Motorola :: V3M How To Change Personalization On Lock Screen?
Aug 18, 2010On my wife's DROID X:
1. How do you change the personalization on the lock screen. It says, "This Phone Belongs to." How can my wife put in her name?
2. When my wife has her phone plugged into her laptop, a green light comes on, and the phone does not turn on when she hits the button, nor does it charge. Can anyone explain this to me?

Jan 19, 2012I have my phone set with two wallpapers; one when I am on the cell network, the other when i am on a WiFi connetion.When I sent a personal picture taken with my phone, or one that i have saved the picture breaksdown after a couple of days. I can put the same picture back up, or change the picture and it will be fine for a while then the same thing happens. This only happens with the picture that i have set to show when i am on the cell network.I have attached a photo of my phone, after the wallpaper was set for two days

Nov 4, 2011When I go to change wallpapers (using the stock ones, not the gallery or live) only the Stock X one shows up, when I scroll through the default ones it doesn't change to the one selected. The stock X one always displays in the preview, even if I scroll to another. If I select one other than the other and click "set" it won't show until I reboot the phone

Jul 7, 2011I am looking for an alternative to the standard Motoblur homescreen/launcher. I have tried ADW Launcher and Launcher Pro, and am looking for some other options. I am mainly looking to add more then seven homescreens, either keep the standard motoblur look or switch to something that looks like stock Froyo/Gingerbread, have a 3D app drawrer, and keep my current homescreens (widgets, shortcuts, etc) in place, as both ADW and Launcher Pro have forced me to start from scratch. I would like something free (or at least with a free trial or free version) and I am not a root user.

Sep 27, 2012I purchased the Atrix generation 1 the day it came out and haven't had this problem so this is throwing me off.What I need fixed:
1. When my phone is connected to the computer via USB, it charges but the computer doesn't recognize anything is connected (tried all 3 USB ports). If the computer doesn't recognize it or something is wrong with the cable/ports - it shouldn't charge, right?
2. On my phones status bar - the USB connection options wont show up. I've tried the USB debugging on/off method but I get nothing. The only time anything connection related shows up on my status bar is when I'm connected via Motorola Portal via wifi. Can't transfer music etc with portal though.What I have:
1. I use windows 7 on my laptop.
2. I already tried the factory reset.
3. I have the latest updates on my phone.
4. I already sent it to motorola and just got it back as a clean slate.

On mine, I have "Owner", Brightness, Settings, etc. I'd really like be able to silence my phone from this menu. There are more spaces, so I feel like I should be able to change what's on there. May 11, 2012According to this Motorola FAQ about their Android encryption, "When SD card encryption is enabled, all new files added to the removable memory will be encrypted. Files stored on the card will not be readable via another phone or card reader connected to PC. User can transfer files from encrypted SD card to PC using embedded Phone Portal application." So what happens if a user encrypts their data and their phone dies? They will not have the opportunity to transfer it to a PC and the replacement phone will have a different ESN. Is their data recoverable via any other mechanism or is it lost forever?

Is it a simple matter of putting the photo onto the camera via syncing and then selecting it as the wallpaper, or does the new wallpaper pic have to be placed into a specific album or location in camera roll in order to be selectable via settings for wallpaper?

Jun 21, 2010I just put them on my phone and they fit pretty well, so I thought I'd share. I made them high-resolution for the iPhone 4. The wood one seems to work well for the home screen while the abstract works for the lock screen.
