up when I try to select a wallpaper (from the homescreen). At first I had none then 1 now 2. If I search for pictures from the gallery they don't show up at all (because they're hidden). If I could somehow soruce where they are I could remove them on my own.
I wish (how it was on Anna) that files in the wallpaper folder were the only one that could be found when changing wallpapers from the homescreen. Changing them from the galley doesn't work properly like it does from the homescreen (WTfail). How did I get into this mess? FaceContacts (Hidding that folder) and Trucaller (Hidding that folders cache) photos. I hide them so that they don't appear when selecting in Nokia Sleep Screen and changing wallpapers. I've deleted FaceContacts and removed those folders for now. I left TruCaller because I never saw those images appear so it wasn't the issue.
When I turn off & on my phone I can select a wallpaper again :/ At least the phone isn't slow

I got a message to upgrade to ICS today. I sarted that on Wifi at home only to find out it had lost connection at 37%. It had an orang triangle with an exclaimation mark in it. Then i made sure it was connected to wifi. but still no change in status. i rebooted the phone and since then not download happening. I tried system update option. it gives the following message"An update is currently being downloaded. You will be notified when the download is complete.
Received the razr a few days ago, unlocked and without the SIM card. Tried to connect to home modem (RTA1046VW) and the modem disconnected from the internet and would not connect unless I turned off the phone wifi. Other phones connect to the router fine, HTC desire HD and samsung galaxy S I. Is it a problem with phone? Not compatible?
When I go to change wallpapers (using the stock ones, not the gallery or live) only the Stock X one shows up, when I scroll through the default ones it doesn't change to the one selected. The stock X one always displays in the preview, even if I scroll to another. If I select one other than the other and click "set" it won't show until I reboot the phone
When I get a meeting invite from someone as an .ics file attached to an email if I open the attachment and press save it is saved to the local phone calendar and not my Google calendar, which has been set to be the default calendar. There seems to be no option to allow it to save it to the Google calendar (or move it afterwards), other than not saving it on the phone but waiting until I have access to my (non-Moto) Android tablet which doesn't have a local calendar, just the Google calendar.
2 Days Back i received a mess that i can upgrade my RAZR to ICS.Before upgrading i thought i will clean up my phone by doing a factory reset and then go for upgrade. After doing the factory reset when i checked for system update to upgrade.i am not able to do as the mess pops up saying "Your Device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time".but my android version is 2.3.6 only.I am staying in INDIA
When using the Droid Razr as a hot spot for my Zoom I cannot access Yahoo.com and a few other sites. When connecting using a conventional wireless hot spot there is no problems. Also tested using an HTC 4gLTE and there was no problems. The issue is specific to the Verizon/Motorola Razr Hot Spot. There seem so be an MTU issue with many sites when only using a Droid Razr as a hot spot, The Razr connects directly to all the sites but the Hot Spot function will not allow certain sites. After repeated calls and Google Searches I found a tech that amited that Verizon / Motorola Droid Razr has an issue with accessing certain sites only in the Hot Spot App. They plan to correct in the next update hopefully in Feb 2012. They suggested the the fix is in Beta. Some of the sites that don't connect are Yahoo.com and Yahoo.mail Microsoft.com some Apple sites. There are more but I didn't have pen at the time.
i added my Internet account to the "social networks" apps but i get the error that is not able to synchornize.i removed the account and added it again and keep getting the same error...i also encounter the problem with picasa, but not everytime.
I moved from the droid x to the razr a couple weeks ago, I'm having trouble using my tethering on laptops and desktops. I can connect my Xoom and iPad just fine, but my laptop and desktop both windows 7 ultimate say they cannot connect. I have not tried to connect with USB so I don't know if that works. when or if we can get ICS for the razr?
I can see the mp3 and flac files when I connect my RAZR to my laptop, but the device itself can't see/play the music. Not sure what is going on here. why I can't access the music on my SD card that was fine on my Droid4? Seems odd that my music folder is empty (when I browse to it using files/astro.)
I'm unable to take a portrait photograph or video on my Razr. If I hold it in portrait mode, the icons don't rotate like they do on the Galaxy Nexus, there's no option to set it to portrait mode, and every picture ends up in landscape. Even if I disable Auto Rotate, they're all in landscape. This is a real pain in the butt because sometimes I need more detail on something that is taller than it is wide but I have to settle for the extra space of landscape. The Galaxy Nexus and Droid Bionic allow portrait photographs and video, why doesn't the Razr.
Unlike other stock apps and Verizon bloatware, I was unable to re-enable the stock Email app.
My stock Email app used to be linked to my office Outlook email. From further research, I have found that it is the cause for warning such as "Unfortunately, process.com.motorola.services has been force closed" or something like that to pop up. My attemp to fix this was to download other developer's apps, but soon to find out nearly all of them only supports POP3 and IMAP. Needless to say I feel nauseating just thinking about spending $20 for apps like ActiveSync and TouchDown for the stupid Outlook email!
I'm trying to connect to my shared folders on a Windows XP machine through the My Files app, but it keeps saying the login is incorrect. The shared folders are the typical XP Shared Documents in My Computer, and I can access them through EStrongs File Explorer easily, and the PC has a username and password so that's not the problem. It doesn't matter what I type in for that anyways.Shouldn't this work out of the box? It seems like I have to jump through some unspecified hoops here, and there's no clue what I'm supposed to do. It looks like a useless feature at this point.
I don't care if its not an HD resolution display, or if some apps are not compatible because of the Intel Chip. But I can't really buy a Razr I if I will not be able to install/move apps to the SD card, I can't have only 5Gb for Apps! Specially now that some apps/games can take around 600mb-1gb of space. I know some apps need to be on the internal memory, but most not.
So my question is, will this be addressed with the Jelly Bean update? If so, I think this is the phone for me, if not I guess I'll have to keep looking for another one.
Okay so I ONLY want the ability to select a custom image OR use downloaded backgrounds as wallpapers. How do I delete all stock ones? I disabled all the live wallpapers in apps, but some are just pictures.
A coworker has a DOD encryption device on his computer. Whenever he sends me any email from his computer, I get the feather with the red exclamation point and the message [Unable to decrypt this message]. If I click on the red exclamation point I get the following:Digital signature informationDigital signature error.RROR: Unable to get certificatedata. My previous Droid 1 would display the messages from my coworkers computer without an error. We use a Microsoft Exchange email server. What do I need to do to be able to view emails from this coworker? He forwarded me the same message from his iPhone 3S and I was able to view it. So it has something to do with the encryption. I saw someone had the same problem on the Droid Razr HD / Droid HD MAXX forum.
I am trying to connect to a WPA2 wifi network at one of my company's offices and having no luck. My Droid sees the network SSID and treats it as a WEP secured network, so it only provides me the ability to enter the WEP password and not the whole range of WPA2 credentials. I have tried pulling up all advanced options I can reach from the WiFi screens without finding a way to change this. I have ICS on the phone.
I used to have a Motorola Defy, you could set the alarm to selected music. I have been unable to do this with my new Motorola RAZR i. Also I cannot connect my phone to my PC. I have updated/reinstalled all the drivers but it still does not recognise my phone.
Upgraded three family DX's this weekend to the RAZR MAXX's and so far pretty pleased. My wife's phone has an interesting "feature?" which I haven't been able to figure how to turn off. When she has an unread email (either GMAIL or or local internet provider mail) periodicaly when the screen is locked and off the screen will turn on for a second and then turn off like a reminder notification. Obviously a battery killer. I've looked through all the reminder features including the add-on we use "Light Flow Lite" which we use for missed calls and cannot find where to turn this off.
