IPhone :: No Ringtone Sound When Call?
Jun 8, 2012My sound on my 3GS is good when i try out ringtones but when my phone actually rings i cant hear anything. It's brand new.Am i doing something wrong?

May 11, 2012my xperia mini pro (built 4.0.2.A.0.62) doesn't play ringtone on incoming call (sometimes it plays only 2 seconds), all sound set correctly (not in silent mode), I tried to call from another phone, there was incoming call but no sound, I can answer it, everything is fine only no ringtone sound. Any solution?

The issue I am getting is frequently mobile is getting silent automatically No ringtone is ringing, when I am getting incoming call only display is coming, when I am receiving call I cannot hear anything. So everytime I have to switch off mobile and remove battery and restart the phone again, for sometime everything is working fine but after some hours again getting silent.

Dec 2, 2014There is no sound when you answer or call out but there is sound for everything else. Not sure what else to try to get it working again, did a hard reset on it s few time but now thats not even working to fix the problem.

Jun 15, 2012My phone will vibrate, but does not audibly ring. The silent switch is not set, If i go into the settings menu, the ringer menu files are missing.
All other sounds work flawlessly, music plays, keyboard clicks away and voicemail, and text alerts come through, it's just the ringer that's problematic.

If we happen to be listening to music using earphones and later unplug the earphones, the phone loses all sound capability. That is the phones ringtone disappears, if I make a call, or receive a call, I cannot hear the other person, the sound on the keypad also disappears.

Aug 9, 2010Last night out of nowhere, I started receiving texts with a different ringtone than I usually do. When I went into the sound profiles (I have mine at "normal"), the old settings were still applied, however, when I checked out my contacts, they had all been set to another tone. I usually have them set at "gung **" but all my contacts had been changed to "sanguine".When checking the ringtone for my calls, I noticed that all my contacts had been changed to "classic ringtone" when the sound profile I had my phone on had a custom ringtone.
I don't mind that the texts ring a different sound but I really can't stand the classic ringtone sound so I wanted to know if anyone can help me with this? My phone seems to be working find except for that part. I tried a battery pull already..no help. I read somewhere that I might have to delete all my contacts and put them in again with custom tones for each person, but that seems like a huge waste of time. Help, please!
